🌱 Amnesia Skunk — Grow Update Week 6 From Seed · 12/12 From Seed (Early Flower / ~Week 2 Flowering Transition) Quick Recap (for new joiners) This run is 12/12 from seed, and we are now at Week 6 from seed, which places us roughly in early flower / second week of flowering transition, depending on how one prefers to count. No aggressive interventions, no forcing. This grow is based on observation, leaf positioning, and letting the plant express herself naturally. Amnesia Skunk has shown: • Strong vertical intent • Beautiful internodal spacing • A structure that responds extremely well to simple leaf bending She is clearly in flower mode now and transitioning smoothly. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Update (and Why It Matters) • Day temperature: ~28°C • Humidity: ~65% Outside temperatures are still on the cooler side, but inside the room things have shifted naturally. As plant mass increased, lighting intensity was raised, and under-canopy lighting was introduced, the room itself became a stable heat source. This allowed us to raise temperatures without adding external heating or forcing conditions. This balance is important because it keeps plant metabolism active but relaxed, especially during early flower. VPD Perspective At ~28°C and ~65% RH, we are sitting in a comfortable early-flower VPD range, supporting: • Active transpiration • Nutrient mobility • Strong gas exchange Nothing extreme, nothing restrictive. ⸻ 💡 Lighting & Atmosphere (Why These Numbers Work) • PPFD: ~600–850 (depending on plant size and position) • CO₂: ~900 ppm The PPFD range allows: • Smaller or lower sites to stay productive • Taller tops to push without stress This avoids the classic mistake of lighting only for the tops and forgetting the rest of the plant. CO₂ at ~900 ppm is intentionally moderate, not excessive. At this stage, it supports: • Faster carbon assimilation • Better light-use efficiency • No need to overfeed to “match” the CO₂ Everything stays balanced. ⸻ 🌬️ Airflow Strategy (This Is Not Random) • Vortex extraction • Cross-winds with multiple fans • Constant, gentle movement across the canopy The goal here is movement, not wind. Vortex extraction keeps fresh air cycling efficiently, while cross-winds prevent: • Microclimates • Stagnant humidity pockets • Weak stem development Leaves move gently, stems strengthen naturally, and flowers stay dry and comfortable as they form. Fresh air, no stress, no stagnation. ⸻ 💧 Feeding & Nutrition Strategy (Why the Change Now) • EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 This week marks a clear nutritional transition, guided by plant signals rather than calendar dates. Why pH 6.0+ from now on? As plants enter flower, nutrient uptake priorities shift: • Less focus on pure vegetative nitrogen pathways • More demand for elements tied to flower formation, enzyme activity, and energy transfer A slightly higher pH improves availability and balance of these elements in soil-based systems. The plant is clearly asking for it — posture, color, and growth rate all confirm this. ⸻ 🌱 Nutrient Change Explained • Removed: Terra Grow • Introduced: Terra Bloom — 5 ml/L Why remove Terra Grow now? Terra Grow is nitrogen-forward, designed to push vegetative mass. At this stage, excess veg-driven nitrogen can: • Delay flower focus • Encourage unnecessary leaf production • Blur the plant’s hormonal transition Why introduce Terra Bloom now? Terra Bloom supports: • Flower site development • Structural energy needs • Balanced nutrition without over-pushing foliage This is not a shock change. It’s a handover, and the plant is responding cleanly. ⸻ 🌿 Plant Structure, Leaf Work & Expression Amnesia Skunk continues to show excellent structure. • Leaf bending is the primary training method • No topping chaos, no forced stress • Just guiding light and space This method has: • Opened the canopy naturally • Preserved apical dominance while improving lateral exposure • Allowed the plant to stay confident and upright A few fan leaves were removed during photography — not as a defoliation event, but because they were funky, expressive, and worth documenting. Those leaves tell a story: • Healthy venation • Strong turgor • No deficiency signals • No toxicity They reflect a plant that is fed, lit, and aired correctly. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect Next Expect: • Continued flower site stacking • Gradual stretch control through posture, not force • Increasing resin activity as flower identity locks in Do NOT expect: • Aggressive defoliation • Sudden stress techniques • Chasing numbers for the sake of charts This run stays calm. The plant leads, we follow. ⸻ 🙏 Final Words Thank you to: • Newcomers discovering this diary • Old souls following quietly • The curious, the critical, the supportive • Genetics, gear, sponsors • And the community as a whole It’s genuinely a privilege to share this space and this process. Amnesia Skunk is doing her thing — and she’s doing it beautifully. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. https://lumatek-lighting.com/ <3 <3 <3 Growers love to you all <3 <3 <3 Tropicana Cookies Auto is the perfect variety for growers of all levels, especially beginners as this strain performs very well outdoors and indoors, and can produce up to 500gr/m2 in 56-63 days without needing extra maintenance. Reaching up to 110cm, this strain grows fairly tall with medium-sized branching, showing its mixed heritage. Definitely the right choice for those with a high tolerance looking to get their hands on the strongest autoflowers out there. Thanks to the 27% THC, you can expect an extremely powerful and long-lasting high that’ll boost your mood and give you that extra push you need to start your days on the right foot. This variety offers the whole range of citrusy and woody flavors with a strong candy-sweet background that will keep you coming back for more and more. Bud description Tropicana Cookies Auto produces gorgeous dark purple flowers, so expect really dark buds with gorgeous hues of pink, purple and blue, and thick dark-orange hairs that get completely covered in resin by harvest time, giving them an almost shiny-white appearance. This variety develops a typical Indica-like structure and very few sugar leaves that will make your trimming sessions a breeze. But make sure to store your trimmings as the gorgeous flowers reek of a mouth-watering blend of lemon peels, orange juice, and sandalwood that gives it almost a citrus candy-like flavor that makes for the most aromatic hash and extractions.Smoke report Thanks to the 27% THC, Tropicana Cookies Auto’s effect starts with an energizing head rush that gets your mind up and running while leaving you in a nice calm state. As the Indica-dominant side kicks in, the powerful cerebral effect gradually moves downwards and hits your whole body with a deep relaxation that leaves you with a joyful stoney sensation that alleviates chronic pain while leaving you in an overall happy and positive state of mind. It’s the perfect daytime and nighttime strain as it can boost your mood and enhance a night out with friends but can also quiet your mind as you get ready for a good night of sleep. No matter the scenario, expect a powerful high that lasts for hours on end.Plant appearance Tropicana Cookies Auto reaches up to 110cm and develops a tall main cola with shorter side branches, typical of hybrid strains. You can expect a stocky yet tall main cola with medium-sized side branches and thin fan leaves that fade into a yellowish hue with a beautiful dark purple tint. Thanks to the excellent selection, this variety develops a short internodal spacing that makes the medium-sized flowers look like they’re growing stacked on top of each other. It’s the ideal choice for growers who want to get big yields without having to deal with huge plants, as this monster yielder can produce up to 150g per plant while growing relatively short. Grow tips This variety grows super dense buds so make sure to space out the branches by tying them down, this way you improve airflow which helps prevent mold and other pests. Tropicana Cookies auto reek of a delicious sweet and sour smell so make sure to flush thoroughly to enhance the aromas even more. This terpene heavyweight finishes with lots of resinous sugar leaves that make for fantastic hash and extractions so remember to have your trim bucket ready!Flavor Tropicana Cookies Auto boasts remarkably sweet flavors that resemble a blend of lemon peels and fresh orange juice, with subtle floral undertones that make it the perfect choice for extractors looking for unique terpene profiles. Expect an overall citrusy zest that’ll coat your whole mouth and leave a delicious tropical candy-like flavor aftertaste. The sweet and sour flavors get balanced out with a herbal background that gets stronger as you exhale and gradually opens up, bringing out the whole range of woody, floral, and spicy flavors, making it the perfect choice for the most flavorful extracts.

On flower day 60, it was finally time. Three days before the final cut, I did a last light watering with plain water. The last 36 hours, the lights stayed on. In the end, I had around 20–30% amber trichomes. I'm super happy with the result. Trim jail was exhausting but totally worth it. The harvest is now right in the middle of curing. As for the smell: a sharp, earthy, leathery diesel mix with hints of lemon. The fuel note is, to my delight, much stronger than expected. Incredibly sticky buds. Sparkling flowers. Thanks so much for following along with the grow journal! Maybe it'll help someone with planning or give a general preview for a future grow of this strain. Much love and happy growing!

Hi guys!!!!! I am thrilled to share with you my experience so far growing the Auto Lavender from Seeds Mafia Genetics <3 <3 <3 Although she may be growing at a slower pace, I have faith that with my love and care, she will continue to thrive. As I have been nurturing this beautiful Girl, I have begun to notice some changes in her growth patterns. One of the things I have started doing is bending her leaves gently to encourage growth in certain areas. And let me tell you, it's amazing to see how this little plant responds to my touch with such grace and resilience. I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of her journey, to watch her grow and develop day by day. It's a labor of love, and one that I take very seriously. As we continue on this journey together, I am reminded of the importance of patience and persistence. Growing cannabis is not always easy, and there may be setbacks along the way. But with dedication and hard work, we can overcome any obstacles that come our way. So, here's to my beautiful Auto Lavender Girl!!!!! <3 <3 <3 May she continue to thrive and grow under my care, and may we all find joy in the process of nurturing and caring for our beloved plants. https://lumatek-lighting.com/ <3 <3 <3 Growers love to you all <3 <3 <3 Auto Lavender Feminized is a very popular type of cannabis, whose strong therapeutic effects are highly appreciated. It has a flowering period of approximately 9-10 weeks and can be grown both indoors and outdoors. It is a resistant variety which can be cared for easily. This variety is mostly appreciated because it produces strong, durable and resistant plants. Its branches and stem usually grow vertically rather than horizontally. It reaches heights of 120 cm and the harvests amount to 90 grams/plant. In addition, it contains high levels of THC- up to 20%. As their name suggests, the plants that grow from Auto Lavender Feminized seeds have a smell and taste similar to those of lavender, also comprising mint and rosemary tones. This is a variety of cannabis that is usually appreciated for its pleasant fragrance and high productivity, seeing as its buds and stem produce an impressive quantity of resin. If you’re looking for another kind of feminized, autoflowering variety, Auto Lavender Feminized will not disappoint you for sure! auto Lavender Feminized is a feminized, autoflowering variety, obtained by crossing the Lavender and Lowryder 2 species. The plants that grow from this variety have a very specific structure: they are tall, vigorous, and have large branches. At the end of the flowering period, the plants acquire an orange-gold shade.

3/4/2023 Week 3- Day 1 of Veg (Day 31 overall) Water Change out Day 36 Gallons in CalMag = .5Mil/Gal = 18Mil FloraMicro = 4.2Mil/Gal = 151Mil FloraGrow = 3.8Mil/Gal = 137Mil FloraBloom = 3.0Mil/Gal = 108Mil PH DOWN = 1.72Mil/Gal = 62Mil PPM = 546 PH = 5.88 This Grow has definitely been an interesting grow I have been playing with Over or Under since the beginning and it all started with me drowning the plants by adding too much water. I will have to make sure I watch that on all my future grows. I prayerful that this week will get me fully back on track, in my previous grows using my chart, I haven't had any issues during this week, so again prayerful that this is the week I am back on point. 3/5/2023 Week 3- Day 2 of Veg (Day 32 overall) ROOT ROT!!! I guess from when I drowned it I caused a lurking issue that really showed it's head today. The roots were looking not slightly bleached but looking black. I cut out what looked dead and I had to run to the local Hydro shop to pick up some items to see if I can fix it and strengthen the plants. I picked up Mammoth Silica, ORCA, and ROOT Drip. I completely drained the system and started it over today as well. 38 Gallons In Mammoth Silica = .5Mil/Gal = 19Mil CalMag= .5Mil/Gal = 19Mil Root Drip = 1Mil/Gal = 38Mil FloraMicro = 4.2Mil/Gal = 160Mil FloraGro = 3.8Mil/Gal = 144Mil FloraBloom = 3.0Mil/Gal = 114Mil Orca = .5Mil/Gal = 19Mil PH Down 60 Mil = PH 5.83 I also had to run by Staples I realized the paper I was using wasn't the right brightness and Lbs for the Photon App. What I needed to have 22Lbs 98 Bright. I recently saw a comparison of the different weight papers against a several hundred dollar Apage PPFD detector and with the right paper it was almost exact readings. With that my PPFD 355. 3/6/2023 Week 3- Day 3 of Veg (Day 33 overall) Still alive!! #2 and #3 are still alive and it looks like no further damage to any of the leaves. #2 needed 1 node topped. I will keep monitoring day to day. 3/7/2023 Week 3- Day 3 of Veg (Day 34 overall) Well Both appear to be doing all right. I cut off the offensive leaves from #3 nothing new on shown on the leaves. I actually needed to top 1 node on #2. PH is stable, Temps are stable.. I will be changing out the water and Nutes on Saturday not waiting the 2 weeks. 3/8/2023 Week 3- Day 4 of Veg (Day 35 overall) Well Both appear to be doing all right. I actually needed to top 1 node on #3 and 2 on #2. PH is stable, Temps are stable.. I will be changing out the water and Nutes on Saturday not waiting the 2 weeks. I think the additives are truly making a difference I think I will be adding them to all my grows from here on out. 3/9/2023 Week 3- Day 5 of Veg (Day 36 overall) Both still appear to be on the mend Still some dark brown on a small part of the roots and I don't know if those are just dead but it doesn't look like it is spreading and I see a bunch of new roots forming. Nothing new on the leaves at all. So I think the trio that I added is helping. The plants also seem to be in raised happy position going towards the light. I still plan to change the water on Saturday and go from there. 3/10/2023 Week 3- Day 6 of Veg (Day 37 overall) Moved the light up to 41 1/2" so 3' 4 1/2" away from the top of the Plants. PPFD= 363 Power on my Light =62.5 Water Temp is holding steady=70.3 PPM= 534 PH= 5.92 Tent Temp= 72.5 Humidity= 50-60% I have 2 humidifiers running on INK Bird controllers monitoring it 24/7. I will be changing out the water tomorrow even though I could let it go an extra week but I am still concerned that the Root Rot is clearing up and I don't want to risk it coming back. I want fresh Nutes/ water in the tanks. I topped 2 nodes on #3 I topped 3 Nodes on #2 I also cleaned out some of the bottom third portion that isn't getting much light and not much growth at all. #2: 8 1/2" tall, 18" Wide #3: 7 1/2" Tall, 15" Wide

Wrapping up week 10 flower. Her buds are ripening up nicely. Looking really yummy overall. Subconsciously I have been worried she wasn't going to finish up before I go on my Disney trip! I was overfeeding & cooked a lot of the supporting leaves. Mostly on the main top but in a few other areas as well. So she had RO water only for 3 days this week. I also switched from feeding Big Bud coco to feeding Overdrive. She's responded well. You think i'd know by now that you can't rush the process!!! 🙃 Live & Learn
