Start of day 14 of flower. Still stretching and plants are happy. Next week will be doing major defoliation and taking cuts. Picked up spider farmer GlowR 80, these are at 40 watts each at 650nm red light . I remember reading about side and under lighting way back in the early 90s in Ed Rosenthal's grow book but never attempted it. These are very bright and torched my bare eyes when I glanced at them. Don't have room on the sides in this tent so I'll put them under the canopy once I give the plants haircuts in a few days, hopefully that will add a little bump to the popcorn.

2nd net is up. Early bud formations are promising. holding up to the extremes pretty well, some leaves taking minor damage, but overall, she is holding up, gave her 1 night at 50F see how she would react, stressful. Not advised as it messes with her metabolism, but I want to see if it triggers any anthocyanin response. Love to see her purp up but no signs yet. Remember, For every molecule of glucose produced during photosynthesis, a plant needs to split six molecules of water. This process provides the hydrogen needed for synthesizing glucose and other organic compounds, while oxygen is released as a byproduct. Homework. If Rubisco activity is impaired and it cannot properly function or regenerate its substrate, the plant's leaves are likely to turn a pale green or lime green, a condition known as chlorosis. Essentially, Rubisco activity is highly regulated and susceptible to various environmental and metabolic factors that can cause it to become inhibited, leading to an apparent failure in RuBP regeneration due to a lack of consumption. Rubisco regeneration is intrinsically linked to nitrogen supply because Rubisco is a major sink for nitrogen in plants, typically accounting for 15% to over 25% of total leaf nitrogen. The regeneration phase itself consumes nitrogen through the synthesis of the Rubisco enzyme and associated proteins (like Rubisco activase), and overall nitrogen status heavily influences the efficiency of RuBP regeneration. RuBisCO is a very large enzyme that constitutes a significant proportion (up to 50%) of leaf soluble protein and requires large investments in nitrogen. Insufficient nitrogen supply limits the plant's ability to produce adequate amounts of RuBisCO, thereby limiting the overall capacity for photosynthesis and carbon fixation. Maintaining the optimal, slightly alkaline pH is crucial for the proper function and regeneration of Rubisco. Deviations in either direction (too high or too low) disrupt the enzyme's structure, activation state, and interaction with its substrates, leading to decreased activity and impaired RuBP regeneration. (Lime/yellowing) Structural Component: Nitrogen is an essential building block for all proteins, and the sheer abundance of the Rubisco protein makes it the single largest storage of nitrogen in the leaf. Synthesis and Activity: Adequate nitrogen supply is crucial for the synthesis and maintenance of sufficient Rubisco enzyme and Rubisco activase (Rca), the regulatory protein responsible for maintaining Rubisco's active state. Nitrogen deficiency leads to a decrease in the content and activity of both Rubisco and Rca, which in turn limits the maximum carboxylation rate, Vmax, and the rate of RuBP regeneration Jmax, thus reducing overall photosynthetic capacity. Nitrogen Storage and Remobilization: Rubisco can act as a temporary nitrogen storage protein, which is degraded to remobilize nitrogen to other growing parts of the plant, especially under conditions of nitrogen deficiency or senescence. Nitrogen Use Efficiency (NUE): The allocation of nitrogen to Rubisco is a key determinant of a plant's photosynthetic nitrogen use efficiency (PNUE). In high-nitrogen conditions, plants may accumulate a surplus of Rubisco, which may not be fully activated, leading to a lower PNUE. Optimizing the amount and activity of Rubisco relative to nitrogen availability is a target for improving crop NUE. Photorespiration and Nitrogen Metabolism: Nitrogen metabolism is also linked to the photorespiration pathway (which competes with carboxylation at the Rubisco active site), particularly in the reassimilation of ammonia released during the process. To increase RuBisCO regeneration, which refers to the process of forming the CO2 acceptor molecule Ribulose-1,5-bisphosphate (RuBP) during photosynthesis, the primary methods involve optimizing the levels and activity of Rubisco activase (Rca) and enhancing the performance of other Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzymes. Biochemical and Environmental Approaches: Optimize Rubisco Activase (Rca) activity: Rca is a crucial chaperone protein that removes inhibitory sugar phosphates, such as CA1P (2-carboxy-D-arabinitol 1-phosphate), from the Rubisco active site, thus maintaining its catalytic competence. •Ensure optimal light conditions: Rca is light-activated via the chloroplast's redox status. Adequate light intensity ensures Rca can effectively maintain Rubisco in its active, carbamylated state. •Maintain optimal temperature: Rca is highly temperature-sensitive and can become unstable at moderately high temperatures (e.g., above 35°C/95F° in many C3 plants), which decreases its ability to activate Rubisco. Maintaining temperatures within the optimal range for a specific plant species is important. •Optimize Mg2+ concentration: Mg2+ is a key cofactor for both Rubisco carbamylation and Rca activity. In the light, Mg2+ concentration in the chloroplast stroma increases, promoting activation. •Manage ATP/ADP ratio: Rca activity depends on ATP hydrolysis and is inhibited by ADP. Conditions that maintain a high ATP/ADP ratio in the chloroplast stroma favor Rca activity. Enhance Calvin-Benson-Bassham (CBB) cycle enzyme activity: The overall rate of RuBP regeneration can be limited by other enzymes in the cycle. •Increase SBPase activity: Sedoheptulose-1,7-bisphosphatase (SBPase) is a key regulatory enzyme in the regeneration pathway, and increasing its activity can enhance RuBP regeneration and overall photosynthesis. •Optimize other enzymes: Overexpression of other CBB cycle enzymes such as fructose-1,6-bisphosphate aldolase (FBA) and triose phosphate isomerase (TPI) can also help to balance the metabolic flux and improve RuBP regeneration capacity. Magnesium ions, Mg2+, are specifically required for Rubisco activation because the cation plays a critical structural and chemical role in forming the active site: A specific lysine residue in the active site must be carbamylated by a CO2 molecule to activate the enzyme. The resulting negatively charged carbamyl group then facilitates the binding of the positively charged Mg2+ion. While other divalent metal ions like Mn2+ can bind to Rubisco, they alter the enzyme's substrate specificity and lead to dramatically lower activity or a higher rate of the non-productive oxygenation reaction compared to Mg2+, making them biologically unfavorable in the context of efficient carbon fixation. The concentration of Mg2+ in the chloroplast stroma naturally increases in the light due to ion potential balancing during ATP synthesis, providing a physiological mechanism to ensure the enzyme is activated when photosynthesis is possible. At the center of the porphyrin ring, nestled within its nitrogen atoms, is a Magnesium ion (Mg2+). This magnesium ion is crucial for the function of chlorophyll, and without it, the pigment cannot effectively capture and transfer light energy. Mg acts as a cofactor: Mg2+ binds to Rubisco after an activator CO2 molecule, forming a catalytically competent complex (Enzyme-CO2-Mg2+). High light + CO2) increases demand: Under high light (60 DLI is a very high intensity, potentially saturating) and high CO2, the plant's capacity for photosynthesis is high, and thus the demand for activated Rubisco and the necessary Mg2+ cofactor increases. Mg deficiency becomes limiting: If Mg2+ is deficient under these conditions, the higher levels of Rubisco and Rubisco activase produced cannot be fully activated, leading to lower photosynthetic rates and potential photo-oxidative damage. Optimal range: Studies show that adequate Mg2+ application can enhance Rubisco activation and stabilize net photosynthetic rates under stress conditions, but the required concentration is specific to the experimental setup. Monitoring is key: The most effective approach in a controlled environment is to monitor the plant's physiological responses e.g., leaf Mg2+ concentration, photosynthetic rate, Rubisco activation state, and adjust the nutrient solution/fertilizer to maintain adequate levels, rather than supplementing a fixed "extra" amount. In practice, this means ensuring that Mg2+ is not a limiting factor in the plant's standard nutrient solution when pushing the limits with high light and CO2. Applying Mg2+ through foliar spray is beneficial to Rubisco regeneration, particularly in alleviating the negative effects of magnesium (Mg) deficiency and high-temperature stress (HTS). While Mg can be leached from soil, within the plant it is considered a mobile nutrient, particularly in the phloem. Foliar-applied Mg is quickly absorbed by the leaves and can be translocate to other plant parts, including new growth and sink organs. Foliar application of: NATURES VERY OWN MgSO4 @ 15.0g L-1 in a spray bottle. For those high-intensity workouts when 1 meal a day is just not enough! Foliar sprays are often recommended as a rapid rescue measure for existing deficiencies or as a supplement during critical growth stages, when demand for Mg is high. Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The plant was getting a little limey yellow in the centre. Shortly thereafter, she was back in business, green mostly regenerated. The starting point [of creativity] is curiosity: pondering why the default exists in the first place. We’re driven to question defaults when we experience vuja de, the opposite of déjà vu. Déjà vu occurs when we encounter something new, but it feels as if we’ve seen it before. На этой неделе поработал с ветками в неперспективных местах, удалив все лишнее, что могло бы вытягиваться, вместо генерации цветов. За неделю растение выросло на 10 сантиметров. Проверил натяжение, центральный ствол туго натянул шнур растяжки, пытаясь выпрямиться после освобождения всех веток от натяжения. Пока ещё рано отпускать растяжку ствола, сделаю это после остановки вертикального роста. Ещё одна неделя "вытягивания" впереди, но цветы уже довольно быстро набирают массу. После обрезки неперспективных веток внизу растения, у меня чесалась рука, которую я запускал в гущу листвы. Это словно крапива, жжет, вызывает раздражение и пока не вымоешь руку с мылом в теплой воде, жжение не уходит. Девочка достаточно липкая, чтоб стать в одну линию с уже выращенными девочками и посоревноваться с ними в эффекте и урожае. Запах изменился до неузнаваемости, теперь она не пахнет кошкой, скунсом.... то, как она пахнет, невозможно описать обычными словами...это похоже на запах разнотравья в одном букете. Кажется что тут смесь запахов: чебрец, мята, мать-и-мачеха, плакун-трава и чертополох. Запах сладкий, медовый, с небольшим пряным горьковатым шлейфом. Внешне цветы начали становиться похожими на молодые одуванчики, слегка подкрасив свои стигмы в желтый цвет. После обрезки слаборазвитых мест я попил чай, заварив на свежую в кипятке несколько молодых цветов и листьев. Замечательное пойло, очень полезное для внутренних органов, особенно для пищевода, желудка и двенадцатиперстной кишки. Поднял лампу на 10 сантиметров, сохраняя расстояние между лампой и верхушкой растения - 60 сантиметров. Fun one to grow even in veg its exciting because the foliage is fuckin Jurassic like it's a beautiful thing. Had some high ph towards the end so I would say theres plenty of room for improvement but all around this was a decent grow and this strain is a classic

Unfortunately this will be the last week because the threat of the red spider has returned and I cannot afford to use other chemical remedies to eliminate it so I anticipate the harvest by a week even if looking at the trichomes I am not so far from full maturity, Too bad . !

June 28th : Been enjoying the start of a new week with a video. Decided to try to put some music to it instead of just the loud fans going! Think it went ok for a first try! Cola's are filling up nicely. They are well on their way! June 29th : Got some really good shots tonight. Still gotta work on holding a bit steadier for my macro shots. Another round of like 30 shots with only one good one. Oh well Plants are looking great! So far no signs of anything detrimental from the extra light last week! Knock on wood!! June 30th : Wound up running out of time in my day for pictures. July 1st : Did a straight water tonight. Realized tonight that both my Early Girl O.G. have a different cola structure and the hairs are quite different. Very cool! Looks like they are fattening up but i'm worried they won't hit the size of some of the other's I've seen on here. Should have gone with a bigger single light. Oh well. July 2nd : Been a busy life for me lately and couldn't get to pics. July 3rd : Still didn't have time for pics due to previous obligations. July 4th : Ment to take pictures tonight but stayed up with the wife and kid watching fireworks! Ended up totally forgetting to snap more pics.. Ugh. Holidays taking away from all the fun! Video Tomorrow for sure.

They are coming along very nicely. I took my first cutting from the mother this week. I cut her back to the 4th node and began cloning the cutting. I trimmed the leaves and branches below the top and put her in a net pot with about an inch of her stem extending below the pot that was dipped in clonex gel. I put the net pot in my veg tank and hopefully I’ll get roots in the next week or two. Thanks again for looking!

Día 35, primera semana de flora. Viene creciendo con un vigor muy notable. Ayer le defolié dos ramas y un par de hojas que no tenían futuro una vez que me aseguré que se recuperaron de la apical de la semana pasada. Regué también un L (estoy regando un L con comida y otro solo con micorrizas). El de ayer, Lunes, al igual que todos los Domingos/Lunes, fue con comida y la comida consistió en: Media tapa de Bokashi de Vamp de vegetación y media tapa de Bokashi de Vamp de floración. 5 ML de Alga Delta por última vez para estimular la floración. 25 ML de Vampimelaza para que los hongos y bacterias descompongan los carbohidratos. También usé Vampkashi como enmienda haciendo una capa, y luego tapé con tierra ya que son fotosensibles los micro organismos. La Blue Mazar Auto viene creciendo ramificada y robusta, es una planta sólida que promete mucho. Crece rápido y fácil si se le dan las condiciones adecuadas.

Hello. I've harvested the Mega Mouth. WOW!!! I'm very impressed with this strain. Over 1.5 k for 5 plants. and it was finished by Aug 20 with the tents help. I'm trying some new (for me) categories to add to my report. Plant Stretch (PS) 1 to 5- 1 is hardly any stretch. Bud Mutation (BM) 1 to 5- 1 is a beautiful normal bud- 5 is big weird growths like foxtails. Trim- How easy or hard it was to trim up 1- you blow on the branch and hang it up. 5- Is very hard to trim takes a long time. About- Best guess on the THC % (I've been smoking a long time) Resin- 1 is super slippery 5- is very sticky like Gorilla Glue. Size of Buds (SOB) 1- is very small 5- is the biggest buds Dense- 1- is the lightest or fluffiest 5- is the rock hard buds your bud buster has trouble busting up. Plant #1 Wet Trim 1647 g PS. 3.5 BM 3.5 Trim 4 About 21% Resin 4 SoB 4 Dense 4 Finished Dry Weight 289.5 g or 10.33 oz. Plant #2 Wet trim 1606 g PS 3,5 BM 3.9 Trim 4 About 22% Resin 3 SoB 4.7 Dense 4.3 Finished Dry Weight- 302 g or 10.78 oz. Plant #3 Wet Trim 1635 g PS 3.7 BM 3 Trim 2.8 About 20% Resin 2.8 SoB 3.7 Dense 4.5 Finished Dry Weight- 314 g or 11.21 oz. Plant #4 Wet Trim 1753 g PS 2.5 BM 2.5 Trim 3 About 22% Resin 4 Falls off easily- Clumpy Dense 2.5 Final Dry Weight- 343.5 g or 12.26 oz. Plant #5- Wet Trim 1787 g PS 3.5 BM 3.7 Trim 3 About 24% Resin 2.5 Dense 2.5 Finished Dry Weight- 355.5 g or 12.69 oz. The taste is sweet and smooth to go down with a nice balanced buzz. There was some pests around. I found thrips damage in veg and got some Spinosad to take care of that. Saw some fungus gnats around but they didn't do much damage. Easy to grow and trim. This is a recommended strain. Chuck.

Hey there it’s been really cold lately it’s been hard to keep the humidity and temps at a decent range. A lot of the plants are showing stress from the environment. The pound cake auto is doing pretty well it has gotten a lot larger. This morning I finally saw some small pre flower hairs coming from the main stem. Also the stems in the plant seem to be starting to stench. So 90% sure buy the end of the week the plant will really be showing signs of flowering. Well just saying it’s flowing now. From what I see online this strain takes along time to switch to flower compared to lots of auto flower strains. This would be a perfect strain if you wanted to main line

As you can see, she is stretching, showing sex and is going to be a decent plant , hopefully.. i hope everyone is doing well. I'm kind of over this site. To be honest with you, they do not make it phone friendly and I know I'm not the only one that feels his way... They just keep changing the site for absolutely no reason and make it harder and harder to navigate...smh .. God bless and happy grown guys

LSD-25 deve essere una genetica bellissima dai tratti viola a predominanza indica ma che è capace di portarti con la testa molto in alto! Già da adesso il colore del gambo risulta più scuro più rosso delle sorellastre, questo dice molto del suo tratto genetico…voglio vedere come si svilupperà, non penso di fare dei particolari allenamenti alle piante ma solo una potatura delle foglie e forse qualche piegatura ma steremo a vedere…grazie @Fast_Buds per queste bellissime genetiche 💯
