I had encountered some problems with my homemade potting soil suddenly my plants suffered.I changed potting soil to go to plagron light mix, it's starting to get back in shape, so I left on the same occasion, changed fertilizer, I went to hesi. I wanted to try to make my own substrate but I shouldn't have because between the ph and the earth it didn't go at all.Now I'm happy because she's better. So first week of flower or pre flower maybe?? But whatever it is they are now outside and getting direct sunlight from about 10am to 4pm and loving it. They started off this week looking a little yellow on the new growth but by Wednesday all the leaves are nice and green. Got the day off tomorrow so think I'll do a light defol and have another look at the lst wires. The mother of this clone is about a week away from harvest (my first ever harvest!!) And she smells great, everytime I walk outside. Looking forward to a comparison, my first soil harvest and my first hempy 1 after another. So I just got 2 feeds in this week, had some rain which kept the coco moist for longer so now we wait. Thanks for stopping in 👍

6/13 - It's the beginning of week 3 and 2 of my 3 Jack Herers are suffering from Zinc deficiency. I noticed this yesterday and believe this is a root issue and not a pH issue. They have most likely outgrown these little 4 inch nursery pots and used up all the nutrients in the soil. I'm about a week late in transplanting them as is. I was going to do it last week, but my schedule got thrown off. I knew I would have to leave them in a bit longer so I gave them a very light feeding last week as I was afraid to burn them. However, it turns out for these two, it most likely wasn't enough. I will be transplanting them into 1 gal pots tomorrow with brand new Roots Organic original soil amended with Roots Organics Uprising Foundation. That should take care of any issues. 6/15 - Transplanted all three Jacks into 1 gallon pots. I started with Roots Organics Original soil then added some Oregonism XL to the root ball and a good amount inside of the hole before planting. Then, I top dressed all with some Uprising Foundation also by Roots Organics. . For gnat prevention, I used Bti (Bacillus thuringiensis) aka mosquito bits. I also added some Uprising Grow, as a dry amendment to the one plant that were showing deficiencies for a little extra boost going forward. Finally, I watered everyone with compost tea that I brewed for 18 hrs. They are already looking stronger and healthier.

Everything is working well, the white flyes are extinct for now. Got a bit of spotting here and here that i presume is from the neem but not sure. Runoff is getting out in the same value as the input, and PH is not dropping, but I suspect to have a bit of salt buildup. I have diled a bit back on the base for 2ml/l, leaf color is great. Have to travel soon so I’m putting up a irrigation sistem to help out in this 7days that i will be away...

Por supuesto el ph se mide en cada riego y se mantiene en 6.2, regando cada 72 horas e intentando mantener la humedad un poco alta al principio. Las 5 empezaron a tirar pelitos, se las ve bien sanas tienen buen color y tamaño bueno, seguirán creciendo estas semanas espero. Las próximas semanas vamos viendo cómo avanzan. 2 of dem from the 2nd set don't seem to catch dem self yet🤷🏾‍♂️ but the rest are taking off....those from the 1st set still ain't transplanted and they are pushing hard ties ain't holding dem back. 2 that where transplanted previously jus tryin to get dem a good size n send dem on a breeding project for the beginning of the Most of new cutting have visible root

I have been using LST in the form of a fan on medium speed to try and strengthen the main stalk of the plant as well as planter rotation to strengthen the main stalk for tie down LST. So far I've been impressed with the rate of growth and the overall experiment. For what it's worth, the growth wth is very very similar to a hydroponics growth. I'm sure as the experiment continues I'll notice some big differences. It does appear to have either a minor potassium deficiency or a little too much nitrogen. Will monitor and update as needed. The above signs may have been trying to indicate the main stalk was weakening from too much weight from vertical grow rate. This would ultimately lead to a fractured stalk. Is this what happened or is it a fungus or disease problem? Plant C sprouted within 48hrs and will be 6 days behind Plant A. End goal of harvest is still 360g from the two plants combined. Both plants are looking very happy regardless of the toxicity or deficiency. Strong strain nonetheless.

Amazing the difference a week can make on some of these plants. She beautiful and getting gassy already. Lowered the temp to 72. Juice is still pumping

Sie ist noch nicht ganz bereit fürs toppen, aber ich schneid ihr trotzdem die Haare.

This strain was easy to grow. I started out without an hygrometer. Due to delivery problems i had it very late and my girl noticed that becauce the envirement wasnt optimal for her. She did survive that period, after that she got defoliated multiple times, and i got really rough with her sometimes and broke of some stems, and that was no problem for her. I also had an encouter with thousands of thrips, which i had to nuke to remove them from my girl and she didnt even bother. In veg she was a good to handle, in flower it was a little bit harder and i think she likes alot more PK at the end of her lifetime than i offered her. But thats more of a guess. The smell matches more a cross between blueberry and lemon kush in my opinion. The gelato part is not so noticable at the end of the road.(for me atleast) But the blue in other hand is very dominant and strong by smell and taste. I ended up with hardrock buds even the smaller ones, so im very happy with the outcome. Because of my thrips invasion and usage of bioquant, i wanted to wash my buds for once to clean of all the dirt, dust, insect remains and other particles that shouldnt be in my bud. I did the oh so underrated BUDWASH, and wauw if would deffinatly recommend it to every grower with just a few plants. It really cleans your buds without effecting your potency, terps and overall buds. I also noticed that all buds dried at the same rate cause of the evenly spead moisture i guess. I ended up with 48.34 grams of hard and dry buds I took about 10 grams and turned it into superdelicious rosin because i also love to dab 😍 Thank you growdiaries for this amazing platform. Woche 4 Dem kleinen Pflänzchen geht es sichtlich gut. Aus 4 wird 8 gemacht. Damit sie den Stress etwas besser verkraftet gibt es vor und nach dem Schnitt Hesi Root. Ebenso noch einmal vor und nach dem anstehenden Umtopfen in 20l Stofftöpfe. Tag 26 Wohl doch nur 7 ½. 😄

Ich bin mal gespannt, wie hoch es noch hinaus geht.

Entering third week...all of my plants have developed second pair of leaves and third one is growing already! Had an issue with watering as in first week I have overwatered, last week I have underwatered. One of the plants is significantly behind other two, however I hope that she will survive. 14.10. - Starting with 1ml/l of Bio Grow and Bud Candy to see how they'll respond. Also done the first LST. 10.10.2023 - 16.10.2023

Week 3 of veg. They seem to react well to the nutrients. For now i'm happy, can't wait for the flower phase.

The stretch is done, and it’s time to start packing on buds. She’s not super smelly, like her older sister before her. 5 or so weeks to go. I just made the last ounce from the last plant into butter. Incredible stuff
