LST this week showed huge results

First time applying compost tea. I'll be applying weekly from now on, just chaning the ingredients a little beat as the plant mature.

Would definitely recommend for an easy grow. Takes forever due to 100% sativa genetics but well worth the grow. Smells just like cannalopes with a hint of cocoa and a strong dank/sour odor. High is fantastic starting and feeling heaviest right behind the eyes/sinuses. Spreads to extremities in a slight relax feeling. The taste and smell of the smoke is extremely smooth and tastes like the sour + cantaloupes. The buds have a lot of shades of green but are predominantly dark covered in crystals. Smell isn’t extremely strong in bag but once buds begin breaking apart it is almost unbearable and resin makes it hard to break apart by hand do grinder is needed.

This was another hot, hot week with a big rainstorm. Take a look at the measuring cup, it is full of rainwater. Gorilla Cookies continues to smell and is very sticky. It is a tall and lanky plant but look at the heavy buds weighing down the stems. It should be ready to take down in a couple of weeks. Half way through this grow, I had to stop using Miracle Grow and change my grow plan. I decide to use Advance Nutrients Jungle Juice for the rest of the grow. Jungle Juice’s selling point is that it is the only nutrient that I should need during the entire grow. One just need to make the solution stronger as the plant matures. The directions say to “stir vigorously” and that is true. It is very clumpy and I had to stir and shake the bottle a lot. As your plant is in veg and growing larger, directions say to up your Jungle Juice to 4 ml per liter. If my calculations are correct, I am using approx. 5 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket. 1 gal is 3.78 liters 5 gallons=18.92 liters 4ml jungle juice per liter x 18.92 liters= 75.7 ml which is = to 5.119 tablespoons per 5 gallon bucket of water As the end of the summer is quickly approaching, I have spent some time reflecting this week on all of the contests that I have entered and not won this summer. It can be a little frustrating because of all the time I have spent taking pictures and writing commentary. But, instead of it getting me down, I have to think about all of the positive take aways and I want to share them on this platform. I have read a lot of diaries and now know why I am just an apprentice. I have a lot to learn from all of you. There are some really good growers with a lot of experience and crazy grow techniques. So much knowledge is on this platform-it’s mind boggling. To be a great grower, you must be willing to be vulnerable and put yourself out there and try different suggestions and new techniques. I have made a few friend that I enjoy chatting with. I enjoy reading comments versus just seeing likes. My best friend on grow diaries is @Natrona and my neighbor as well. She has been growing longer than I have been so I routinely learn from her. This summer I learned to mix 1 cup of Perlite into my soil. I can see where my plants need the air flow. And, I now I only defoliate fan leaves that absolutely need to be gone. I let the fan leaves stay on until they fall off. I want my buds to pull all the nutrients they can out of the fan leaves. I also bought 2 new tools that @natrona suggested. The first was a water PH tester and the second was my Max-ee Magnifier which is informative and fun to use. Beide Pflanzen haben einen guten Stamm und kräftige Arme, sehen gesund aus,und wachsen, allesamt sehr aufregend ihnen zu zu schauen, Dankeschön fast buds Genetik ist unglaublich und freue mich täglich den Fortschritt im Zelt zu sehen. Hab den BioBizz Calmag nun ausgetauscht gegen den von Terra Aquatica, da dieser besser geeignet ist für Hydroponic. RLF nun bei 60%,Lichter hatte ich letzte Woche höher gehangen. Hier und da mal paar abgestorbene Blätter und Micro Buds entfernt. War eine gute Idee mit dem Hydroponic Grow, wächst deutlich besser und gesünder die Pflanze..

This was the second grow cycle of the Lemon Skunk genetics. I'm happier with the way the second run turned out compared to the first. My yield was higher and one of the phenotypes turned out some stellar top nugs. This grow took way longer than it should have and I'm to blame for some of it. I think I should have went straight to 5 gallon pots instead of hopping into the 3 gallon pots. This cost me at least 2 weeks of extra veg time, maybe more. This harvest took 21+ days to dry. That's about a week longer than last time. I've had to prepare my report early to enter the Diary of the Month. I did a smoke sesh yesterday morning on a nug that's only been curing for 3 days. I'd much rather wait a month to fire some up and let it cure properly. I didn't get many followers or comments on this grow until it was approaching the end. I got the feeling that most people don't like this strain. I'm not really fond on growing it again for various reasons. Mostly because of the amount of labor involved with the trimming portion of the harvest. Maybe I just got some bad phenotypes. I wasn't really impressed with the way the terpenes touch my palate even though it smells really loud either.

So far she’s growing great, I noticed she was a bit finicky with the nutrients at 75% strength, I noticed a couple claws here and there so I only fed big bud and sensi bloom and a little lower strength and she reacted great to it.

Hey guys, update week 2 this week I decided to do a video update to change it up, I also didnt take the plants out of the plant this week just gave water. They are all happy and grow at a nice rate, still no fertilizer just water in Sonnenerde living soil, even though the size of them compared to the pot size makes me worry a bit. Lets see what the next week has in store as we continue this journey together. I have to say I like these genetics a lot, all making nice trichomes and developing a beautiful aroma, solid plants, not one of the 4 doing funky things. Solid genetics !

GSC is basically done, just waiting for 10% amber trichomes GG4 and Kush look like they'll be while before there ready for harvest

Drunken Bitch Slap is growing great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. I switched light today to 12/12. So time to start the stretch, and flowering stages. She did get a lot of training today. From root pruning to lollipopped with a touch of defoliation, and lst. Nothing else to report at the moment. Ladies and gentlemen today is Day 70 and this baby kabul is starting to not be such a baby.. her buds are starting to swell her trichomes are starting to produce bulbs so we are nearing the last couple weeks before chop and I will say that these are some hearty genetics as you can see she is quite a little plant and has taken a lot of training very well with very little medium to work with equaling small root zone... Feeding is every morning every night to run off because she's a hungry girl and of course we're in a 30 oz cup with about 28 oz of dirt.. New week starts! ☀️12.10.2023 Pre-flowering state begins! There are white stigmas on the top of every plant. My garden is full of nice green bushes. But I'm still worring about they tall: maybe I'll use a SCROG net later, we'll see. Another deal is a roots coming from lower part of trunks. It's because of 80% humadity in the box bottom. I should mount one more ventilator to aerate it. ☀️14.10.2023 78cm tall plants are too large for my box. I considered to mount a SCROG net and another 100w LED lamp to bend them down and give more light. Pre-flowering goes on...
