Hey all sorry for the late update. Got really busy with work and just wasnt uploading. I had to cull phat Gary cause she was a genetic herm, I’m talking pollen sacks all the way up the main stem. I’ve seen a few stress sacks here and there on the lowers but nothing like this. I added a video of it so you might know what to look out for. It’s my first experience with exotic genetix and while I have heard of them having herm issues before, I have never had anything quite like phat Gary. But, on the other hand, this Gary Poppins #2 is the best smelling plant I’ve ever had. She smells like a straight strawberry soda, just this very fizzy strawberry scent. It’s unreal. Gary Poppins #1 has a similar terp profile, but not as loud and she’s frosty as ever. Both the perm marker s1’s are identical. Both look exactly like the perm marker flower I’ve bought from seed junky in the past. Very lime green buds with light oranges hairs. Smells just like a permanent marker. Couldn’t be happier with how this run is going, well except Phat Gary. Still haven’t decided on Exotic Genetix yet. I guess we will wait and see how Blueberry Gary comes out, she’s currently in week 6 veg. Shout out to the mad scientist Jbeezy though, this perm marker is unreal. When I saw he was releasing s1’s I couldn’t believe it. Gonna wash this entire run for some fresh frozen. I would absolutely love to get this Gary Poppins #2 smell to transfer to some live rosin. Will update this when we finish and I’ll make a diary for blueberry Gary and Gastro pop from compound genetics when I get a chance. The plant was easy to grow overall .. it grew fast and a little on the tall side which had me nervous but I was able to raise the lights up just enough to finish, so it all worked out in the end. buds came out hard and frosty no complaints . This was a freebie seed too! didn’t expect it to come out as fire as it did man was i wrong. Straight fire 🔥 Ran into root rot in the beginning of veg but the great white and hydroguard saved my ass.🙏

Hey Cannafam hope you are well 💚, Its been another mixed week for my purple gal but lets start with the positive. This Lady is absolutely beautiful, i cant stop staring at alluring purpleness and im completely obsessed 💜 Bud developement has continued further this week and shes actually gained height by an inch from growth of her top cola. Secondry branches have continued to fill out and the smell has increased again, she now has what can only be described as roudy honk of forest fruits. I love the smell but she is not subtle and can be detected by nose at least 20 metres away! On the weather and the other side, we have had mainly dry weather with one day of rain on Monday. Yesterday i checked her and a bud site on the opposite side and down a tier had budrot which was removed, she was then inspected closely again and i found another lower down and again removed 😑 Her Trichs are now mainly cloudy and although i feel she needs a bit longer, ive started to flush today, this gals coming down soon as or i will lose more of this beauty. Ok so this week I did a defoliation and a tigh down too the netting , I really was not planning on doing such a big defoliation but the leafs became thick and dense and there was almost no light penitration down too the lower branches of the plant , so she is opened right up now and the humidity and temperature has dropped loads and the air is moving alot better around the leaves and branches , I will not take anything more off her now , I have also added Cal mag too the nutrients for this week only , I am very happy with them so far and being new too all this it's all very exciting , Thanks for looking :)

Hey Friends, end of week 13 from seed. This week i noticed colas are slightly getting thicker, but still a slower growth compared to my other plant (#2) I had to install some yoyos because some colas are falling to the side due to its weight Had trouble maintaining a steady humidity level Leaves are beginning to fade, not sure if its normal or because I increased light intensity this week Increased light intensity to 350 - 400 lux x100 Colas for some reason do not look thick enough and so far no amber on the trichomes, might need to wait Another week or two so I could begin flushing. Smell is stronger like green lemon mango, that weird smell it use to have is slowly going away. QUESTIONS So I planned a trip with my family on oct 9th, when booking the trip around 3 weeks ago I estimated that the plant would need another month before harvesting. Will this plant be ready for harvest before oct 9th? When should I begin Flushing ?

01/26 No pictures this week because I'm doing multiple days of time lapse photos. Next week should have some yummy vids and photos. Plants have been doing well. Topped all of the plants between 01/20-01/23, except Berry, which will get topped tonight. Berry has had a very strong rebound. Still very pale in comparison, but is showing strong vertical growth. Vigorous growth of lateral shoots in most plants except for one of the WW. (iirc, it's WW 3) The tallest WW with the widest node spacing has had extremely poor lateral growth, even at the topping site. Likely another 2-4 weeks before mothers will be a clone-ready, based on observed growth. I prefer DWC and haven't done soil for a very long time. It's shocking how much slower growth rate is in soil. A good thing in the long run, because pruning a mother plant in hydro is a PITA. At the same time, I want these plants to hurry up so I can toss clones into a SOG test. My plan is to take 2 clones of 4 plants and flower them all in one 14-gallon tote. 01/28 I had some issues with the timelapse because I didn't set the intervalometer correctly and it eventually went weird after running for over 36 hours and started taking pics every 5 minutes. Things have been fixed and I have add a video from 01/24. I am going to trim some fan leaves tonight and decided to flower 2 cuttings each from the two Bananas.

This is my second grow and first soil grow and @Apotforpot came in clutch with the super soil, all I had to do was add water no nutes. The strain is Exotic Seeds Black Haze and took 12 weeks from germination, the plant took a lot of abuse too with cold,high humidity, ect and it grew perfectly so thank you exotic seeds!!! I will be growing again I love this strain and everyone else does too. I want to thank everyone that commented and helped along the way I truly appreciate it! I hope everyone enjoys my journal
