I felt things were going well, and didn't want to jinx it.... however my time has come for the next level of challenges. This week things were looking great, but then I saw some leaves having discolored spots. I looked under the microscope and saw it was the leaf, didn't think much more of it. Next day, more spots, so I investigated. looking again with the microscope, I found the devil! Spider mites! So, I sprayed greencleaner on them at light shutoff... and the following day plant does not look too good. Looks dry and light burned. So I moved the lights up, they were not a problem before and the plant had stopped stretching this week. hopefully I this will go away, but I need to spray tomorrow to keep with the schedule, hope it does not dry out y plants as much this time! However looking at the bugs again, they are dead! I also lollypopped the girls, however since I am a noob, I could have trimmed more, but it makes me nervous of taking off too much, so maybe a few days I will take some more off, or just watch the dead leaves closer, and will clear daily...

Day 120 Smells good buds are fatter and looking better then I thought last week, I flushed but I think I may have caused nutrient burn or nitrogen since my stems have turned purple also along the buds and tips or ideas of what I should try thanks Day 127 photos at the bottom

The second week of vegetation is over and watching the plant grow is a rewarding experience for me. Now that the plant is well-established, it is time to begin training it. This involves LST to ensure it reaches its full potential in this case. I look forward to discovering what this plant will become 😋😊

Week 8 for Moby Dick by fastbuds, Been getting a few spiders webs here & there on this plant... i don't think its spider mites but staying on the look out encase it is. Aphid situation seems to be well handled ATM after i sprayed some organic pesticide on the plant & some much stronger stuff in the surrounding area like i mentioned i planned on doing on last weeks update. Been defoliation very little on this plant just the stuff making shade on the flower growth areas. 😎

Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. Die Blüten wurden zur Hälfte nass getrimmt. Die Trocknung erfolgte im Growzelt mit Ventilator und Abluft bei einer Temperatur von 22 Grad Celsius und einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von ca. 56 Prozent über 7-9 Tage. Bei der täglichen Kontrolle habe ich wenige Blüten gefunden, die ich entsorgen musste. Sie braucht schon etwas Aufmerksamkeit, die Shaman. Anschließend wurden die Blüten trocken weiter getrimmt und zum Aushärten mit Boveda 62% in Schnappdeckelgläsern bei 20 Grad in einem Eichenschrank gelagert. Das Endprodukt und ein abschließender Konsumreport folgen. Ich bin ziemlich happy! 💚

La verdad que el secado muy bien 7 días en Malla y a los botes, 40% humedad y 24 grados es la temperatura ambiental que han tenido en el secado. Por lo demás de miedo os la recomiendo.
