day 49 just pure water phed down. it is day 51, morning before lights on, I might chop today. I use a zero water filter pitcher got off walmart. My humidifier is only a sonic wave. If you use regular tap water it will get gunky in a sonic humidifier. If you have a heat humidifier that boils the water the mist should be clean. These are the 2 types of water humidifiers. Researching best water filters this "zero water" also comes with a free ppm meter! yay! Other water pitcher brands; the water still has ppm. So water misted will still have ppm contamination. You can easily used distilled water only, and reverse osmosis. I just fill a 4gal office water jug with the pitcher and fill my humidifier when needed. I do not use a humidifier in my entire grow up to this point when I chop, I need the perfect rh or this whole effort can fail. growing up to this point only requires 20% effort, chopping now for the 2 weeks dry is this 80% of crucial determination, succeed. A lot of tasks are required today for a clean chop. I feel confident, observed my cross seeds with pink paradise and one with a slightly open caylex looks dark enough for successful germination. I figured 8-16 seeds may be created, 3-4 buds were potentially pollinated. Many growers don't understand when creating genetics with female/female there is a slight chance of herm. You lose 50% of your genetic function. Just water last 2 days, no humic no folvic, 1st time entire grow ha! There is a lot of cleaning to do, remove the trees, clean the entire tent and environment with bleach water, hacksaw. I am very proud of my grow. I have sampled 3 of the strains, dr. thunder legit made my lips numb but it could have just been the terps removing my skin cells from the sticky filter, no lie. This is my best grow to date. I did this for you, and to document hype or not under the best conditions I could give my plants, full max potential, although I wish I had more lights, I am not looking for industrial lol, this is how I grow. Learn a lot on youtube and podcasts there is many good content and I may dab into it. You can have a room full of growers and you have 1 seed in your hand, they will all tell you that their way is correct ;) and the best way. Oreo is stinky AF, Bridal is just amazing glad its massive, just not into sativa but the test seemed slight sativa with majority indica, pink untested, dr, thunder just a lip numming plant aha, its very nice, all 4 amazing appeal like advertised, and excited for next run. Either crosses from this or other copycat genetics. I will give you beautiful glamout shots today, the sizes of the plants, My guesstimate bridal 1lb, thunder 1lb, pink, 0.4lb, bridal 0.5, I am ambitious off 640w lm301h, and 4x 20w blurples daisy chained. day 51 4 chopped see you in a few weeks :D

Hey guys! Sorry for the big delay since my previous grow! Right now I'm growing some babies from Royal Queen Seeds! Kali Dog! 😃 The first week was calm! The babies broke out from their shells rather fast and two babies grew out of their jiffy pods rather fast! Also, since the strain is Kali Dog I decided to name each of the plants with a different dog name! I'm still unsure about the names but the first two are called Roko and Max! For the first time I also noticed the first buds looked... different? You'll be able to see them in the photos tho... and once again two of my babies are suffering from helmet head 😰 But eh, I'm used to it. Gladly it's an easy error to fix. I'll try to make a longer timelapse (these were bad!) but I didn't know my camera battery wasn't enough for long sessions 😝 Anyway, thanks for reading! See you all next week! 👋

Plants still growing large

The thrips infection is gone but there’re still a lot of damaged leafs as you can see in the photos/videos, but the growth hasn’t slowed down which is good. Anyway after I did some research into the big bang strain I found out that the company that sells this strain recommends “flushing” for a few days every other week starting from day 16 of flowering. This is meant to speed up bud development and I think it really did something here as the buds got twice as big. But I didn’t exactly follow their recommendations as it calls for watering the plants with large amounts of water and letting the soil dry for a few days and I don’t feel comfortable with that, so I watered them every day but made sure the soil was dry.

Popped in a day and growing strong.

Welcome to week 7! Almost time to flower and things are looking good. Since last week I did some light defoliation and cleaning up of the bottoms over a few days. I also lightly tied some of the branches out to allow a bit more light penetration but also to spread the canopy. This week (at the end of the week) the plants got one water containing a 2tsp of kelp, and 2 tsp of freeze dried coconut. The ladies also got one foliar spray with Mountain Organics sprouts, citrus and Rita oil combined with a small amount of Method 1pps (see picture in week 6). Temperature and humidity has really been steady thanks to the help of my Grow Ratio ESU and fans. Hoping I can keep this rate of growth into flower. the girls have really taken off, things are going well, just trying to deal with my humidity. I do not have a dehumidifier, and the outside % is +60%....so it hard to bring it down too much. I think I may need to purchase on in the near future. Also would like to get C02 going but realize I'll need a dehumidifier first, so I went cheap and designed a C02 generator from my wine making supplies. It's producing bubbles, as you can see in the video, but not too sure how much its contributing, especially since I have the fan on for controlling the humidity. but it was fun to build

Both are enjoying life and growing big frosty grape smelling flowers.

Weather here is still fantastic, hot days, partially cloudy, cooler nights. Long term forecast are excellent till the end of September, probably till mid October. No news to report, I'm just waiting for buds swelling, these are the slowest days of my life. The halfway point has passed, now I am just waiting for the buds to gain weight, trichomes are turning milky with few amber. Lots of beautiful brown pistils are filling the buds, a ridiculous amount of resin is covering everything (I really won't know how to handle this super sticky stuff). Unfortunately, the flower size ratio is still disadvantageous compared to that of the sisters but the structure of this plant is sublime, practically apart from slender branches, sparse and thin leaves, it is composed only of beautiful dense buds, with a perfect ovoid shape, in need of little trim. Aesthetically a feast for the eyes. The mites infection is stable. From tomorrow the definitive defoliation begins, a little at a time. Flushing started, last feed Monday 14th. Harvest time September 26/27 or earlier.

Harvest + Cure complete ✅ Smells like tart, berry on the with later hints of creamy gas. Tastes like berry with an after taste of like gassy fruit cocktail. My grow issues definitely led to some less amazing bud this time around and embarrassing yield, but I’m really content how terpy it still is!

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... Week 8! I defoliated this plant finally. It took quite a while to even go into flowering (wasn't until the 7th week), so I'm hoping I didn't defoliate too soon. Ton of little bud sites now visible. I'm so curious how it's going to mature. Mix of thunderstorms and bright sun here. It's probably getting less light than it should because I'm keeping it under the roof a lot of the day.

- A couple of branches have snapped due to LSTing. Newbie here, researched and found out branches that were not completely snapped could be saved - This led me to discover bending branches until they "kink" can actually be used as a type of LST - 5th seed ended up straightening out and grew normally. Well the girls are swelling up and smelling fantastic this week.Noticing the trichomes really building up lately.These papaya cookies are a very resilient strain as I’ve battled heat and humidity for a large portion of the grow and they have been doing great.Its been a blast watching these girls grow and develop.Will update later on in the week also I’m keeping light intensity set at 60 percent power because that’s what seems to make the happiest.Ive tried to pound them with light and added a co2 bag but they did not like the heat or extra light.I used some organic Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses to add some sugars and a dash of epsom salts for a little more Magnesium.Ive been back and forth in my brain with the light intensity and Day 52 now set at 80 percent power.Reading some reviews of this strain she is a sun lover I believe so I’m just going to let them have it.Some of the fan leaves are fried some curling and fading but the new growth looks healthy and the buds are looking amazing..I’ll give them a final haircut later on this weekend.Day 55 the buds are maturing the pistols turning bright orange and trichomes building up making some very frosty buds :).I can’t wait to smoke these girls 🥦🔥😎.

A nice strain that is very worth while growing, can take some punishment and still give a good return. The buds are top shelf stuff 👌 will definitely be growing again.
