You can really see how the lights shine in comparison to my older ones. The brightness of the leds is next level and I can use their V1 spectrum from seed to harvest. Its a great balance of red and blue in a full spectrum light. The medic grow mini sun 2 is a all purpose light that I can see myself getting lots of use out of in the future. Plus they fit in my tent just as snug as my last ones and that's a big thing for me, I don't like dim corners. I am using the lights at 80% dim level. this will be raised to 100% when they enter flower :D First time useing lights I can dim. they also have an onboard timer attached to them, I will be playing aorund with this to see if its something I want to use in the coming weeks, I all ready have all the external timers so I can see how this is a useful tool for anyone starting off without them. On top of all this I also transplanted my plants into their final pots. they went from a .7-.8L to a 2gal or 7.5L, all the root balls on the plants where perfect, nice white roots, maybe a bit compacted for the size and might explain why I am having some issues with them but healthy none the less. I think they will not start to grow a bit better and I will see less issues moving forward. I still have yet to get a new PH pen but I am blindly guessing the PH by adding 2 drops of phosphoric acid ph down per 1gal of feed solution. it seems to be working out just fine. This is the last week I gave veg nutrients, from next week my little girls will get flowering nutrients for the first time. These girls are growing much faster than I was expecting, It’s good to see how healthy are they. :) By the way these plants smell incredibly strong! Usually during vegetation they don’t smell too much, but this plant is an exception. They smell as they are already producing buds for a couple of weeks.

Blue Dream Auto has grown a little, but I think more was going on in the coco mix. I imagine she will make some progress this next week. She looks healthy and she is getting nutrition with the darker shade of green development in her leaves. 02/04/2022 Day 5 41days old and starting to show their genders, next week will be less plants for sure, identity of a couple males confirmed. Once all girls are confirmed it's straight to flower room.😁 Grape skunk potted up she's tall girl compared to other confirmed grape skunk.

i Think this will be the last week

Day 1 Never grown before, but always liked plants. Especially plants like these 😊 Seeds came today. Only one will be grown for now (Bloody Skunk Auto). The seed was slightly scraped (purposefully), and then placed in distilled water. Seed sank to the bottom with a little push after 6 hours. Hopefully that's a good sign :) Seed was then taken and put into rooting medium. Currently lights are on 24/0 to warm the area surrounding the seed. Tomorrow temperature/humidity measurement will be set up. Day 2 Was able to measure the temperature. It's about 22 C. Natural humidity is a bit low in the area (35%), so a humidifier is being used occasionally to increase that. Seed has sprouted now (15 hrs after being put in the rooting medium), maybe in two days there will be some real growth 😊 Day 3 Root looks like it's off to a good start. Positioning seems a bit off though. Will keep an eye on it for the next couple of days. Day 4 There was a surprise waiting today 😁 Plant pushed through the piece of sponge at the top without a problem apparently. The light has been switched to a 125W 5500K CFL, for now without any reflector. A bit worried that this might be too strong, especially for a seedling. However there aren't other 5500K or higher Kelvin value lamps available, so going with this one for a couple of days. If there are problems, will go back to just a collection of 2700K bulbs and hope the plant survives haha. Got a heating pad, so now the temperature is being kept around a comfortable 73-76 F. Night temperatures should drop to around 66-68 F. Lighting schedule has been switched to a 20/4 schedule, to allow for better plant development. Will probably stay with this schedule for the first couple of weeks. Could also see the taproot poking out of the Root!t sponge. Not sure if that's going to bad for this root to be exposed to light at this stage. Once (if) the leaves start to get wider than the Root!t sponge the plant and sponge will be transplanted to a small 1 Liter pot. If the roots continue growing but the plant stays stunted then it will also be transplanted. Andddd....got nervous about the 125W lamp. Decided to switch it out for the previous lights (two LEDs, two CFLs, all at 2700K). Total lux value is about 10000 measured by the seedling. Seemed also like the seedling might have been craving some water, so gave it a few drops. It hadn't been watered since being planted. Hopefully not over-watering here... Day 5 Seedling has grown by another centimeter. Leaves haven't really changed that much. Nevertheless, decided to put the seedling in a slightly larger container. The cup was taken and filled with some potting soil (Compo Sana Anzuchterde) and the Root!t sponge put into that. Did this because the tap root was poking even further out of the sponge and didn't like that. Gave some more water, mainly in the lower section of the soil. Will not water again for a few days unless it seems really too dry. Don't want to over-water 😑 Day 6 Seedling doubled in height. Starting to get concerned about stretching. Read conflicting information about the optimal humidity for seedlings, but most seemed to say that less was better, and a humidity dome not necessary after sprouting. One source suggested that seedlings stretch when under a humidity dome. So that's been removed. Switched to the 125W lamp as well in case the seedling was stretching because of not enough light. Added a fan for a breeze to occasionally move the seedling...hopefully this will make the stem a bit sturdier. First set of leaves has begun to develop a bit more..but it seems a bit slow. Might just be being impatient 😄 Day 7 Not much has changed. Soil is getting to be dry enough where watering again should be ok. So that will be done tomorrow morning, with a small amount of BioBizz RootJuice.

Week 11, & the End of 4 weeks of flowering (30 Days of 12/12) Welcome back to our regular scheduled programming.... Like I mentioned we are officially 30 days into our 12/12 lighting cycle. Now taking into consideration that this is one of the first runs of this particular strain the flower period is partially undetermined, I will be guessing based on Lineage of the parents, & following her closely towards the end to ensure my desired trichome ripeness. Katsu's HotCake's run's Approximately 8-9 Weeks & The Grape Ape run's slightly quicker at 7-8 Weeks You can certainly tell the difference between all 5 plants, I'm very glad I took cuts of everything ! as plants 2 & 3 are certainly the keepers of the bunch.. plant 2 showing some very cool fall colours already (emerson effect hitting strong asf) She is already starting to purple up & smells Very Sweet. My guess is this pheno leans more to the Grape Ape side. As far as plant 3 is concerned I can smell heavy Kush aromas emulating off her already, & based on her flowering structure I believe this pheno leans more Katsu Bubba. but we'll have to wait and see. A Minor amount of leaf plucking this week should be noted.. It will probably be the last time I mess with them, its time to start swelling up. It is my opinion that most of the stretch has been completed & i'm now looking at the final colas minus the couple weeks of filling out of course. As this is the end of four weeks of flower(12/12) Their food will be increased during the next feeding, thus far i've been impressed with the ease of this strain.. I wasn't sure what to expect to be honest but I will say this I was weary of over-feeding but all of them seem to enjoy heavy feedings. Completamos una excelente semana de cultivo. Las plantas muestran un estado de salud envidiable, con un vigor que supera las expectativas. Sin embargo, esta semana me sirve de aprendizaje: identifiqué un error de cálculo en la preparación del reservorio. ​Debido a una confusión en el volumen (calculando para 30 litros cuando el tanque es de 15), estuve aplicando el doble de la dosis de Power Buds de Plagros. Week 10 in the books. She's making some nice bushy flowers. Trichomes just started forming.

26.12.24: These are my 2 best plants P1 and P2 Purple Punch, they are looking great! Not sure what happened to P3. They are in early flower/ pre-flower with the pistils clearly seen on P2. I am also hoping to tie some of the branches down to help light penetration on the lower canopies. I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

Final Week — The Last Rite of Eldritch Gardens Every garden tells two stories. One is written in triumph. The other is written in sacrifice. As the final week dawned upon Eldritch Gardens, I believed there was still one more chapter of quiet ripening left beneath the false suns. The trichomes had reached a beautiful state, shimmering like frozen stars across the flowers. Most had turned a cloudy, ghostly white, while the first scattered amber heads began to appear among them. The harvest was near. The ancient ritual had almost reached its natural conclusion. It began with Plant #1 — The Fat One. The mightiest cola of the entire expedition, a colossal crown measuring nearly seven centimeters across, revealed a hidden corruption at its heart. There had been no obvious signs from the outside. Only a handful of sugar leaves had withered unnaturally, surrendering with the slightest touch. Inside... The ancient enemy had already arrived. Botrytis. The Silent Rot. The Devourer of Giants. The greatest flower of the season had become its first victim. Not long after, another discovery followed. Plant #2 — The Battered One — had also fallen prey, though only a single cola bore the same unseen corruption. It was enough. The decision could no longer wait. No cultivator truly chooses the day of harvest. Though I had hoped to grant the chosen two another week beneath the artificial constellations, the risk had become too great. Every additional day offered the mold another opportunity to spread through months of careful work. So the ritual would end. Not because the flowers had failed... But because protecting what remained had become the greater victory. Looking back upon this journey, there are lessons written far more deeply than any nutrient schedule or breeder's calendar. The great heat wave tested the garden and left scars that would only reveal themselves weeks later. The early flush, begun in anticipation of an earlier finish, likely hastened the fading of the leaves and left the plants with fewer reserves than they might otherwise have carried into these final days. Yet despite these trials, the flowers matured beautifully. Plant #1 became everything I had hoped for—a magnificent expression of fruit wrapped in overwhelming gas, rich with strange chemical whispers that lingered long after the tent was closed. Plant #2 answered with unwavering strength, its unmistakable diesel character standing proudly beside its sister until the very end. The garden did not end in perfection. The seeds were chosen. The weak were sacrificed. The survivors endured the infernal heat. The flowers swelled beneath the false stars. The mold claimed its tribute. And still... The harvest would come. The next chapter shall no longer speak of growing. It shall speak of drying. Of curing. And finally... Of awakening the ancient essence hidden within The Gassy One. For every story in Eldritch Gardens must eventually answer the only question that truly matters: What dreams await within the smoke?

Hello growers Been battling winter temperatures this week so moved this girl into the warmer tent. Got as cold as 16° inside the tent during the day (outside was 6-7°) for the past week. Growth might have been stunted a little bit but did my best to keep temps up without having to install heaters inside the tent. She now has a purple light to finish off her flowering run. Edit: added two of the 200w lego panels to help fight the cold weather. See you next year 😉

17.3.25: I've starred a Hulkberry auto. This was the first pack of seeds I bought! I realised it was mostly sativa, but now I'm ready to give it a go! Made my soil mix, which I will update next week. 🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.
