I was pleasantly surprised by the yield from these 2. Plant #1 (back left this grow) yielded a whopping 4.79 ounces, my 2nd biggest producer this grow! #2 yielded 3.57 ounces, which while the lowest of the 4, is still an extremely respectable yield for a single plant in a 4 plant tent! Especially one that received as little attention as this one did. #2 remained resilient the entire grow, however due to the placement of my tent received the least amount of attention/defoliation, which is consistent with its yield. #1 was more easily accessible, and while it did have cal mag & ph issues early on, still received significant defoliation and care, hence the larger yield. Overall very happy with this strain, I have 3 of these seeds on hand, so there’s a good chance you’ll see another Critical Orange Punch diary from me in the future! July 20: 31 inches with a 16 cola manifold 👍😎. Definitely growing fast and has now pulled ahead of the 16 cola Bruce Banner Fast which is at 30 inches. Hot again today so a bit more water and a couple of mistings with hose water to cool off a bit and provide some humidity. One tomato plant that I realized had a potassium deficiency responded well to a potassium silicate foliar spray. You can learn some cool stuff growing dope. July 24: still growing fast and maybe starting to pre-flower which is fine cuz I’m starting the force flowering in a few days. This is just 12 h of darkness to get this photoperiod to start flowering. Yes, it’s a photoperiod plant from Fast Buds. And it’s awesome. Did another lazy compost tea which is just 5 gallon pail of water that’s sat out overnight to degas, two handfuls of mature compost, some molasses, kelp and Humic Blend, and finally a couple handfuls of shredded coco coir to give the bacteria some where to attach and grow. Leave overnight, maybe stir a couple times, but that’s all. 24-48 h maximum as you don’t want it going anaerobic (and stinky). After tea, she and the other girls got a nice top dressing of barley and Power Bloom with minor amounts of oyster shells (for calcium) and Azomite for trace metals. These are bloom nutrients in anticipation of the start of flowering this weekend. This has been the hottest 90 day period ever here in Edmonton, and lots of other places too.

These girls are getting bigger and bigger every day. I’d say week five is the beginning of pre-flower. I started with a very low dosage of nutrients to see how they will respond. I’ve had to tie them down quite a bit but it has helped branch out new nodes and Bud sites that are comparable in size to the main cola. With the small environment I’m growing in I’ve also had to do a large amount of leaf tucking. The EC and PH of the runoff was pretty spot on, I was around 800ppm, 1.6ec, and the ph was around 6.0. Overall I’d say that these plants are a hell of a lot happier than my other plants in the different medium. This is the Miller soils organic ammended soil, which is pretty decent but I prefer to control most of my grows so next time around I will be using either bio bizz light mix or light mix with 40%-50% coco and added perlite or pumice. I want to really see the full potential of these advanced nutrients products and see how they compare to other brands/amending with basic dry organics. I have so many seeds to play with so I will have a lot of diaries coming soon after these are harvested 😉

They, in turn, through their life processes take care of feeding the plant. Pretty freaking cool if I may say so, and there's no simpler way to grow IMHO 😎: 1: This Trainwreck's structure was perfect and didn't require me to top her, only requiring minimal LST and tucking shade leaves that were blocking light penetration. She grew fairly tall to 31" with wide node spacing allowing for excellent light penetration making her a growers dream, low maintenance, extremely tolerant of temperatures and disease/pests ) and a healthy yield of some epic super dense GASSY buds glistening with trichomes... What more could you ask for? 😍💖 All in all, this strain has made it's way onto my 'list' and you'll be seeing it run again by me for sure as she's a hard one to stay away from! Well its just past week three and the plant is full on flowering. I've been trimming Sucker branches and now it's time for the plant to start its autopilot journey. Nutrient changes and then harvest for these girls. Expect them to thicken up in about 2 weeks. Then continue to pack on the weight until the end of harvest.
