After drying, the hydro plant's bud smelled a little different. Considering the small amount and the bud rod that was cut away previously, I didn't want to risk anything and threw it away. So the harvest is just about the soil plant. I dried the whole plant except larger fan leaves. As this was an outdoor-ish grew I don't have any specialised equipment. It just had to dry in the room, which averaged 24°C and 60% humidity, probably not ideal. After 10 days it was trimmed and finally weighed. Might still be a little wet though. Final dry weight was 42g, after weighing in wet and untrimmed at 294g.

After the disaster with germinating the expert seeds Gorrillas, I was a bit disheartened, was so looking forward to them. But we just follow up strong by planting a Dutch Passion Skywalker Haze instead. Will be starting that diary this week, lets hope she germinates. And it looks like we might be lucky, one tiny seedling came up from the 5 expert seeds, looks like a bit of a runt now and doesnt grow as fast as the Dutch Passion Orange Hill Special. I wil put another Orange Hill in the tent if this doesnt work out. Last week was a hot week and rising temperatures inside and out of the tent, I decided to to remove the driver from the SP-3000 and put it outside of the tent. This light looks even sleeker and sexier this way. Also a dream to deinstall, 5 minutes. But my victory last week was my invention of my custom top down oscillating fan. Which comprises of a standing oscillating towerfan, hung horizontal by just making a little hole in the foot and hanging it sideways. It works like a charm. The tower has optional oscillation so I can choose to just cool the light or sway through the entire tent. Very happy with that and still very happy with the light by @MarsHydroLED, thanks so much. Beautiful autoflowering strain, she had developed a very fat single main cola, very sticky and heavy.

Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

You can notice that a part of it has started to dry out...I noticed some bed bugs on this part of the plant, plus at the base of the stem there is a big open bruise.

Booming and blooming. One pheno is about 25" tall, and the other is over 3' tall. Not a ton of odor yet, but I continue to be very impressed by the growth rate of these Pride of the Lion genetics.
