Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Harvested the second plant. She was smaller bud her buds were STACKED. She is 164g wet so let's hope for an oz. UPDATE: 1.4oz out of the smaller plant for a total of 3.5 oz for the whole grow. Thanks for following along everyone!

She unfortunately molded a bit and my friend had to harvest her while i was on vacation. Really should add a fan to my setup.... Day 84 The Durban plants are actively growing foliage and reaching for the light, despite being bent. Every day after the lights go out, I bend their tops parallel to the floor (training). Sometimes the stems break slightly, but they are still flexible enough to recover. In 2-3 weeks, I plan to transplant them to a permanent location, where there will be 20-30 cm of space above the tops for ventilation. In the next cycle, I think four weeks of vegetation will be enough for ripening. At Gordem Delicatesies (GD), Brazilians have stretched in 20 weeks, sometimes faster. For me, this variety develops more slowly; I'm not chasing maximum speed. Meanwhile, the Jack Herer is ripening in the box above them. I'm waiting for a manicure table (thanks to Mila for the tip!). As soon as it arrives, I'll start harvesting. I'm glad that with this device I can meet the deadlines precisely. Day 87 They hit a lamp and set one top on fire. The others miraculously survived. Today I tied the plants to their pots again with wire. I bent them so they were 10-15 cm from the lamp. Some were tighter. I cut out a 5-liter bag containing the lower branches, which were turning yellow from lack of light, and the leaves the plant had shed on its own. Watering was light but regular. I watered 3 liters by hand on top of the automatic watering. I added 1.5 liters of Simplex Taste and 1.5 liters of Simplex Aroma Punch. I started adding Simplex SilliX again—organic silicon is needed to strengthen the stems. Right now they look rather stiff; they bend easily by hand. This is a plus in my situation, but in a couple of weeks I want to see stronger, more vigorous central colas in the box. Mold was appearing on the dry leaves at the bottom that I didn't remove in time. I took out all the bushes and carefully removed all the dry and yellow leaves. I chose the ones that came off without effort. Their plant has already finished growing. After this procedure, the fan was able to blow air through the base, meaning less mold. Young buds are ripening on both plants, about 1 cm in diameter. The upper leaves and flowers are healthy; they were eating the lower burdock leaves. It's interesting to watch the biofertilizer from Greens work. I'll add Simplex Mass and Simplex Power separately in the next few days. And after that, HB-101. I'll water with Fitosporin at least once. I also want to add "33 Bogatyrs" bacteria – @NBRZ recommended it. Once a week, I manually pour a liter of solution with Simplex Taste (very similar to horse manure from the garden) and Simplex Aroma Punch – a potassium-sulfur additive to enhance aroma and flavor.

She’s almost there! A few days to a week left! I think I’ll give her 24/48hrs darkness like the rest because wow that did make a difference! Smooth deep pungent aromas And flavours! This has both sweet and sour! I am seeing pink and purple fades coming through and so much frosting

Germ Week. Will grow the genetics but want nothing else to do with @Fast_Buds. While my other Jack Herer Autos will be in 7GAL fabrics, the Bruce Banner Autos will go in my basic 5GAL fabrics. Week 9 - flushing begins. Week 8 went well, the buds packed on weight and density, as the branches are sagging and twisting from the weight of the buds. This girl is incredibly sticky and very sweet and earthy smelling.

🌸 Flowering – Week 7 | Day 48 (Day 83 overall) Strawberry AK – Current Status I did not post the last update in the forum because of the incident with the 3 days of continuous light on the Strawberry AK. In the end, the plant handled it much better than expected. There are no signs of hermaphroditism, no bananas, and in that regard everything remains clean. Stress is still visible on some of the leaves, but fortunately the flower development was not seriously compromised. 🌿 Overall Development At this point, it is becoming clear that the Strawberry AK needs more time than originally expected. The plant may be ready in around 1 to 2 weeks, depending on how much progress she makes during the final stage of flowering. 🧠 Current Approach For now, the plan is simply to keep everything stable and give the plant the time it needs to finish properly.

She’s had a big growth spurt. She’s now twice as big as she was a week ago. However, I get the feeling she’s not quite living up to expectations. The first pistils are starting to show.

Great colour coming into the buds and decent thiccc factor coming it. Very similar in smell profile/build structure to the Purple Lemonade Auto from @Fast_Buds. Not as fat overall in terms of buds yet but the base is there for a very strong finish in the final weeks. Gave all the plants mostly water feeds this week in order to avoid salt build up. Some staining on the bottom of the fabric pots from the bottom feeds so just making sure the soil is fine for the final major nute feeds before flushing in a week or so. Has a lot of bud sites on the main cola adding to the chonk but will need to give the sugar leaves a pre trim before the final bulk to avoid bud rot/mold. Seems very dense in there. Other than that, the new @MarsHydroLED TSL 2000 and @ViparSpectraLED PS1500 for veg definitely made a huge difference and the buds on the Dark Devil. Left to right: All Gas x Cali Octane (Promo), Banana Butter Cups, Gelato, OG Triploid. Pictures taken day 48 of flower, just started into week 8. I messed up last week and uploaded pictures that were still from week 6, but I'll just leave it as is. I found one small bud with botrytis, seems to have been the only one, so not too worried there. The far red is really showing its effects now, all of these normally take 63-68 days to finish, as it is I think I can chop around day 58. Combined with the super short veg, I could do 5 runs like this a year. BBC is fading nicely, was growing strong. The others didn't use up the nutrients, even though its been straight water only with microorganisms and some kelp added every two weeks. I didn't do any pH correction and the tap water here comes out at pH of 8 and 0.8 EC, I cut it to 0.4 EC. Impressive! I am not getting sponsored by biotabs, but I am amazed what just the tab itself without any of the product line is achieving. I am sure, you can push the plant more, but I love the keep it simple approach. Next round I am going to add a Blumat self-watering system and just check in on the plants once a week. Edit: Harvested at day 56, the far-red took off a solid week - as expected. Smell was intense, they had 36 hrs of darkness before harvest, will hang until I get back Saturday evening and then go into the winecooler I modified. Currently at 19 C and 50% humidity, bit too dry, but it's only for two and a half days, so I'm not worried. The biotabs didn't fully dissolve in the 9 weeks they were in the pot, next round I will break them up a little. Only the BBC really faded, I hope the taste won't be too much on the nitrogen side 😬 harvest update will follow as soon as they are dry, so probably in another two weeks from now

Multiple clones taken at multiple times. 1 - Directly into soil, has been several weeks and no new growth showing 3 - In cup of water for ~ 1 week then into FloraFlex plugs w/ Clonex 1 - Into FloraFlex plugs w/ Clonex 11.04 - New growth but looks droopy - Top dressed w/ 1Tbsp of Dr. Earth Starter Fertilizer 11.12 - Corrected droopy leaves by keeping soil very very moist. Watered w/ left over CloneX and Recharge at some point. More new growth very everything is very bright green. Clones in FloraFlex plugs that were soaked in warer first are dying. Clones in FloraFlex plugs that went straight to plug has a root!!
