Hello Growmies, As we navigate through week 9, the crescendo of the Watermelon Candy F1 Hybrids’ flowering odyssey is near. Nestled within the verdant grove alongside the Epic Buzz and Red Banana Pudding strains, our Watermelon Candy troupe is displaying the telltale signs of impending harvest. The plants exude a melody of sweetness, with trichomes glistening like morning dew under the subdued glow of the IR lights, revealing a spectacular array of colors not typically seen in the standard lighting spectrum. Despite the compact nature of the buds, which is a result of the 12/12 light cycle they've been flourishing under, the density of these floral clusters cannot be overstated—like tiny, aromatic asteroids. Plant #1 continues its reign with a prolific bud structure that's nothing short of mesmeric. Plants #2 and #3 exhibit a bounty of floral nodes, each one a testament to the bounteous yields that are just a fortnight away. Their canopies spread wide, a testament to the cultivar's vigorous growth habit and the attentive care they’ve received. Though the buds might not break records in size, their solidity is remarkable—a testament to the precise environmental controls maintained by our trusty TrolMaster. The buds are rock-solid, heavy with resin, and brimming with the promise of potent effects and delectable flavors. Our nutritional regimen remains unchanged, delivering the essential elements for these final, crucial stages of bloom. The meticulous oversight of our automated systems ensures that our Watermelon Candy Hybrids are relishing in their peak conditions, as we nudge them gently toward full maturation. With a harvest on the horizon, the anticipation is palpable. These final days are a mixture of excitement and the bittersweet acknowledgment that this chapter is closing. Soon, we’ll be able to savor the fruits of our labor, a sweet reward for the weeks of dedication and camaraderie in our grow community. Until then, we'll continue to marvel at the transformation, watching as each plant fulfills its genetic destiny, soon to provide joy and relief in its final form. Stay lifted, Salokin

Folder 11A – Pink Rozay Auto Week 4 | The Early Bloomer Welcome back to The 8Ɨ8 Adventure, where twelve unique cultivars are sharing the same environment, the same feeding schedule and the same lighting, allowing each genetic to reveal its own personality under identical conditions. One of the reasons I decided to document every plant individually is because genetics rarely follow the same script. Even sisters growing side by side can surprise us with different growth patterns, different structures and different flowering speeds. Pink Rozay Auto A is becoming a perfect example of that. While most of the room is only beginning to transition into bloom, she has already decided it’s time to get to work. White pistils are appearing across the entire canopy, flower sites are multiplying every day and she’s beginning to separate herself from the rest of the garden. Whether she’ll stay ahead until harvest or simply had an early start… only time will tell. āø» 🌱 A Compact Plant With Big Ambitions Pink Rozay Auto A isn’t the largest lady inside the 8Ɨ8 room, but she doesn’t seem interested in competing for height. Instead, she’s investing her energy into building a wide, balanced canopy with excellent branch development. Every branch has its own place, creating an open structure that should allow plenty of light to reach future flowering sites. Sometimes a plant doesn’t need to be the tallest to become one of the most productive. Looking from above, the architecture is becoming increasingly symmetrical, giving every developing cola plenty of space to breathe and grow. āø» 🌿 Low Stress Training Doing Exactly What It Should Throughout her vegetative stage I’ve continued working with gentle Low Stress Training, carefully guiding branches outward rather than forcing dramatic bends. Large fan leaves have been tucked away whenever necessary, opening windows for light to reach lower shoots without removing valuable foliage too early. The goal has never been to fight the plant’s natural growth. Instead, it’s simply to encourage a flatter, wider canopy where every branch has an opportunity to become a productive flowering site. So far, Pink Rozay has responded beautifully, maintaining excellent vigour while opening up more every day. āø» 🌸 Leading the Race Into Flower This week’s biggest surprise is how quickly she’s embracing the flowering transition. While several plants throughout the room are only beginning to show their first pistils, Pink Rozay Auto A already displays clusters of fresh white hairs across nearly every growing tip. She seems eager to leave vegetation behind and begin building flowers. Whether this means she’ll ultimately finish ahead of the others or whether the rest of the room will soon catch up is one of the questions I’m most excited to answer over the coming weeks. That’s one of my favourite parts of growing multiple cultivars together—every plant writes its own story. āø» šŸŒ”ļø Environment Despite the warmer summer weather outside, the room continues providing stable conditions for all twelve cultivars. Environment • šŸŒ”ļø Day Temperature: 33°C • šŸŒ™ Night Temperature: 25°C • šŸ’§ Relative Humidity: 63% • ? Substrate Temperature: 21°C • šŸ’¦ Nutrient Solution Temperature: 26°C • āš—ļø pH: 6.1 • ⚔ EC: 1.35 mS/cm • ā˜ļø COā‚‚: 639 ppm • šŸ’§ Water Consumption: 1.1 litres per plant per day Even under these warm daytime temperatures, Pink Rozay continues producing healthy foliage, vibrant new growth and excellent flower initiation without showing signs of stress. āø» Feeding Programme As the plant begins transitioning into bloom, the feeding programme remains focused on maintaining healthy vegetative growth while supporting the first stages of flower production. Per litre • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml • Power Roots — 1 ml • Pure Zym — 1 ml • Sugar Royal — 1 ml Adjusted with: • pH Plus — 0.03 ml • Lemon Kick — 0.03 ml The Plagron programme continues delivering a stable root zone, vigorous growth and healthy development while allowing the plant to naturally progress into the flowering phase. āø» šŸ’” Lighting The entire 8Ɨ8 Adventure continues thriving beneath the incredible Future of Grow LED fixtures. Uniform light distribution across the room allows every cultivar to receive the same opportunity to perform, making it fascinating to watch how different genetics express themselves under identical conditions. Pink Rozay Auto A is already showing that genetics often dictate timing just as much as environment. āø» šŸ‘€ Looking Ahead Week four closes with Pink Rozay Auto A looking healthy, balanced and full of promise. She’s still a relatively compact plant, but her canopy has opened beautifully through gentle training, and her early flowering response suggests she may become one of the first cultivars in the room to fully enter bloom. I’m especially curious to see whether she’ll continue leading the race or whether the rest of the garden will soon catch up. Either way, she’s earned the spotlight this week, and I can’t wait to watch the next chapter unfold. āø» šŸ™ Thank You Thank you, as always, to everyone following The 8Ɨ8 Adventure. Your support, comments and shared experiences make this project even more rewarding, and I hope these individual plant diaries help demonstrate just how unique every cultivar can be, even when they’re grown side by side under identical conditions. A huge thank you to Zamnesia for providing the Pink Rozay Auto genetics, to Plagron for the trusted nutrient line and substrates that continue delivering healthy, vigorous growth, and to Future of Grow LED for providing the consistent lighting that allows every phenotype to express its full potential. Finally, thank you to GrowDiaries for creating a community where growers from around the world can learn, inspire one another and celebrate this incredible hobby together. Until next week… Growers Love and let’s see if Pink Rozay keeps wearing the yellow jersey of the 8Ɨ8 Adventure. šŸŒæšŸ’š

Your efforts in bringing growers together and elevating the craft are nothing short of legendary. To all the participants: I wish you the best of luck. Let’s make this an inspiring and memorable experience for everyone involved! šŸ’š Why I’m Excited I can’t express how thrilled I am to be part of the Eternity Grow Cup. This is more than just a grow—this is about pushing boundaries, learning, and sharing the magic with this incredible community. For me, it’s also a chance to reconnect with an old friend: the Zamnesia Runtz. This was one of my all-time favorite strains, a true keeper, until an unfortunate heatwave took her away. But here we are again, Runtz and I, ready to make history together. The Setup: A Glimpse of the Future To make this grow truly legendary, I’m using state-of-the-art equipment: • Lighting: The Future of Grow LED Black Series 600W or the germination, and after i am moving it all to my TM ecosystem Stay tuned, and controlled by the powerhouse TrolMaster Tent-X system, ensuring precision and optimal conditions every step of the way. • Nutrients: A custom mix of Aptus Holland and Plagron nutrients—because innovation meets reliability in this grow. • Medium: The ever-dependable Pro-Mix HP with Biofungicide and Mycorrhizae, ensuring strong roots and vigorous growth. • Germination Station: Seeds will sprout in my trusted CannaKan Germination Station, which has never let me down. Let’s Make Magic Together This is more than a diary—it’s a journey filled with learning, growth, and shared passion. I invite you to follow along not just here, but on Instagram and YouTube, where the magic will truly unfold. Expect deep dives into every step of the process, tips, tricks, and, of course, a final smoke report that’ll be as epic as the grow itself. From this moment until the last puff, this journey will be nothing short of epic. Together, let’s make it one for the history books—educational, inspiring, and unforgettable. Stay tuned for the next update: The Germination Report. Let’s rise and shine, legends! 🌟 🌱 The Germination Report: A New Beginning for the Eternity Grow Cup 🌟 First and foremost, I want to wish the best of luck to all the participants in the Eternity Grow Cup. To our incredible hosts—Grow Diaries, Plagron, and Zamnesia—thank you for creating this phenomenal platform and competition. You’re elevating the craft, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be part of it! šŸ’š The Journey Begins: Germination Success! Every great grow starts with the perfect germination, and I’m excited to share how I kicked off this legendary adventure. Using my trusted CannaKan Germination Station, I started the Zamnesia Runtz seeds—my old favorite strain—with the hope of finding a pheno as extraordinary as the passion fruit treasure I once had. The Process: My Way to Germination Glory Remember, there’s no ā€œone-size-fits-allā€ method in growing. What works best is what adapts to your environment. Here’s how I do it: 1. Choosing the Right Tools • I use the CannaKan Germination Station, a tool I trust for consistent results. • With cold temperatures in my setup, I relied on a heat mat to maintain warmth, though it was still a little nerve-wracking! 2. The 24-Hour Miracle • Within less than 24 hours, the seeds had already sprouted and were ready to move into their next home. Seeing that spark of life so quickly is always magical. 3. Moving to Soil • I carefully transplanted each seedling into tiny pots filled with Pro-Mix HP with Biofungicide and Mycorrhizae, which offers excellent aeration and support for root development. • Each pot was labeled Runtz #1–5, ensuring I can track every pheno individually as the journey unfolds. 4. Sprouting Against the Odds • Despite the cold temps, those little warriors jumped out of the soil within 48 hours! Their resilience and vigor have me beyond excited for what’s to come. Tips for Germination Success Here’s what I’ve learned to keep germination smooth: • Consistency is key: Whether it’s moisture, temperature, or light, try to create a stable environment for your seeds. • Gentle hands: Handle your seeds with care when moving them; they’re delicate at this stage. • Adapt to your environment: No method is universal—always tweak your process to fit your conditions. • Patience: Sometimes, seeds need a little extra time to sprout. Keep faith! Next Steps: The Adventure Awaits Now that the seedlings are up and thriving, it’s time to let the journey truly begin. I’ll be hunting for that passion-fruit-like pheno that captured my heart last time, but every seed holds the potential for greatness. For now, I’m keeping it simple: plain water, no nutrients—just letting them establish strong roots. Stay Tuned for the Magic This is only the beginning. I invite you to follow along on Instagram and YouTube, where I’ll be sharing photos, videos, and behind-the-scenes updates. Expect plenty of knowledge, tips, and excitement as we navigate this grow together. To all the participants: good luck, and let’s make this Eternity Grow Cup one for the history books! 🌟 Genetics - Runtz https://www.zamnesia.com/6000-zamnesia-seeds-runtz-feminized.html Nutrients - Plagron https://plagron.com/en/hobby - Aptus Holland https://aptus-holland.com/ Controls - Trol MAster https://www.trolmaster.eu/ LED - https://www.futureofgrow.com/en LED - https://www.thinkgrowled.com Soil - https://www.promixgardening.com/en Germination - Cannakan https://cannakan.com/?srsltid=AfmBOopXr-inLXajXu3QFgKXCXXos4F1oEvScjMKIB5MR5dk8-GJ-F49 DOGDOCTOR 15% off As always thank you all for stopping by, for the love and for it all , this journey of mine wold just not be the same without you guys, the love and support is very much appreciloved and i fell honored with you all in my life With true love comes happiness Always believe in your self and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart , be a giver and the universe will give back to you in ways you could not even imagine so As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Day 21 flowering: Here we are after the stretch period has slowed down and I am now the proud grower of some great looking sweet seeds buds. All of the girls are producing really good looking, healthy budlets with a couple having some very dark purple to them too. I have spent some time re training them to a more open frame so the light can reachbthe developing lowers better and the airflow can be made more fluent below decks too. G girl#1 has some very nice tops forming up now with node spacing that should bring them to a more joined up affair. her size is good and I think I could have allowed her to grow more height for her canopy. She has a fair few mains going on too. G Girl# #2 8s still way out in front in bud development and her size is on par with #1. She has remained fairly squat in size and again I feel she could have been allowed way more height. Her node spacing is perfect for creating very fat donkey colas now and they are beginning to reach each other on the stems. opening her out and only removing the damages and very big fan leaves has definately been a must do job . she is ripe for bud rot with those chunky buds and so much foliage to trap the warm air too. G Girl#3 remains the stunted sister of the grouping in her 30L pot but I do think thisbis a pheno thing and not just the smaller pot. she has a slightly lighter colour to her leaves too. She has wider node spacing than the others but this could be more about perspective of size too. G Girl#4 is turning into the stars of the show for me. I wanted to try the tie down 5th node method that I have seen done by another grower i share info with. seeing the result and how it allows the lowers to form with very little slow down for recovery as topping does. The lowers have still shot out to become mains rhe same way but her size has kept going. Her node spacing is good and again I expect some nice thick colas to form. I am getting a diesel whiff from close up so far but expect the smells to start anytime now. I am very happy with this strain so far and find it very easy to work with. They seem very happy with their soil and I did add shogun boost and pk warrior to their major feed yesterday too. Sweet Cheese is looking good. I am glad i left her to go natural too and seeing her managable height , I think this is the way to go in future with her strain. All told , this week has been good and I expect the next 5 or 6 to be even better. Be safe Growmies. Thanks for stopping by.

Hello fellow growers, I am pleased to start this new journey with you. I am also particularly excited since I am going to grow a Mephisto Genetics strain for the very first time, the famous Double Grape. I know you shouldn't believe the hype, as Public Enemy used to say, but it's hard to ignore the dithyrambic reviews when it comes to Mephisto. I sowed the seed directly in the substrate and it was popping out 3 days later. Right now the seedling is under my Mars Hydro TS1000, brightness set at 25%, lights are 80cm away. During my last grows I set it up to the max at all stages of growth, this time I decided to proceed differently and increase gradually. Please let me know in the comments if you think I should just push it to the max right away. I would like to thank HESI nutrients team for sending me a great Starter Pack! Shout out to Hesi_Official, can't wait to test your products! Thanks for reading and stay tuned for weekly updates! šŸ˜Ž

April 27 - May 2 This week I didn't think that she would bulk up anymore, but she absolutely did. Fat and sticky. Even the buds under the canopy got fat and super frosty. The only problem is that they are light green because they hardly have any light from no defoliation. The purple color change is crazy. People said it's from the strain and cool temps. Anyway, She's on the last stretch and about to be on her way to graduation. Wish her luck šŸ¤ž.

Hope you are well. Thanks for taking the time. Little main line defoliation to focus growth. A cell is a quantum measuring device for light’s frequency to make order from the chaos that light frequencies bring from our environment. A cell performs mechanical resonance, where its intrinsic structures vibrate at specific resonant frequencies when exposed to external mechanical stimulation. Cells possess the ability to sense and respond to mechanical cues from their environment, a process known as mechanosensing. This can involve the activation of signaling pathways and changes in gene expression. Cellular resonance is a component of mechanotransduction, the process by which cells convert mechanical force into a biochemical signal that triggers a cellular response. Plants perceive mechanosensory stimuli, such as vibration and touch, through structures like trichomes (hairs) and specialized ion channels embedded in their cell membranes. Plants are sensitive to frequencies ranging from ultrasound to lower sound waves, such as 250 Hz. The perception depends on various factors, including the stiffness of the underlying tissue, which can be tuned by the plant to perceive specific frequencies associated with environmental cues like insect herbivory. While the exact molecular mechanisms are still being explored, scientists have identified several potential pathways that may be affected by acoustic vibrations in this frequency range: 4000-5000 Hz. Enzyme activity: Sound waves can increase the activity of certain enzymes, such as amylase, and elevate the content of soluble sugars and proteins. Increased stomatal opening in response to specific frequencies can optimize photosynthesis by increasing the plant's absorption of water and CO2. In addition to enhancing drought tolerance, sound vibrations can strengthen plants' overall resistance to stress. Studies have shown that some genes related to stress response can be activated by sound stimulation. The Emerson effect is a phenomenon where the combination of red and far-red light increases the rate of photosynthesis beyond the sum of the two wavelengths used separately. This synergy is important for understanding Extended Photosynthetically Active Radiation (ePAR), which includes the far-red spectrum, because it means a more comprehensive measurement is needed to fully understand light's effect on plant growth. ePAR meters measure light up to 750 nm, which is necessary to capture the far-red light that participates in the Emerson effect. The human eye can detect more shades of green than any other color due to a combination of our cone cell sensitivity and evolutionary history. Our eyes are most sensitive to the yellow-green part of the spectrum, which is the peak of our visual sensitivity, and a large part of our ancestry was spent needing to distinguish subtle variations in greenery for survival. or our primate ancestors, being able to discern subtle differences in green was crucial for survival. It helped them identify edible plants and avoid poisonous ones, as well as detect predators hiding in foliage. This constant need to distinguish shades of green drove the evolution of our color perception to become most sensitive to it. S-cones: Detect short wavelengths, perceived as blues and violets. M-cones: Detect medium wavelengths, perceived as greens. L-cones: Detect long wavelengths, perceived as reds and yellows. The primary reason for our enhanced sensitivity to green is that the peak sensitivities of the M-cones and L-cones are very close together in the green-yellow region of the visible spectrum. This overlap means that green light stimulates both the M-cones and L-cones, creating a more robust and detailed signal for the brain to interpret. In contrast, the S-cones are more isolated and respond to a much narrower band of light, leading to less sensitivity for blues. The brain's visual processing pathways also play a role. Our visual system processes color differences through "opponent channels," which compare the signals from different types of cones. The opponent channel that processes red versus green has a more precise and intricate system than the blue versus yellow channel, leading to finer discrimination in the green part of the spectrum.
