Week 8 / Flower Week 2 The middle plant is clearly shorter than the other two, but after measuring PPFD this turned out to be no issue. Plant heights were left 59 / middle 40 / right 55 cm with lamp distances of 32 / 55 / 34 cm. The strongest light is in the center, and despite the height differences the average light distribution is very even. PPFD averages were around left ~400 / middle ~415 / right ~380, and after I raised 2 levels up to ~500 / ~525 / ~545 µmol/m²/s Stretch is slowing down and the plants are clearly moving into early flower. During the week I removed yellow and dead leaves and started lollipopping. The lower third was cleaned up and the left plant was lollipopped a bit more. The other plants will be cleaned up further over the next days I think, step by step. I also raised the middle plant slightly at one point to get it closer to the light and improve airflow, which helped after cleaning up the lower part. Watering and feeding followed the HESI schedule. The plants were watered three times this week: At the start of the week, about 10 L with nutrients. Mid-week, roughly 7 L of pH-adjusted water only. On the day of writing this report, end of the week, they were watered again with nutrients at half strength .pH around 6.0-6.5. Yellow sticky traps were added as a preventive measure. Overall I’m happy with how this week went. Everything feels well set up and I’m curious to see how the left plant responds to the more intense lollipopping, since this is the first time I’ve gone this far. I also want to dig deeper into the HESI feeding schedule, I think there’s some room to improve. Thanks for reading, if you made it this far. See you next week 🤘🏼💚

18/05/2023 Day 36 - Today i finally fed her after 1 week without feeding. Kept almost the same feeding from last week, just removed root juice and alg-a-mic and rised MagNifiCal to 1,5 ml/L Day 37 - Today she stretched nicely and i noticed her first pre flowers so preflowering begins, next fedding i´ll add 1ml/L Alga Bloom and Top-Max and will slowly rise up to 4ml/L Day 39 - Today i fed her again, added 1ml/L Alga Bloom and 1ml/L Top-Max and rised MagNifiCal to 1,8 ml/L. Has been hot and dry these days. (for my zone). Day 40 - She´s growing well. This afternoon i sprayed under her leafs with Alg-a-mic. Soon i´ll defoliate her, so i want to give a good dose of vitamin b so she recovers beautifully. Day 41 - This morning sprayed her again before sunrise. I wont defoliate yet. Pot is already kind of light, so tomorrow is feeding day. Day 42 - Today i defoliated, did some LST and fed her. Added 0,5 ml/L Alga Bloom, making 1,5 ml/L in total. 😃

The lady went into the drying tent this morning. I exceeded the suggested 6-7 weeks (flowering) by 4-5 days because I wanted to wait until she reaches 20-25 % amber this time. Despite all the issues caused by my mistakes, she managed to grow healthy looking frosty buds. This pheno was definitely not the biggest producer thoguh but the smell is absolutely top notch.

Hey guys and welcome to start of Week 8! 🌻 Today is day 21 of flower so i went ahead and cut most of the plats Fanleaves off. It took a while but now the Airmovement is improved and the humidity should also be lower. I also hope I didn‘t stress them too much. From now on they will be reseaving less and less Nitrogen going forward. I hope the colours come through as well 🤞🏻 Thanks for following along and I will keep updating the progress. Happy growing 🍀

Greetings, green enthusiasts! Welcome to another exhilarating update on the growth journey of my P.C.R.s. Buckle up, because things are about to get exciting! I'm thrilled to report that our P.C.R. plants are thriving in their third week of veg like never before. Their vibrant green hues are a sight to behold, and I can't help but marvel at their progress. But the real magic happened when I transplanted them into their final pots—the roots were an absolute spectacle, white and luscious, like something out of a dream. Aptus Holland, you've outdone yourself once again! Speaking of Aptus Holland, let's talk about the secret sauce behind this green revolution: the Aptus Holland products. My love affair with Aptus Holland runs deep, and it's all thanks to their innovative and effective plant nutrition solutions. When it comes to nurturing my girls, nothing else comes close. Let's start with the star of the show—the Aptus All-in-One pellets. These little powerhouses are packed with essential nutrients, providing a balanced diet for my plants and ensuring they have everything they need to thrive. Combined with the Mycor Mix powder, they create the perfect symbiosis, enhancing root development and nutrient uptake to levels that even I couldn't imagine. But that's not all—I've also added a touch of Aptus substrate buffer powder to the mix, ensuring that my super soil recipe is dialed in for maximum performance. With this concoction, I'm confident that magic is bound to happen in the days to come. Of course, I can't forget to mention the Aptus Holland Veg Mix, which continues to be my go-to solution for watering. With each application, I'm providing my plants with a carefully balanced blend of nutrients, setting the stage for vigorous growth and robust health. Now, let's talk numbers. My TDS is currently hovering around 370, while the pH remains a stable 5.8. The plants are drinking more Still trying to find the best nutrient feeding schedule. I noticed the leaves were turning light green after i took the nitrogen level down so i put it back up a little. I defoliated this week only removing the leaves in the middle and top that are blocking other bud sites. took only a few off each plant so the plant doesn't stress out. I left the bottom larger leaves on the plant so it takes the nutrients from the bottom first before the rest of the plant when its deficient, That way only the bottoms will turn color instead of my whole plant. Thats just the way i like to do the defoliation but i know everyone has their own ways :) Next week I will defoliate once again.

December 20, Day 106 This week is a big challenge week. Nutrients are changing. Strawberry Gorilla: Day 5 Drying Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 is nearly ready for flush. I added plain water to the reservoir today. I want to start clearing out the soil of all of its nutrients. This is living soil, but ice been spending the last 3 months adding bottled nutrients. I'll most likely keep plain water for the week and then I'll use Flawless Finish. For now it's just plain water. Her buds are really starting to look great. The pistils are starting to shrivel up and the aroma is getting super strong. She's still shedding leaves. None today, but I haven't really inspected her much. Not much to inspect to be honest. She looks great and is just packing on weight now. Number 2 is being moved to Overdrive today. Big Bud has been removed. Overdrive will be used for the next two weeks. Then flush. Her colas are huge and dense. There's a couple tops that look to be well over a foot long. However, those tops are too close to the light. So I'm sure they will foxtail on me. As long as the rest of the plant doesn't foxtail, I'll be very happy. It really doesn't look like I'll see any foxtails, but you never know. She got a full top feed with Overdrive and Recharge. Reservoir refill as well. It was indeed empty this morning. She is still a super thirsty girl. I'm still unsure about defoliating at the end of flower. I've been getting a lot of "don't do that's". I'll keep the question open until it's time for me to defoliate if I do at all. Maybe I'll defoliate just a couple days before harvest. I'm definitely taking all the fan leaves off before harvest. There are hundreds of them. That's my concern without defoliation. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.7° RH: 46.4% VPD: 1.43 kPa December 21, 2023 Absolutely nothing going on today. Strawberry Gorilla: Day 6 Drying Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 is looking great! She's definitely ready for flushing. I'll start the Flawless Finish in the next watering. I just have to wait for the reservoir to dry out and the soil to dry out some. Number 2 is her beastly self as ever. Nothing really to report today. Great cola production, smell is getting stronger and her water intake is as strong as ever. She hasn't touched the reservoir yet. It seems like an every other watering, the reservoir is completely left alone. She's already down to 22% moisture level. It's crazy how thirsty she is. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.6° RH: 45.6% VPD: 1.45 kPa December 22, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 7 Drying I didn't snap test today. She is very close to done drying. Maybe a couple more days. Maybe a little less. Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 looks like she's almost ready to go. Flushing has commenced. I removed the wick system and emptied the reservoir. Now it's top feed Flawless Finish for the next week or two. I got some trichome pics with my new microscope. My photography sucks, so the majority are blurry. I'll post the good ones. Number 2 needed a top feed today. The reservoir is just under half full now. Around 1.5 gallons every other day. It feels more like a gallon a day. She's still super thirsty. The buds are getting pretty dense and heavy now. A couple branches are starting to get weighed down. One of them will absolutely need support. The others should be fine. At this point in the grow, it's really a matter of watering and clearing out the dead leaves. Not much else to do except stare in awe of the masterpiece of a tree I have created. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.7° RH: 45.6% VPD: 1.45 kPa December 23, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 8 Drying Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 got a full top feed gallon of Flawless Finish today with some runoff. She has amber trichomes, lots of cloudy and just a few clear. She will be ready in about 7 or so days. She looks great! More weight gain. Especially in the lower buds of the canopy. I'd also like to note how vibrant her pistils are. Such a bright orange with the light they look like they are glowing. Number 2 is insanely thirsty. She needed another gallon of water and a full reservoir refill. So she is definitely drinking a gallon of water now. There was a bit of runoff, but not much. Today she was at 20% moisture content. I normally wait for 15% to 18% but today, I really wanted some runoff. The goal is to get both the wick system active and the soil to reset itself with more moisture. That should last a couple days. Other than that, her colas are insanely large now. They are dense and fat. Although, the tallest cola absolutely has light burn. The very top is white and fluffy. Definitely bleached. Now I know what that looks like. However, the rest of the cola looks fantastic. Just the very top is no good. That's ok though. There's plenty to go around. She still has like 4 weeks left. Including the flush stage. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.5° RH: 43.3% VPD: 1.50 kPa December 24, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Complete Trimmed and jarred at 41 grams. Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 is doing well. There was quite a bit of runoff yesterday. Well, more than I thought. I think I need to wait for her to really dry out before another flush. She hasn't started fading yet, but I expect it to start in the next week or so. She's still packing on weight from what I can tell. Not much, but the lower branches are starting to lean a tiny bit. I can assume a bit more while she finishes up. Number 2 looks fantastic. Her colas are getting fatter everyday. Also, I'm not seeing any swelling yet. Just growth. She will be needing a top watering tomorrow. The bottom feed system is working, but not as well as I'd like. Other than that. Not much going on today. Just trimming Strawberry Gorilla 1. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.5° RH: 45.8% VPD: 1.44 kPa December 25, 2023 Strawberry Gorilla: Day 1 Curing Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 got a full gallon top flush. Not much runoff as I expected. I'll wait a good 3 to 4 days before I flush again. She doesn't seem to be ready for the fade yet, but her leaves are starting to lighten up a bit in some places. I expect her to start fading in a few days. She has a good week left so there should be some really pretty colors before the end. Also, her buds are definitely getting heavier. I have a couple more branches that are starting to sag a bit from the weight. Number 2 got a full top feed today. No reservoir though. That's more than half full. Her colas are getting huge. Every single one is super dense and identically shaped. They are all around the same size as well with the exception of a few larger ones in the back. The largest will definitely suffer light burn for the rest of the grow. However, it's still getting super fat. I'll just cut the bleached parts off when I harvest. Still a super nice cola. I'm wondering if I should have kept up with the Big Bud for another week. But I believe Overdrive is for the bulking stage and not Big Bud. So maybe I did it right. Who knows. Lol. Well, the plant knows. Anyway, she has a great smell and I couldn't be happier with her progress. The lowest parts of the plant are pretty underdeveloped. Those will most likely just go in the trim. Or I'll grind it up untrimmed and keep the kief. We shall see. Maybe I'll stick it all in a separate jar and smoke that while the rest is curing. 🤔 I also need to mention the one cola who is suffering light burn and crazy bleaching. It's only that one, but it's still pretty bad. A lesson for me as well as what it looks like for future reference. I wonder if that one cola will cause any issues for the rest of the plant. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.3° RH: 49.5% VPD: 1.33 kPa December 26, 2023 I ordered some AC Infinity supplemental lighting. I'm hoping it helps prevent too many popcorn buds. It might be too late for Gorilla Cookies 1, but The Beast has plenty of time left to bulk up and pack on weight. Strawberry Gorilla: Day 2 Curing My hydrometers are all wrong I think. None of them have the same reading, and I have no idea which one is the correct reading. They are actually pretty far apart in the humidity. 10% swings. Almost 20% in one case. It's ridiculous. And they all came from the same packaging. Shame. I just need to guess now. Great. Anyway, I'm working on it. I'll figure out which one is the most accurate and base use that for a basis. And I'll use the reading from the other ones to set a basis for them. Gorilla Cookies: Number 1 is looking good. She's hanging out finishing up. No water needed. Her lower buds are really putting on weight. Unfortunately, I wasn't paying attention and accidentally bents some branches with my leg. Some buds got popped off and a single branch broke. She doesn't seem to be affected by it, but I'll keep an eye. Honestly, there's nothing I can really do now. She's in the home stretch. She could even be harvested in the next couple days. But I'll hold off for the next week or so, maybe less. Number 2 is the same deal. Looking great, packing on weight and being her beastly self as always. She needs no water today and nothing else. Tomorrow she will be getting a dose of recharge and I think it will be the last dose for her in this run. She has about a week and a half left of bloom before the maturing stage starts I think. I could be overshooting the days by a bit, but always good to be prepared. Grow System Environment: Temp: 72.1° RH: 51.3% VPD: 1.29 kPa

Notes for flower week 8 Watering Days. All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio, or combination, of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates. These are/will be DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added-in larger, then smaller, ratios while the "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 3. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5. Day 120/50 (last feed was day 117/47) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Fed 3 gallons of purified water (starting with 17ppm) mixed with 699ppm of 100% Bloom Mix Concentrate. Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am still using 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 3.0ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to the feed then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 7.35 (7.4 last feed). I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. (a practice I am making a new feeding standard for all my plants) I got ~15 cups of runoff (~20 cups last feed). Higher runoff volume was expected with the feed volume increase, might let her go to 4 days and 2.5 next feed. It could be a result of the knitting needle treatment when feeding. Runoff was tested at 6.15ph and 2010ppm (6.10ph and 2070ppm last feed) - again thinking it could be a result of the knitting needles. Top soil tested at 6.65,6.48,6.6,6.81 for an avg of 6.635 (6.372 avg after last feed)- next feed will be 7.0ph again as I'm still liking where the ph is finally going, but rather see it closer to 6.3 or 6.4 top and bottom. I dont see any issues with the feed's data other than the possible calcium deficit and I will continue to monitor runoff ppms as I expected this to be lower with less runoff but have to consider they maybe washing out salt with the knitting needles. Next Feed should be 2.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water ph balanced to 7.1 in +4 days (124/54). I expect I will run 700ppm and 2.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) again, but expect that to be my last large feed before harvest around Christmas. Day 124/54 (last feed was day 120/50) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Fed 3 gallons of de-chlorinated tap (starting with 251ppm) mixed with 709ppm of 100% Bloom Mix Concentrate. Due to this soil showing a possible calcium deficit, I am still using 1ml per gallon add-in to test on all plants using this soil, so I added 3.0ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and 45ml of Roots Organics HP2 (0-4-0) to the feed, then I ph balanced before feeding. The ph on this feed was balanced to 7.13 (7.35 last feed). I used knitting needles to help both aerate the soil and create new water pathways for the roots. (a practice I am making a new feeding standard for all my plants) I got ~27 cups of runoff (~15 cups last feed). Higher runoff volume was expected with the feed volume increase as well as previous knitting needle aeration. Runoff was tested at 6.21ph and 2100ppm (6.15ph and 2010ppm last feed). Top soil tested at 6.57,6.41,6.3,6.39 for an avg of 6.42 (6.635 avg after last feed)- next feed will be 6.8ph as I'm still liking where the ph is finally going. I dont see any issues with the feed's data other than the possible calcium deficit Next Feed should be 2.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water ph balanced to 6.8 in +4 days (128/58). I expect I will run 400ppm and 2.5ml of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) again, but no more HP2. I expect to start flushing her out with lower nute levels from that next feed point.

Lots of work this week on keeping up on training this week, buts it’s going well! I split a fork when tying her down but the duct tape fix worked great and she didn’t exhibit any stress from it surprisingly :) Each day I tighten the bindings and then defoliate about every other or 3rd day. I keep doing 2 feeds to 1 yucca flush. She now uses 3 gallons to get my saturation and 20% runoff, about every 3 days. When I yucca flush I also foliar feed her to keep things flowing, roughly 1/8-1/4 strength of my food dosage. Foliar feed mix is yucca, kelp, fulvic acid, 1-0-0 Calmag+, and a 14-0-0 ominA. And I fed that every day for 3 days until I watered her again :) Interestingly, 3 days in a row just barely began to give her N toxicity by causing a slight clawing of the mature fan leaves, but no burn in the tip, and day 4 she was flat out again :) so it was right at the edge of useable nutrients IMO. The netting is coming along nicely, lots of weaving going on, refilling the center and spreading the mains out to the corners of the tent. Tried 2 different cloning techniques, one placing them into the peat pellets from Walmart with rooting powder, and the other is a Tupperware container filled with a PH’d weak nutrient solution, and sticking the stalks through the lid into the water. Both techniques have produced roots, peat took longer but are stronger specimens. Tupperware seemed to shock them less but roots are tiny little nodules. Thanks for stopping by and checking things out :)

I'm back! I'm sorry for taking such a long break. It wasn't planned! We had to buy weed off the street, just like old times! What a shame. We have moved and I finally have room for a new tent, this time for 3 plants! Plus matching lights. Unfortunately the exhaust is still missing, but nothing smells at the moment. So I'm waiting for the next pay cheque for that. I have Royal Queen Seeds to thank for sponsoring the seeds. I've been looking forward to trying this strain for a long time. This is my first grow using only Bio Tabs fertiliser. I've been wanting to try their range for a long time because I'm convinced it's best to use as little liquid fertiliser as possible - most of it is water and that means more weight, more transport costs and more packaging. The Just Add Water plan is also very attractive to me as I am very busy at the end of the year. So thank you for your generous sponsorship! I'm following the Just Add Water strategy as described here: https://biotabs.nl/download/biotabs-just-add-water-strategy-english.pdf?srsltid=AfmBOorA_7mskRtAlhgdfQQsUMJiwA2NEsVeEF1yRQnMUk8wb0xdv2Z0 I really liked the fact that Mycotrex is a granulate and doesn't create as much dust as other organic stimulants. As a substrate I tried the T.A. light mix - you can see a little video of it in my pictures above. I wanted an organic light mix without the peat - I know peat is great to work with, but it's also really bad for the environment, so I'd encourage everyone to try peatless mixes! Everything is now moving into the next phase, and if the plan works, there will be no work for me after next week - apart from watering. I'm so excited!

***UPDATE*** ITS CHOPPIN DAY!! Late in day 87 I was going for macros. Made the decision while seeing MANY yellow trichomes that Wedding Glue from FastBuds is DONE! Attaching pics to the beginning of the weeks uploads. She sure turned out pretty asf didn't she? Lights out occurs in like 30min, and I'm going to work through the dark period stripping the large fans off. Utilizing my green Christmas lights hung up above lol. May turn light on low for a quick pic before chopping/hanging. Next update will be harvest! 2 Girls 1 Cup week 12? Hopefully the finish is this week... My my my how WG has fattened up the last 2 weeks. Trying to get some good macros since it's too hard to hold the scope to my phone and focus everything. Probably better for the existing trics too since they're not being touched. Day 84- these trics are taking their sweet time to ripen. Was considering picking up some GHE Ripen to speed the process up.. especially because a local shop is closing and everything is 40% off. Let's keep it simple this run. I'll get some additives for the next grow to enhance GHE's perfected formulas of macro/micros in the Flora series. An update on the "sample" I clipped from WG the other day. It's not dried/cured proper. Actually been sitting in a brown bag with the outlet of the tent blowing on it lol. Can taste some vanilla in it through the chlorophyll and shit still in the flowers. VERY heady effect that hits me like a friggin wave. Creativity and energy uplifted for sure. Looking for the bodies in there too to help with pain, so we shall wait even longer for those ambers to show. ==================================================== ========================== ========================== Day 85- stepped up our hole a size or two.. lol. May bring home the step bit to drill again before a dark period at the end. The girls STINK! Getting VERY close to chopping day. Ooooh I can't wait (but I gotta). Headies lasting between 2-3hrs which is great. ==================================================== ========================== ========================== Day 86- yellowing more as the days pass. no more ambers showing yet.. wasn't able to score anything good from the local shop today since it was almost empty already. Picked up a grove bag to give it a whirl with curing. May put some in glass to compare side by side with the bags. Figured I'd give their roots an ice bath since I've done other bro science. Shit, GK still hasn't popped a nanner after all I've put her through 🤣. *edit* added some late day WG only pics to show her fall colors coming in. Moving in fast now. Gotta get back up in WG's guts now and scope the progress daily. ==================================================== ========================== ========================== Day 87- the smell in the tent has become so powerful, I next day air'd a new charcoal filter 🤣. This one was reaching the end of its lifespan anyway.. but oh boy has the aroma increased. May be starting the 48hr lights out within the next day or two from the smells of it. ==================================================== ========================== ========================== As always, thanks for stopping by and checking out my current grow. If it's your first time, check previous weeks for these girls progress throughout their lives. days 27-70 timelapse @ https://youtu.be/8JdUkR36Wfc

Grooow ! Quick cleaning was done (dead leaves, 🍁 cutting the small « suckers » so the big flowers get the energy)
