Week 7 green space looking amazing

6/17: I am keeping things as is for the time being. The light is 20 inches from the plant at 350 PPFD on a 24 hour light schedule. Growth seems to be constant and picking up steam with tighter inter-nodal spacing at these settings. I plan to switch from the seedling light spectrum to a vegetative light spectrum once the second set of true leaves gets a bit more of its form. I will also change the light schedule from 24hr to 20/4. 6/19: Today marks the first day of the 20/4 light schedule using a vegetative light spectrum. All other conditions are the same. I'm still only spraying the soil once a day but feel by next week, I can up the feeding with a little calmag. We will see! 6/22: End of week two and things are looking great. I'm still a newb but I can see improvement in my strategy this grow. The plant is growing nicely and seems to be on a good pace. 6/21, I added in some calmag and upped the feeding amount. I also bumped my lighting up a bit too. I saw quick results as seen in the timelapse that day, as the leaves started to pray up. As of Sunday, all is well and so far this grow is exceeding my expectations! WEEK 2 AVG TEMP: 72.6F WEEK 2 AVG HUMIDITY: 74.3%

Start of week 8. Looks good. No big issues to report so that's good. Dropping feed to 350ppm. Using dry koolbloom for ripening and I plan to start flushing mid week. The gelato is having a hard time standing up. I've tied up branches everywhere. I took clones from plants that were in 3 weeks of flower for those 2 plants. (Monstercropping). It does work where there are way more stems and budsites. The downside is most stems are weak and cannot support alot of weight. It was a good experiment though. Thanks to the community for all the likes and support. Looking to harvest most plants in the next 2 weeks. Tricomes are filling up and beginning to turn cloudy on at least half the plants. Not much to report here. Buds are there, now just waiting for them to fatten up. This guy has been through the wars so I’m really interested to see how much weight it puts on. Also window cleaner came early yesterday and must have got a good look at the plants. Now it’s twitchy bum time for a couple of days. Hopefully my front door doesn’t get smashed in.

Week 3

Not as many photos these past few weeks because this and harvest are the most non-eventful. However, I can add that this variety of cannabis is EXTREMELY robust and vibrant despite light, nutrient and medium constraints! I get why growth is slowing; I've introduced far-red for EOD and BOD 15 minute regiments and I'm slowly decreasing light lengths instead of flipping(I don't want to stress out other plants in room). This is fine with me as not only this plant outgrown its area horizontally, I have roughly 20% vertical space remaining which should work out with flowering stretch. I didn't want to put flowering in this weeks journal despite obvious maturity(pistils are kool-aide red), the transition is slow but the past 3 days have been slow-er than past month. Lots of very lime green new growth which I've associated with a tad bit of light bleaching but actual leaves themselves show no signs of anything, I go back to when this plant was weeks old...it was very lime green then too so Boron, Molybdenum and Magnesium issues are out of the window. Same with iron. This plant is just fine but could use some UVa baths to pull out those phenotypical traits, a couple more days and my custom built board will be added to this room for 6hr increments. Otherwise, all is good. I could transplant but it's not showing it's rootbound. I could also raise my lights, I probably will tonight even though I've grown other plants 1" away with zero burn(around the led edges). I also have been feeding with McCormick(must be an old-school midwest thing) Strawberry Extract and as usual been seeing the plant respond, especially with "oops, too much" moments when using the blackstrap molasses! This micro area has a very humid(despite 45%Rh), dank, floral smell and when doing the rub test; this plant has a very fruity pungency to it. I like using molasses all the way through as when buds are harvested are much more dense, stay humid longer and have much more sugary kief. Rambling. Next week will have the 365nm UV, the results will blow your mind! Until then. Couldn't figure out the extreme lime green new growth despite almost perfect growing conditions all around, concluded light bleaching but never thought N or Iron deficiency. After transplanting, roots were pearl white, no rotting spots and very little soil showing. Good thing I amended heavily with 5-3-3 and 4-15-12 dry amendments and that blood meal I bought weeks back...3 days later the darker green is coming back! Lots of growth and it has a very distinct strawberry candy aromas when watered and when surrounding air is humid. I have also stopped using my 150w ceramic heater, temps hover 76°F to 80°F day and stay constant 66-68° nights. This plant has almost ideal growing conditions and you can see it's now focusing energy to forming sturdy bud sites. 2 more weeks until full blown flower 12/12 cycle but I cannot wait for this heatsink to get here for this UV light I've sourced. Week 6 starts 12/31/21 but I happened to notice a weird leaf the night before. The Northern Light X Blueberry auto is very dark green and has sharp downturned tips. Which starts down the rabbit hole of google search to see the cause. I decide that is is Nitrogen toxicity caused by underwatering. At this time I was not really paying attention to when I feed them just whenever the pots were light. I watered them I later realize that while it may have started with underwatering it was so many other problems at once. I forgot to check the ppm or ph going in one day last week so I checked them going out. The run off was 2700ppm and I forgot to look up what that meant. I also doubled the strength of the nutes. 1/2 Saturday I flushed all the plants with 5 gallons of fresh water each that read 6.43 ph & 51ppm. I have Fox farm sledge hammer but for some reason I decided to use just water. The run off was consistently 6.2ph and I rinsed until the ppm was about 450 on NB. 250 ppm on Gorilla Glue and Pineapple express. I then decided that since it was nitrogen toxicity from underwatering that I should not starve the plant so I gave her week 1 of flower nutrients from the Foxfarm feeding schedule at 1/2 strength. I did not use Calmag since it's nitrogen was 2 and I didn't add the boomerang because that has nitrogen as a 1 and I thought since this plant has nitrogen toxicity I should skip the extra 3 nitrogen for now. I set each plant up on blocks so air could totally circulate to dry out the pots. Turned the fans on and waited. 1/6 There has been almost no growth since the flush. NB started off at a little over 9 inches and if I stretch her she is 10 at most.

Started some LST early in the week for the slightly older plant, then later in the week with the other two. I was going to let them go Christmas tree style, but I can tell already they will out stretch the others. Ended up just bending the top and tying with pant ties. This should promote some busier plants. Still figuring out the Correct Cronk Dosage, it’s pretty strong stuff, just trying to find the balance. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Day 63 of the orange buds one was harvested early due to going hermie.. Possibly due to the fact they wer seriously underwatered a few weeks ago or that my 600w hps was flicking on and off for a few days or a combo of both... But anyways 2 oranges buds still going strong.. Until next week ✌️

Semana de lluvias y cuando llueve a resguardo y así llevo mejor controlado el tema de los riegos, de dejar que se mojen con el agua de lluvia me descontrola bastante la alimentación y me limpia el preventivo de las hojas.. Con 70 dias una altura de 166 ctms, la nº1 y 138 ctms la nº4 Siguen floreciendo a buen ritmo al igual que también siguen creciendo. Están en plena jauria y empiezan a deshacerse de las hojas más viejunas. Partes bajas.

Harvest time!

Cambio de Armario para las North Thunderfuck de Royal Queen, ahora mismo tienen 3 semanas y tienen otras dos de crecimiento, abrá que espabilar pues están pequeñas, para ello he realizado un trasplante a macetero definitivo de 5.5l para que las raíces pégen un buen tirón. En lo que respecta a la alimentación subo tanto EC a 1.0 como el PH a 6.0 para fomentar el crecimiento. Al riego posterior al trasplante siempre agrego micorrizas, que van muy bien para las raices provocando un crecimiento más rápido. También cambia la iluminación, pues ahora están bajo 100W de COB Citizen, que dan unos buenos resultados como podéis ver en mi seguimiento de critical x widow. Estas dos últimas semanas las temperaturas exteriores han sido muy altas influyendo también en las del interior, pero ya ha llegado el otoño y van llegando los parametros de cultivo a su punto óptimo.

📆 Semana 9 Las plantas avanzan en la fase de maduración avanzada, con los cogollos ya muy desarrollados, compactos y pesados, centrando toda su energía en el endurecimiento y afinado final. Los cálices terminan de hincharse y la resina alcanza niveles muy altos, cubriendo bien todas las flores. Los pistilos aparecen mayoritariamente oxidados, aunque aún se mantienen algunos blancos, indicando que la planta está cerca de su punto óptimo pero todavía en proceso de cierre. Se aprecia un leve foxtailing en algunas puntas, algo sutil propio de esta fase final, sin afectar a la calidad ni a la densidad general. La absorción continúa ralentizándose, mostrando claramente que la planta entra en su última etapa, enfocada en estabilizar su maduración y perfil aromático. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

Today is day 105 since the plants sprouted, and day 49 of flower (week 7). The plants look like they'll be finishing up nicely. I haven't seen any more pollen sacks or nanners forming on the Papaya Sherbert, and the buds on that plant don't look like they've been affected by pollen. The buds on both plants are hard as rocks, and still getting a little bulkier. The buds on the Papaya Sherbert (left plant in the tent) are getting pretty big, and I really look forward to seeing them after getting trimmed. The buds on the Orange Sherbert have definitely been smaller than the buds on the Papaya, but the buds still look nice. I think the Orange Sherbert naturally has more buds sites, however. Trichomes are developing nicely. The flower time on Orange Sherbert is 7 weeks, and I think it still needs closer to 2 weeks to form more amber trichomes, but the milky trichomes are looking great. The Papaya Sherbert has a 9-10 week flower time, so hopefully it lines up with the Orange Sherbet. The trichomes on Papaya Sherbert are noticeably behind, but not too far.
