The Case of the Overdosing Indica: Act II - Week 8, The Heat is On (and the Flowers Are MIA) Brandenburg's sunshine streak is back, relentless as a crooked cop on the make. Auto Overdose, bless her green heart, seems to be taking it all in stride. Though the growth's slowed to a crawl – just a measly 4cm this week. Not exactly setting any world records. And here's the kicker, folks. Still no sign of those flowers we were promised. Starting to think this "auto" label is about as reliable as a dame with a gambling habit. Maybe this dame's playing a long game, one that don't involve the fireworks I was promised. Had to give her a little tough love this week. Took out some of the deadwood – leaves yellowing at the edges, smaller branches reaching for sunshine they ain't gonna get. Gotta focus on the main event, right? This dame's starting to sweat under the pressure, and so am I. Stay tuned, folks, the plot's getting thicker than a bowl of undercooked porridge in a cheap diner.

I mean freaking 23 weeks... never again for shits and giggles. For a reveg it's a success. From potential 2g dried to maybe 14g is a good change. We will see the end result either way we got a few weeks left let's finish flushing her and getting ready for harvest!

A lot of spreading this week. They basically doubled in size if not more and are now starting to grow up. Due to this incredible growth I've cut some leaves of the bottom; they've just gotten over grown by other leaves and the top to let more light in.

Week 9 April 9 -a lot of progress since last weeks flip. She is stretching but it seems manageable right now prolly about to get crazy come next week -did a lil defoliation to open up bud sites to light but that’s all -number 85 and 86 stem rubs have that soap astringent smell to leave and are the loudest outta the bunch - 88 and 86 have great structure the side branches are coming up to fill in the net very well so looking at them for possible breeding in the future -while defoliating the purple stems bleed purple/purplish red. I thought sour d was strictly an all green plant but it may be because this is an f2 generation and these plants are showing recessive traits. We shall see -it’s strictly watering 2 times a week (Sunday and Wednesday) alternating between recharge, stash blend and FPJ. FPJ is top watered in to help break down organic amendments -Just switched to FPJ of a past harvest will use throughout flower to see if it makes a difference compared to PK booster

Well fam, the 'Beast From The East' is going strong, and so far has not encountered any issues with any bud rot but is showing signs of the beginnings of Septoria. Luckily, this far into flower it shouldn't be too much of a concern at this point. This late in our growing season I always worry about Boytris, especially with cultivars that have really dense and tightly grouped flowers as our weather is now turning cooler and wetter. 9/8- I'm continuing to water the Wedding Cheesecake FF in the mornings on days that we do not get any substantial rain with well water via the garden hose. Today I went through the plant and removed a bunch of old dead leaves, along with any shade leaves that were totally yellow. I did not water today as we had a good amount of rain yesterday and the soil is still really moist. 9/10- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the flowers continues. The aroma coming off of the Wedding Cheesecake FF is really loud now and you can definitely pick up some subtle hints of her Cheese lineage in it! 9/12- With Five weeks of flowers now behind her, the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower only has 2-3 more weeks to go (weather permitting) and she's on track to be an enormous yielding plant! For anyone just joining us, this run has been built on consistency. From seed to now, we’ve maintained stable environmental conditions — temperatures, humidity, feeding, and watering practices have remained unchanged because the plant has been responding exactly how we want. No need to fix what isn’t broken. This is key: progress doesn’t always come from doing more — sometimes it comes from doing less, but doing it right. ⸻ 👁️ What This Week Is This is a monitoring week. At this stage, the plant is fully focused on flower development. Buds are stacking, structure is defined, and now the priority shifts from pushing growth… to protecting it. Our role right now: * Stay consistent * Stay present * Stay observant We’re still hand watering, still giving them that direct attention, still reading the plant daily. Not reacting — interpreting. ⸻ ⚠️ What This Week Is NOT This is not the time for: * Big changes * Heavy feeding adjustments * Unnecessary stress And most importantly — this is not the time to “get bored” and start doing things just to feel productive. Because right now, overdoing is more dangerous than underdoing. ⸻ 🔍 The Importance of Observation Even if it looks like “nothing is happening”… everything is happening. This is where experience shows. We’re actively watching for: * Early signs of mold or bud rot * Humidity pockets within the canopy * Powdery mildew risks * Any late-stage deficiencies or imbalances Catching something early here makes all the difference. Waiting too long can cost the entire run. So yes — it might look calm. But this is one of the most active mental phases of the grow. ⸻ 🌿 Presence Over Action There’s something else here that doesn’t get talked about enough: Just being there matters. Walking into the room. Looking at them closely. Understanding their rhythm. You start noticing the small things — the details that don’t show up in charts or numbers. Defoliated a bit more, feeding sugar royal and green sensation. The smell is really coming through now.

Flowering is on for sure now with the stretching and hairiness arriving within the 1st few days of flipping. They have all been whacking the growth on and showing all of their potential budsites like stafish. FFT#1 is over the 60L pots edge now and has been tied into place for the vertical bud stacking. She feels very indica and is happy to stay lower. She is going to be an nice chunky squat girl at her end. FFT#5 has had a great week with her girth over-reaching the edges by a good way and also going way more vertical. I have been supercropping where needed with these big ladies and their recovery has been rapid. She has remained put after her sessions of bending to form a very nice 2ft×2ft canopy of heads. FFT#7 Has not stopped growing out in all directions since the flip. she is at the back sonhas a good amount of space to stretch out and hit a great yield i think. Her sativa genetics are really obvious with her vertical stretch already and I cannot wait to see the bud sets she makes. Theyballnhave a good amount of mode stacking readybforbthebbuds to join together and I am hoping they keep this tightness throughout the flowering period. I have a little tip burn on them but nothing too worrying. plain water for their next 2 weeks I think then another amendment run. These testers are knocking it out of the park so far with some amazing growth spurts and rapid recovery times. If the flowering is as good as the vegging ability , we have my new staple seed supplier !!!!. These are winners already for me , roll on harvest.
