Flower day 22, I hope the stretch is finally over.. these girls are giants! So far they have just been given P.H water and 1 top dress of some Dr Forest bloom 2-8-4 dry amendments mixed with some bokashi, canna pro soil and some worm castings that I watered in using molasses. Loving how easy this grow is going, hopefully it stays that way until harvest :)

Week 9 - Day 59 (from seed) Tropicana Cookies Auto by Fast Buds Update: Yesterday I watered her with 5ml Plagron Green Sensation and 6ml of Bud Candy in 2 liters of distilled water. No pH adjustment. This should help push the buds a bit more in this final phase. Plant status: She’s stacking up nicely! Buds are really starting to swell and fill out, especially around the main cola. There’s a heavy coating of trichomes — mostly milky with just a few clears left, no amber yet from what I can see. The sugar leaves have a nice frost to them and the aroma is getting stronger each day — very sweet and fruity. Leaves are mostly healthy, although a few of the older fan leaves are starting to fade, which is expected at this stage. No major signs of deficiency or stress. I think she’s entering her final push. Based on trichome development and overall appearance, I’d estimate maybe 10–14 days left. I’ll likely start the flush in 3-4 days unless I see amber trichomes sooner. I was expecting a lot more on the harvest but the plant kept quite short and the buds didn't swell as expected, overall the buds are covered with a thick layer of trichomes and the smell is really pleasant, I cant wait to cure it and try the flavour. I made a good spliff out of the resin stuck on the clippers and the stone is quite strong with a clear mind and an amazing body feeling that make you relax without feeling stuck on the sofa.

A more difficult week. I've been battling the water consumption on two of the girls. I ordered and hooked up the Blumats auto watering system. I followed the instructions to a T but they don't work on those settings for this type of plant. They must be recommending for succulents cause the girls dried out right away with the settings. So I've been slowing dialing it in the get the proper amount to release. This Gorilla Cookie is my problem child right now. She is so delicate. Underwatered all the time. Then when you water a bunch she's overwatered. It's a dumb situation. I've never ran into this. I just think she outgrew her pot too soon and could benefit from synthetic nutrients. Dear diary, Week 9 marks the last week of veg as it ends with us finally transitioning into the flowering phase. As we embark onto flowing, I continue to fine-tune the environmental conditions and adjust nutrient levels to support optimal development. One thing to note is that GC #2 still shows some of those strange leaf mutations on some of the tops but continues to grow well. Mutations doesn’t have to be something bad, but will need to keep a close eye on her to make sure she isn’t a hermie. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 60: I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.66ms and adjusted the pH to 5.8. Additionally, I increased the light intensity from 20 to 25 dli (daily light integral). To maintain the desired humidity levels, I turned on the air conditioner to dehumidify the space, successfully bringing it back down to 58% as it started slipping up to the 70s again. However, this adjustment caused a slight drop in temperatures to 24.5 degrees Celsius. ⏰ Day 61: During the evening feeding session at 18:00, the plants received a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.66ms and a pH level of 5.8. Furthermore, I elevated the light intensity from 25 to 28 dli, positioning the lights 50cm above the canopy. The night temperatures have also stabilized at 22.5 degrees Celsius after the AC change. ⏰ Day 62: I provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and a pH level of 5.6. I also conducted some light low-stress training and removed any growth on the horizontal stems, as each stem already possesses its intended 16 tops. These adjustments will help maintain an even canopy and ensure optimal light penetration. ⏰ Day 63: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.67ms and adjusted the pH to 5.7. To enhance light exposure, I increased the light intensity to 32 dli/500ppfd and positioning the lights 48cm above the canopy. ⏰ Day 64: At 11:55, just before lights off, I applied pesticides to address any potential pest issues. During the evening feeding session, I provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and a pH level of 5.7. Additionally, I removed some excess growth and increased the light intensity to 37 dli/580ppfd, getting to the optimal levels before flowering starts. ⏰ Day 65 (Day 1 Flower): I initiated the flowering phase by switching the lights to a 12/12 cycle and provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.85ms and a pH level of 6.1. As the plants enter the flowering stage, I have adjusted the nutrient composition. The calmag has been reduced to 1.5ml/l, Bud Candy has been added at 1ml/l, and the A+B mix has been increased to 3ml/l. The plants water consumption has also increased, now reaching approximately 2 liters per day, which aligns well with the timing of the light cycle change. The temperatures have stabilized around 25 degrees Celsius during the day, and the relative humidity ranges between 55-60%. I have also set up the scrog net in preparation for the upcoming stretch phase. ⏰ Day 66: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.85ms and adjusted the pH to 6.0.

12/17/2021 They are growing well,#1 will be eliminated she is a runt, and way to far behind her sisters in growth, so culling her tomorrow. Ps. #1 sprang back to life! No sign of sex yet but soon I hope, as I was hoping for a short veg. More pics of #2-#8 in a.m. Pretty cool to see plants know when lights going to out, and leaves look lower (drooping) about an hour before light shuts off !. Getting ready for (sleep)? Pics 1-8 at lights on and leaves starting to reach for the sky (waking up) Plants are about 31 days old and should start to show signs of sex.
