Great colour coming into the buds and decent thiccc factor coming it. Very similar in smell profile/build structure to the Purple Lemonade Auto from @Fast_Buds. Not as fat overall in terms of buds yet but the base is there for a very strong finish in the final weeks. Gave all the plants mostly water feeds this week in order to avoid salt build up. Some staining on the bottom of the fabric pots from the bottom feeds so just making sure the soil is fine for the final major nute feeds before flushing in a week or so. Has a lot of bud sites on the main cola adding to the chonk but will need to give the sugar leaves a pre trim before the final bulk to avoid bud rot/mold. Seems very dense in there. Other than that, the new @MarsHydroLED TSL 2000 and @ViparSpectraLED PS1500 for veg definitely made a huge difference and the buds on the Dark Devil. Day 84. She’s huge and growing bulkier each day it seems. I try to rotate her because she has grown over the light. She’s a slow finisher. But I’m hopeful of what she will become and how she will smoke.

Final phase, just water and environment control. A lot of damaged, stained and discoloured leaves. Not sure if related to the fert switching. All in all, they are looking good. Harvest week incoming.

Week 3 flowering for the Green Papaya from the super sativa seeds club. All looking good at the moment, the buds are showing a nice layer of snow on the buds, very sweet and fruity, we love the Green Papaya. We did a complete defoliation already and will do some maintenance here and there.

An amazing week 7 is about to start Sunday

Day 27 I will switch the light to 12/12 so we will start flowering tomorrow. All is going well she growing very nice and no issues so far. We are work on large strong stems 💪 VPD is setup on 1.1 now. Watering 500ml everyday.

I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 70 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Week 9 is here and we are looking at harvesting! After checking the trichomes of just the top colas, I decided this week I was going to harvest. I am updating this post after I have dried and harvested the plant so do not have much more details. I flushed the plant this week with Flora Kleen along with terpinator and microbes. I cut down the plants and hung them up in the tent to dry using a clothes hanger with clips I got off of Amazon. It took 10 days to dry the bud and my temps and humidity would fluctuate throughout the day and night. I stayed in the mid to low 70s for temperature and humidity was at 50% at first. Then I added a humidifier and had it dry in 60% humidity. Will update the rest in the harvest update.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Flowers are starting to stack, all at different rates due to different phenotypes. I've given up trying to feed them all according to their different needs, they react unpredictably. Some are hungry and eating their bottom leaves while others look to be overdosing on nitrogen. I am now applying standard doses of dilute fish mix and normal dose bio-bloom to all plants. I think it will probably be a staggered harvest. The sativa pheno is likely to take the longest, with the hybrid pheno being the quickest. Indica pheno somewhere in the middle.

Día 15. Las plantas ya alcanzaron un altura muy buena. Ya empiezan a aparecer los primeros pelos blancos. Por el momento me ha sorprendido la reacción de las plantas al bud blood. Si puedo voy a comprar bud candy para ayudar un poco a la mezcla. Por el momento decidí mantener el bud blood a media dosis durante una semana más con el big bud. Veremos que tal resulta. Día 17. El estirón siguió y las plantas alcanzaron 51 cm. Las pequeñas directamente quedaron tapadas. En este experimento se puede ver la diferencia entre tierra e hidroponia. La verdad que estoy sorprendido. Creo que los productos usados son los que han marcado la diferencia. Las plantas quintuplicaron la altura total que tenían al momento de pasarlas a floración. Y sospecho que van a seguir estirándose una semana más. Espero no tener problemas de altura porque no lo planeaba. Creo que voy a cortar algunas ramas bajas más, dado que se están generando muchas sombras nuevas. Seguiré actualizando. Día 19. El estiramiento continua, pero levemente. Ya alcanzaron 55cm. Estuve cortando algunas ramas y hasta supongo que podría cortar más. Pero a esta altura ya todo lo que hay recibe buena luz. La diferencia entre la madre que está en tierra y los esquejes en hidroponia, es cada vez más notoria. Si bien ya la he visto, tener una planta al lado de la otra bajo la misma luz, hace la parte alevosa de todo esto. De todos modos, he comprobado que el sabor obtenido en tierra, es más fiel al de la hidroponia. En hidroponia en principio, las plantas son mas fuertes en todo, pero el sabor de alguna forma, es demasiado afectado por los nutrientes. Incluso habiendo lavado dos o tres semanas, la planta sostiene un sabor constante en todas las variedades, que parece estar atado a la nutrición. Siendo que en tierra, cada variedad tiene su sabor distintivo, siendo una distinta de otra. La próxima actualización será en la nueva semana, ya que al quedar poca solución, la voy a cambiar antes y voy a poner 12 litros en lugar de los 10 que vengo usando. Las plantas vienen comiendo mucho.
