Grow diary / germination / The new adventure begins Hello, dear grower friends! 😊 I’m back with a new grow diary and a new adventure. This is my second grow and I’m excited to try new things and improve my skills. I’m thankful for all the support and feedback I’ve received from you . 🙏 In this week’s update, I want to talk about: My setup My seeds My germination My expectations My setup My setup is still an 80 by 80 by 180 cm tent, which is a bit small but nothing else fits in my room. I’m very satisfied with it for the beginning, but I will get a Homebox for the third run because I find the zippers better processed and the inlay reflects more light. My lamp is a LUmatek 200 watt pro edition, which I’m absolutely happy with. It has great handling and processing and it gives enough light for my plants. If I get a smaller tent for a mother plant, I will order from Lumatek again 110 percent. My exhaust is twice as strong as I need it so I can keep it at a quiet 50 percent. It keeps the air fresh and the temperature stable. The temperature is around 25°C and the humidity is around 60%. I water my plants manually according to the Biobizz fertilizer scheme. I use organic nutrients and adjust the pH of the water. The plants are in Lightmix now and will move to 20 l fabric pots in Allmix when transplanting. My seeds As seeds I have this time: 1 Orange Sherbert from Barneys Farm 1 Bruce Banner 1 Apple Fritter 2 Lemon Gelato from a collaboration of Zamnesia and Kannabia These are all very special strains that I’m curious to try. The Lemon Gelato seeds were limited to 500 and I hope they will be fantastic. Of course I have conserved some for later grows. My germination I germinated the seeds in a glass of water for 24 hours and then planted them in small pots with Lightmix. They sprouted after 2-3 days and are now showing their first true leaves. They look healthy and happy, except for one Lemon Gelato seed that didn’t make it, which was probably my fault. The other one is very lively. I have them under the lamp at 18/6 light cycle and at about 50 cm distance. I water them every two days with a spray bottle and a little bit of root juice. My expectations I’m looking forward to the new challenge, especially because it’s a mix of 4 strains this time and I hope we can build on past successes. I want to improve my scrog technique and top the plants at least 3 times. I also want to try mainlining on one of them. This week I turned on automatic watering 2 times a day for 10 minutes. After that, the plant began to overflow, then I realized my mistake and temporarily returned to manual watering. Otherwise, everything went quietly and calmly, since the killer is building up the root system, events and rapid growth have not yet taken place.

This week they both shot up and got stronger. Wendy's broken stem made no difference and the two of them are sucking up nutes. Next weeks feed will be adding cal mag and heavier nutes as i can see pre flower, generative looks. Small white hairs appearing. Started tucking leaves back - scrog is coming too. Hold on 2 your wigs!

She has bee growing and average of 1-2" daily and is needing1 gal of notes every other day to top off her resivore

PAR/PPFD 240 (41% increase) DLI 14.5 (44% increase) Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients 2 mL of each Micro Grow Bloom Base Nutrients and 2 mL BotaniCare CalMag. 3 Gallon bucket filled with 2 gallons of RO water. No more notes for rest of the week. The TC600 is 260w from the wall. Not 600w.

Got full fall colors in, looks like we’re on the final stretch and flush. I’ll be monitoring the trichomes for ripeness. 🤘🏼🌱🔥

(germination through first week of seedling 11/29-12/10) Days 1 to 7 Starting a new grow with two Royal Queen, Purple Queen Seeds (thank you Royal Queen for making this possible) I plan to be rough with these plants and top them both to 8 colas. This journal will be different than my last (alot less detail) but I will still look for new opportunities to learn something new that I can share. I also plan to take at least 5 pics per week with 1 video and 1 'pretty' cover pic per week, however I also plan to delete the excess details at the end of each week. I had these seeds for about 4 months now. They have been stored in the fridge inside a paper bag. I took the seeds out of the fridge and let the rest on the counter for two days before dropping them in water. After a seed inspection of which I noticed some unatural bumps on the shell of one, but no cracks or splits, I dropped them both in purified water for 19 hours. Since the shells still hadn't cracked, I then transferred both seeds to paper towels with the belly button side up and pressed them against the glas side to make the tap root grow straight down. These seeds took 2 days to show a crack in the shell from the time that I placed them into the paper towel - Once they cracked, I cut the middle of Rapid Rooter starter pods and placed the tap root down inside the pods. I then closed the pods with ends of toothpicks and placed them in an incubator until they showed a tap root growing out from the bottom of the pods. That took a total of 4 days from paper towel to transplant day (now called Day 1) where they were about 1 to 1.5 inches above the soil line after I planted them in 1 cup pots. Dynomyco Mycorrhizal Inoculant was already mixed into the ph balanced soil that had been growing Happy Frog mycorrhizae for about a month. I used 8.75ph purified water with the soil to create a soil with 6.3ph (this soil has been notorious for being extremely low on ph and by week 4 to 5 after second topping the first fan leaves show a calcium deficit.)

Bubble og I still have 4 of these guys going. A few of them are still dark green and pretty decent growers they have thiner leaves. I'm sure a few of these will be on the chopping block later down a few of them just have crappy start growth and they need the humidity at 75% or above 100% the time with the light lower than normal or they start to shrivel up. That's not all of them just a couple. Also I am only going to flower 8 plants out if the 12 seedling and I have 5 strains going so can't have half my plants bubble og (wish I had room to grow the full 12 plants at a time) It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

Microscope shows the telltale amber in some of the trichomes :). Did a full system clean with H2O2, long rinse, and the new solution is just pH balanced water and FloraKleen. Some crispy leaves at the moment but I'm not worried. Harvest is coming soon! Next post will be a harvest post and early smoke report 🙃

Plants just won’t stop growing, seems like I get up everyday and they’re just exponentially bigger, looking back at the yellow crusted half dead plants I had in earlier weeks they definitely look healthier although I see some nute or light burn on the tops of some leaves. I welcome any advice from growers to help me along the way

Was geht growmies, Hab diese Woche einmal für zwei Tage vergessen zu gießen, und das haben mir die Pflanzen ziemlich übel genommen. Zum Glück haben sie sich nach zwei weiteren Tagen wieder erholt, paar Blätter sind gelb geworden, hab diese größtenteils entfernt. Die Buds sind zudem viel zu schwer für die Stängel, sodass ich sie an paar Stellen fixieren musste. Es geht grade ziemlich rapide voran, werde ab nächster Woche auch schon anfangen mit dem Flush und die lichtintensität langsam runterdrehen. Wünsche euch ein schönes Wochenende und stay high 🍀😊

Day 78. Just runs fine. Day 42 for Control garden. Biggest Incredible Bulk is amazing plant, very strong, should be really nice to harvest, 3 weeks veg is my shortest ever.... Thinking to leave them untouched, hope they will mature quicker, even without direct light, they grow amazing.. For now just heavy feed, reached 1100, normally 1200 is my max. Day 79. Girls are fine, plain water today. Thinking to leave Control Garden with all leaves, but despite them growing not under direct light they are 70+ cm height. Now they cause shadow and block air move... In doubts a bit... Day 83. Control garden is a lot behind and still stretching , took 12 leaves in total from 3 plants. Now second canopy will have more light, should really chop bottom branches and leaves, but maybe will do it on second defoliation round... All girls getting heavy feed 1250 ppm. Gorillas still too hungry, Cookies overfed as always... Hard grow for lazy hard stoner :)))

super happy with this pheno and so glad I put her in a larger pot, she is my second largest auto ever and im so pleased that she is doing well. Blütewoche 7: Nachdem ich den Großteil meiner Frustration über den Fehlschlag verarbeitet hatte, entschied ich mich dazu den Plan doch nochmal zu überdenken und separierte die gezwitterte Übeltäterin ins leere Nebenzelt um diese schonmal auf die letzte Reise zu schicken. Wie man auf den Bildern erkennen kann kontrollierte ich die Pflanzen an Tag 100 noch einmal genaustens auf Pollensäcke. Diese ließen auch nicht all zu lange auf sich warten und es waren doch mehr als gedacht. Aber als ich mir die Terpene anschaute und feststellte, dass der Großteil schon milchig ist und die Pflanze im Vergleich zur ChocolateHaze beispielsweise von Samen wirklich verschont ausschaut, stellte ich mir folgende Frage.. Ist es unter diesen Umständen nicht sinnvoller , die Pflanze zu nehmen wie sie ist und dafür das Risiko zu minimiere nur noch mehr Samen zu züchten? Natürlich würde ich sie lieber noch 2 Wochen in Blüte lassen, aber wer weiß wie viel Müsli in 2 Wochen nachkommen können.. Ich will es nicht herausfinden 😒😅 Also bereitete ich einen letztzen Trank zu, welcher der Pflanze für die kommenden Tage etwas " beruhigen " sollte. - To be Continued -

I’m getting a sweet smell during this flowing stage

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. This new strain joins others rich in both CBD and THC like Euphoria, Royal Medic, Medical Mass and Danceworld that seek to actually not necessarily downplay cannabis' psychoactive effects in favor of optimizing its healing role, but instead equalize the two. According to the California-based Steep Hill Cannabis Analysis Laboratory, this equalization brings to the cannabis user not just the physically healing aspects, but also the spiritually and psychologically healing benefits as well. There are other strains with very little THC and more CBD than Painkiller XL , but rare are such splendid balances. Producers of this strain say it produces a considerable amount of pain relief, with a mild, relieving mental euphoria. With a flowering time of eight weeks, the Painkiller XL seed can produce 525 to 575 grams per plant indoors. Inside, the dried yield is 400 to 450 grams per plant. Week 3 day 2. Nr1 is doing great and number 2 have to catch up. The girls are 10 cm high and 3 cm.

Week 4 was defined by the discovery and correction of a significant salt and nutrient buildup in the medium. On Day 21 (Jan 20), runoff opened at 2100 PPM — well above safe range — triggering an emergency flush. Feed input came in at 418 PPM at pH 6.99, and multiple plain water rinses at pH 5.8 were run through the medium until runoff dropped to 1180 PPM at pH 5.87, EC 2370 µS/cm, salt 0.11%. Medium was flushed down approximately 920 PPM in a single session. No further watering for 24 hours following the flush to allow the root zone to stabilize. Environment ran well overall — temperatures holding 76–78°F lights on and ~70°F lights off, humidity steady at 68–70% with brief transient dips when the humidifier tank ran empty. VPD tracking ~0.9–1.0 kPa throughout the week. PPFD running 380–420 µmol/m²/s. CO2 ambient with no supplementation. Day 25 (Jan 24) feed came in at 642 PPM at pH 5.91 — notably the water temperature was very cold at 4.7–6.0°C, well below the ideal 20–22°C range. Cold water can slow nutrient uptake and stress roots. Worth monitoring in future sessions to ensure water is allowed to reach room temperature before feeding. No runoff recorded this session. By end of week, runoff had settled to 1440 PPM at pH 5.8–5.9 — trending in the right direction. Feeding plan reset going into Week 5: ½ gallon at 600–700 PPM, ¼–⅓ strength veg nutrients only, no boosters, pH 5.9 target with 10–15% runoff. Goal was a gentle nutrient reintroduction to signal roots to resume uptake without risking a salt rebound. The Sundae Thumper continued developing steadily through the stress of the flush week.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
