Everything was going well in the first week, but unfortunately, a mistake caused stress in the plant. The distance between the lamp and the plant was too short. This week, I gave the plants a small amount of root growth stimulant

Mar 28th - plants have been moved into 1 gal pots - gently watered-in the plants to get them through the transplant - DynoMyco was sprinkled into the 1 gallon pots ahead of the transfer, and the Solo Cups Root-Ball, was also sprinkled with Myco, making sure any exposed roots made good contact Mar 29th - a watering program begins tonight, Its posted above, next on 31st (day 3) - p.m. feeding saw 400 ml h20 per plant. (First Official feeding and there is no containment for any water leaving the pots… i held-back 100ml ea. just to see if the Pots leaked… all good for now x 30) Mar 31 - day 3 of the watering cycle; 350ml tonight (posted above) - petals are big enough on the true leaves; foliar spray @ lites-out - measured Soil pH, found it to be 7.1; Future waterings will be ~ 6.2-6.3 to help bring the soil pH a little lower towards mid 6’s Apr 4 - watering tonight ~ 250ml ea - topped-up the Soil in each Pot. Hey Diary! Just wrapped up week 5 of my green project, and we're fully in the blooming stage now! 🌸 Out plant has stretched up beautifully. It seems to be enjoying life just as much as I am. Here's the weekly rundown: Automated Watering: This is cool! I've set up an automated watering system that I can control through a Telegram bot. Hello, technology! 🤖💧 Defoliation: Last week, we did some defoliation, trimming off the unnecessary leaves. This helped the plant focus more on flowering. Sometimes less is more, right? All plants are doing great, we did decide to flush and PH runoff, everything looks good..The Gorilla are a lighter shade than the rest (a little hard to see under the lights) after some reading we learned this is a genetic trait and our attempts to get them a shade darker has resulted in a few burnt tips so we've backed off on the addition nitrogen and are now sticking to out typical flower feeding schedules. These buds are insanely frosty with 2-3 more weeks to go, they look almost furry to the touch.. i'm already convinced this Seedsman Peyote crosses are going to make some of the best tincture we've had in a while! We'll probably cut all nutrients at the end of this week and let them finish on what's already present in the media.. trichomes are roughly 70% clear (30% cloudy) atm and we'll check again early next week! Hello. I've harvested the Mega Mouth. WOW!!! I'm very impressed with this strain. Over 1.5 k for 5 plants. and it was finished by Aug 20 with the tents help. I'm trying some new (for me) categories to add to my report. Plant Stretch (PS) 1 to 5- 1 is hardly any stretch. Bud Mutation (BM) 1 to 5- 1 is a beautiful normal bud- 5 is big weird growths like foxtails. Trim- How easy or hard it was to trim up 1- you blow on the branch and hang it up. 5- Is very hard to trim takes a long time. About- Best guess on the THC % (I've been smoking a long time) Resin- 1 is super slippery 5- is very sticky like Gorilla Glue. Size of Buds (SOB) 1- is very small 5- is the biggest buds Dense- 1- is the lightest or fluffiest 5- is the rock hard buds your bud buster has trouble busting up. Plant #1 Wet Trim 1647 g PS. 3.5 BM 3.5 Trim 4 About 21% Resin 4 SoB 4 Dense 4 Finished Dry Weight 289.5 g or 10.33 oz. There was some pests around. I found thrips damage in veg and got some Spinosad to take care of that. Saw some fungus gnats around but they didn't do much damage. Easy to grow and trim. Day 43/Flower Day 15 - Stretch, stretch and more stretch. Literally have all my headspace taken up and thats using flat LED Bars! Its not for want of light, these things HAVE to be getting a DLI over 45 now if not near 50 (I need to do a test)!!! Defs going to invest in 2 Royal Blue LED Bars for next grow. As soon as I bend over/tie down one set of big pushers, another pair start up that were not being shaded/shadowed by the previous set. Worried too with the stretch being as severe, the yield will suffer! As noted in comments, will be venting the building the grow tent is in better very soon but when I can get that done is another thing!!! Looks like I am going to have to pull my extraction out of the tent and run a blow through the carbon filter and get some more ratchet hangers to give me an extra 9-12"!!! Has to be Heat/Humidity and then the feed from the lights giving them what they need. Luckily, I am due to be receiving a 6" AC Infinity Setup tomorrow so may be the way to set it up just for the last 8 weeks of the grow. Also had 2 brand new RAM 7" Oscillating fans pack up within a few hours of each other...not 4 weeks old and they're done! The Sweet Cherry Pie defs not setting buds as quick as the Red Hot Cookies...they look a few days to a week behind. This also probably means the last of growing different strains in the same tent! I don't have the space/means to set up a drying tent and need to use the grow space for that so need them to finish the same time. Both these are supposed to be a same week finisher but with the slower budset, I don't know (@Kagonisss, did you notice a difference in the bud setting between the Red Hot Cookies and the Sweet Cherry Pie???) - I could over-ripen the RHC or take the SCP when a bit under. Basically, that's it though. Nothing more to report other than things I have to engineer to get around! From the looks of it, I'll have no room to get my UVB tube in when the time comes but, dunno...we'll see. Have upped the Bloom Nutes now to be higher than the base to fuel the initial flower set. Have a bit of lower leaf fall off from lack of light/plants using the reserves and probs going to have to do a bit of a defoliate by the end of the week to settle humidity and have them top buds concentrated on. Apart from that, Happy Growing all!!! 💪

DAY 56 flowering: Hi all and welcome to any new visitors too. We are at the near end point now with this 1st run of the viparspectra xs1500. It has been a very pleasant experience and also a humbling one too. I never expected the performance it has proven and initially thought I would struggle to find a practical way of incorporating it into my set up and to see what it had got to offer. Deciding to go the route I have was more driven by the lights abilities to perform wat better than I anticipated. The 5 seedlings soon became 5 big ladies that would have been impossible to squeeze under the 2x2 flowering coverage They did however, get an amazing start right up to flowering beginning before I had to choose who stayed under the xs1500. The 2 that I mainly diary for the lights ability are the focus of the journal but I have to include a little on the other strains due to their initial support from the light and to also include the Gorilla cookies as they are amazing plants. They are both so close to ready now and sadly one of the mains has been hit with an little bud rot from its density. The buds smell so candy sweet now too. I will be keeping a very vigilant eye on these now. Grandaddys mimosa had continued her swelling from using the #Shogun Dragon force and is a perfect example of how the product works in the final 2 weeks of flowering , when usually they are fading out to finish. The buds have doubled in girth with an absolutely solid feel to them too . The light has helped create some very hard buds. No signs of whisky popcorn at all and each stack is a solid spike of flowering plant. For such a squat girl, she is so impressive. She smells so fruity with a hint of citrus to her and she is engulfing all the leaves that had been poking out previously. I think she will be a surprise yield next week !. The Northern lights girls are both doing really well too with the #2 mutant starting to ripen up finally now. She is still way taller than her sister but has sone long node gaps. #1 is totally different, she is a spiked monster compared and her colas are taking on a nice pale orange colour as they ripen. I do think she will go another week before being ready to consider harvest. She is still so fresh looking in a lot of places that I dont want to rush her at all. The light has managed to penetrate deep enough into the plant to create long spiked colas with no issues down low in the canopy with whispy popcorn to mention either. This is a very positive point to mention as some l.e.d do not get the penetration needed to do more than create a top canopy with poor light reaching deeper and not supplying the par they need. This light does not have that issue by a long shot. It penetrates like "Dirk diggler" and reaches all those important ladies parts !!!.... I am most impressed by the mimosa so far and as a 1st gen cross auto of a mimosa lemon Male sacks and a random multi strain seeding from its pollen release , I have ended up with a good amount of crossed autos from trusted and stable strains. It can be fun growing these out and so far this is the 3rd from the batch that I have successfully run. Aside from the benefits of the end products we get , the journey we go on can be an amazing and eye openening experience. If you start to investigate how these plants really live , love and die and how they use the network of available systems to communicate and build our much loved bud factories , you will find it hard to climb out of that rabbit hole . Finding out that fungi is not the man everyone wants to party with but IS a complex communication system used in nature to meet the needs of the whole forest/fauna in unison is life changing !!!!!. At day 57, they are now going into a 48hr dark period before harvesting . I did have a couple of bud rot issues in one or two buds due to the density of their growth. I am hoping to keepnot at bay during the low and slow dry after trimming wet this time. I will update their yield ect once they finish. Pics dont do them justice and they smell so sweet. Moby Dick XXL Overview- Growth ~ *Grown under a spider farmer sf2000 only in a 4x4 tent* Initial Veg period was 5 weeks. I did not top her and I performed very minimal LST/ defoliation. I started her right of the bat with the microbials (Mammoth P/ Recharge) and then later added my NFTG feed int week 4. She really started to explode in growth in week 4/5. I honestly did not notice one yellow leaf up until the very end when I started to flush her. This strain is very very tolerant I would say and grows HUGE. I started seeing signs of flowering in week 6 and it was history from there! She exploded with even more growth nearly doubling its size in flower (3.5 ft to be exact) and she grew many massive colas slammed with milky trichomes and dank smells! Buds grow long and slender as opposed to small/dense like golf balls. Nutrients ~ She was potted into a 6-gal fabric airpot w/ M3 soil. Like I do with most my plants I started her slowly with just microbial feeds (w/Mammoth P and Recharge) and I did not start using my main nutrient line (Nectar for The Gods) until week 4. I really like using a foliar spray to feed also. I kept a simple feed schedule with this one and it worked out really well. I try to follow this schedule (Shown below) as close to possible with some obvious interruptions to it here and there. Microbe tea /VEG ONLY*foliar spray No Water Feed /VEG ONLY*foliar spray Microbe tea No Water /VEG ONLY*foliar spray No Water or Flush (every two weeks) Aroma/Taste ~ One of my favorite parts about this plant was its aroma. Very pine like but sharp and unique . Its described an exotic wood smell and I definitely get that. Its so refreshing and earthy it’s a VERY nice change of pace from the fruitier strains. You do get a slight citrusy smell but the pine/ wood smell is really the overpowering smell. It is by far the smelliest auto I have ever grown so I really really respect how well of a job Dinafem did on these genetics. They obviously didn’t just focus on the size of the plant! She has a nice smooth flavor that is earthy and sharp . The wood flavors linger a bit which is very nice! Effects~ Almost instantly felt it in my head. Blessed with a euphoric feeling of calmness and almost a numbness to reality. I felt it for sure and it was very potent. 1 joint had me feeling it very hard and th high lasted what felt like an hour or so which is not the case for me usually! Its attributed to the sativa dominance this plant has. Im so used to growing hybrids or indica dom plants I almost forgot what sativa highs felt like! Thanks Moby Dick XXl for slapping me in the face and reminding me!! Overall thoughts~ This plant is really easy to grow, and she stays true to her name and grows massive. This strain should be tried by any auto lover 100% I think Dinafem nailed this strain all across the board. Was pleasantly surprised with how tolerant to nutrients/ light she is. I had the light closer than suggested most her flowering and she didn’t stress at all. I cant really come up with a negative thing to say about this plant, maybe the buds are airy but that’s because she is very sativa dominant it was a bastard to trim her for sure. Drying/ Curing method~ -Dried for 11 days in a low humidity environment/ completely dark area with good airflow. Hung her as an entire plant with all the leaves still on her. -Dry trimmed her (very hard strain to trim) -Put right into mason jars and sealed shut for 3 days then began burping her (I am not using boveda ***) -Burped twice a day for 2 weeks straight and maintained 60-62 humidity. -Slowed down burping to once a night the third week .
