It became clear to me when I opened the tent two days ago. There they were, sticking out one of the main cola’s, it was almost impossible to miss them: 2 bright lime green banana’s. It was like the little dicks were smiling to me. I immediately removed them and search all the plants thoroughly multiple times for more, but didn’t found one. So, I guess I’m now a member of the ‘hermies club’. As for the cause: I suspect light stress. The light was close on the canopy, a little closer than (for example) dr. Cocoforcannabis recommends for this light. I found the two banana’s on Jannine and the bud that had them, is the one that’s almost in the middle of the tent, where the light is the brightest. The plant on the left, Kim, was also showing some foxtailing on her highest buds. Hence, I raised the lights 6-7 centimeters. Hopefully, I took away the cause of the hermies; off course, I’m keeping a sharp eye on the buds, but I haven’t found any more than those two. Also, EC of the drain tends to go up, hence every few days, I now just give them plain pH’ed water, to prevent high EC spikes. The trichomes are developing nicely. I bought a jeweler's loupe to study them, because with my USB microscope it’s almost impossible to get a clear picture (I don’t have a steady hand). The girls are 7 weeks into flower: there are no amber trichomes, but most trichomes are partly cloudy (30~50%) and a minority is still fully clear. I guess two more weeks before harvest, maybe 1,5 week. I switch to GHE Ripen later this week. I didn’t use such a product during my first grow, so I’m curious to see if it does something good. Besides the two (hopefully sterile) banana’s, the plants look and smell great. Thanks for stopping by, stay safe & keep growing!

Buenas a tod@s....🏻‍♂️ Bueno esta fue la última semana de gestación para las critical, están bastante bien, las veo parejas, fuertes, uniformes al crecimiento prácticamente, más alla de alguna hojita media fea en aspecto van muy bien, controlando mucho la temperatura en esta época del año q hace más frío, lo demás van muy bien... 2024.09.12 D64 Its been two busy week, as i trim the 1 pond mother, get aknowledge that my wife use my grow sniper two pruned is badly infested rose bush, since 2 week and never proper clean it whith alcool.😱😱😱😷 in result a massive PM & mithe contamination in my grow tent... 😱😭😷😭 all plant have been shoot with H2O2 at 0.5% and set ouside for 2 day, wich turn to be rainy as f***, until i clean and serilized everything, twice and run the hepa filter .😷😰 the plant look ok, lightly over wartered, but no more pest or PM sign as they return in the tent.. 3 days later PM hardly bonce back, no choice to use more agressive treatment so they all have been shoot with saffer's defender 3 in 1. after 3 shoot in 24h and another tent desinfection we should have get rid of it 🙏 8 day laters everything look fine👍, all damage leaf have been removed, i also prune some unrelevant lower and inner grow

Plants continued to grow well some plants show signs of nutrient deficiencies, trying to address it without burning all the other plants. But besides that all looks good and we ready to flip to flower. 12/12 cycle to start. Clones looking strong and ready to be replanted as mothers for the next batch of clones / SOG

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. She growing very well, her main stem was 4mm thick on day 13 which means that plant left the seedling stage and she's thick enough to top it, to make 4 main nodes instead of 1 (topping autoflower is risky it may stunt your grow) you can aways try LST Don't forget to use a small fan for air circulation On day 12 distance from the light is 36cm (14") 640PPFD No nutrients has been added, only water PH 5.8 - 6.0 Water your plant only if the top 5cm (2") of your soil feels dry if it's still wet leave it alone.

So at the start of week 3 I began to LST CM#3 to just experiment basically and topped CM#2 I believe. Again, just to experiment. This is my first grow and I was stunned with the reactions to both! The new growth after topping was about 1/4” in about 12hrs.. Crazy to me and the lst is proving to expose these bud sites and encourage amazing growth QUICK!! I’ll continue to train daily. One of the videos show the topped CM just yesterday. In 4 days, it’s grown soo much! Also, a video mentions the gender reveal but since then, all 4 have officially revealed themselves as female at the 22 day mark.

Week 10 going well, Gelato is thriving.. what beautiful looking plant.. tall, with many branch sides, full of buds, everywhere 😍 the smell is getting stronger each day and it’s full of trichomes, frosty one.. I am really impressed by these 2 of genetics from barneys(gelato and sour d) but to be honest all genetics I have grown from them never disappoints.. all really good ones.. barneys farm coming hot on my tents.. let’s go

End of week 9 One word - Voluptuous! The neighbours are definitely smelling it now, luckily the terpene profile on all of these plants make it smell more like a citrus farm. Another smooth sailing week and I have noticed some of the ladies are drinking less and the leaves are fading more and more every day. I am preparing for harvest as the girls are almost screaming to be cut down but I’ll be patient. I’ll be using my grow tent as the drying room because I can keep the environment in check. Making sure all my effort is not ruined by a rookie mistake such as not drying properly. Removed some dead leaves and thats about it. I’ve basically just been checking my PH and watering through this entire grow. It’s cool being easy and easy being cool!

Start of week four and things are looking great! Girls recovered from day 21 defoliation. I’m pretty sure I did mess up and didn’t leave enough nodes, but only time will tell! Buds look delicious but not much of a smell yet

There really is only 4 auto plants in there!! Lol 😆😆

Only had a 7 day dry. Lots of fluctuations in humidity as setup was not complete during time of harvest.

Hey guys we've got a new grow going and I'm really excited about this one. We'll be growing this wedding cake outdoor in promix feeding synthetic nutrients with GH Trio all summer long.
