Week 9 is here and we are looking at harvesting! After checking the trichomes of just the top colas, I decided this week I was going to harvest. I am updating this post after I have dried and harvested the plant so do not have much more details. I flushed the plant this week with Flora Kleen along with terpinator and microbes. I cut down the plants and hung them up in the tent to dry using a clothes hanger with clips I got off of Amazon. It took 10 days to dry the bud and my temps and humidity would fluctuate throughout the day and night. I stayed in the mid to low 70s for temperature and humidity was at 50% at first. Then I added a humidifier and had it dry in 60% humidity. Will update the rest in the harvest update.

We’re approaching the finish line — the top buds are already nearly perfect. I’m just giving the lower ones a few more days before putting her into a 48-hour dark phase.

Green Gelato was chopped on day 75, this pheno has a strong aroma of sunset sherbet which is divine to the nose. Dense boulders from top to bottom of the stems. So far I’m happy with the gelato, she will get a dry and a really slow cure finished with a boveda humidity pack at 62%. Looking forward to the finished product. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. 420Fastbuds-Week 2 Papaya Cookies Auto These girls have definitely rooted and started upward. They're about 3in tall and showing daily growth. I stopped watering by spraying the soil and started hand watering 250-500ml daily. I use calmag 5ml/gal every feeding. So far they've responded well and I look forward to the weeks to come. I was extremely happy with this grow. I was aiming for 1 lbs and I achieved 1.43 lbs total. The strain is a simple grow for anyone that can keep the environment on point. They are susceptible to pests, so a bit of previous experience in treating bugs is a plus. There seems to be either a rogue strain or a very special pheno within my garden. One plant showed a deep purple color starting in week 5 of flower. It grew out to some stanky and solid golf ball sized colas. Im keeping this stuff separate for the cure, as it is exotic looking and smokes like a dream. The Scroggernaut performed well. I was initially concerned that I would have issues trying to grow a scrog next to a free form. However, keeping diligent on the LST/HST right through midway flower made sure that the canopies were fairly level, and no ladies went missing valuable lumens, and none got light burnt. All in all, the Scroggernaut worked well and allowed me the flexibility of moving unscrogged plants, and with the extra space, made for easy watering of the scrogged plants. Harvest results: Plant 1 = 246g wet, dried to 64g Plant 2 = 345g wet dried to 103g Plant 3 = 338 g wet dried to 93g Plant 4 = 256g wet dried to 64g Plant 5 = 248g wet dried to 63g Plant 6 = 240g wet dried to 75g Plant 7 = 330g wet dried to 91g Plant 8 = 302g wet dried to 88g Improvements for next round include: 1) Increasing grow room size 2) Will raise the height of the scrog by 6 inches or so to help with comfort during watering 3) Will likely run Hempy buckets next to soiless mix and compare the growth rates 4) Will grow 1 extra week in veg I want to thank the GrowDiaries community, and especially the creators of the site for allowing me to share my grow with the world.
