Fat buds and 4 phenotypes. The first two are very similar: indica and very productive. One is a highly sativa phenotype who grows high but have large-indica leaves. At last I found a not so big yielding phenotype but it produced top buds with much resin.

Week 4 update - through the first week of the stretch and all is developing well. It’s really only the one strong male that’s started showing significantly. Most of the females have trace pistils and are still rapid vegging as expected. Every plant continues showing excellent hybrid vigour and there are literally zero noticeable deficiencies. Currently, the count is at about 2/3 males + about 2/3 indica dominant fem phenos. We took clones of everything female this week so that we can bud em out proper in the dutchy cabinet once the pollen subsides. That’s where we’ll get a real look at the bid quality👌. They’re all quite young at only 3/4 weeks from seed but still look hardy and strong. Rigged up a new drip ring delivery system so that we could take off for a couple days and make watering easier for my mother in-law. Anyone wants the skinny on those, just throw me a dm - super easy design and save a ton of cash and time. All told - were well on our way to the final finish of this generation and the punnet squaring should be interesting once we’re done. End of the day, the grower in me is just giddy for the next cycle. Finally gonna have the option to grow a bunch of different fems for a shit ton o bud👍👌💪. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Week went again very uneventful, she is not very hungry anymore and had to constantly refill the reservoir with water to keep the ec in check. Trichomes are all cloudy and start to turn amber. She has developed that amazing purple hue and is sticky to the max, so definitely showing her glue heritable ;) I will continue to feed her until Wednesday this week and then start the flushing and darkness. Harvest will be next week end.

She’s putting out larger, healthy fan leaves with a beautiful deep green hue. The node spacing remains tight, and the plant is developing a nice, bushy structure. ​Looking at the photos, you can see the secondary growth points starting to peek out, which means she’s preparing to branch out. The stem is continuing to thicken, providing a strong base. The overall health is 10/10 with no signs of stress or deficiencies. 📈 ​💧 NUTRIENT FEEDING & WATERING ​Maintaining the current feeding schedule as she responds perfectly to it. She's in full stretch and had fill every spaces with her thick branches . I fed her half the recommended dose of Biobizz Grow 'cause is too hot and don't want to burn her. I think we are 10-14 days before flowering. I covered her with a PVC net in order to give her a little shield from the sun and give me more privacy ;-)

Week 8 of flowering 11/6/24 Changed nutrients to FinalPart at 1.3 EC Buds growth slowed down, they are full and packing some nice weight, leaves color change started to get very noticeable with pink leaves showing more and more. Checking runoff PH and EC daily. Upped the PH+ to 7.0 to combat lowering PH in the rootzone. (seems like it slowed down the PH dropping) Runoff at 10-20%, EC within 0.2 range of initial watering. Used FinalPart for 6 days. 11/7/24 started to give only water to leech the leftover nutes from the media and get more fading color on the leaves,

Holy shit we boomin'. I actually had to super crop (i think that's what i did) bc one red poison was getting so tall. I had to pull her to 90 degrees... she's already back reaching for the light - I'm not sure what impact this has on my grow, but I think it will be a positive one. She was going to be insanely tall if I hadn't done this.
