This week I defoliated. Waited three weeks into flowering, to not stress them like I did last grow. She is rewarding me with some fat bud growth at many sites. I overwatered beginning of this week, but hey seemed to have taken it well. I did another amendment. The first one last week was a test, to see how they responded, they took it well. Just compare last week to this one. The amendment I did: - 5 liters of worm castings - 2 cups bonemeal - 1 cup wood ash - 1 cup microlife I layered this on top of my pots, covering this with bio-coco (pre fertilized) to ward of gnats. The gnats have been getting less and less. They don't like the coco that much, while humidity is just the same and last week higher since I did some more watering. I watered with the perma tea. While this is pretty acidic (PH 5), I can amend with more wood-ash, if you don't and follow this recipe, don't do too much wood-ash since it will kill off your micro organisms. I lowered the light diagonally since the outer right plant is longer and closer to it. The SP 3000 is still performing as you can see. Temps were a bit higher with the lights so low, so far the Orange Hill Special doesn't seem to mind. Im totally amazed with the results so far. Last week we started with LST and this week we will continue but also do topping.One week closer to the goal 💚

Week 7 did not go too well. I believe I ran into a heat stress issue due to the lights and I also tried some new supplements to add to the res and I ended up with some type of nute lockout.....I think. Anyway, today starts week 3 of flowering and after some more research into nutrient ratios I came up with what you see above. Now I added all of this into 16 gallons of RO water (in the correct sequence) and my EC ended up a little higher than I wanted...1.4. I was looking to stay more around 1.0, but below 1.2 regardless. So I ended up adding 3 more gallons of RO water to the mix and got my numbers looking pretty descent. I was under the assumption ww was on the smaller side of the cannabis world, but this one plant, nicknamed "HULK", seems to be the exception to the rule. Hulk is now 24 inches tall....WITH LST. There is probably another 1.5 feet of branch that is basically horizontal. Well it leaves me in a predicament. I only have 22 inches of light between the 315w CMH and Hulk. The light is as high as it can go in the tent. Well I am going to keep an eye on these girls and hopefully we will see some improvement in growth. Last week pretty much stalled. Well I will check back in and let you know how it's going. Until then just keep it growing. Jan 16 update: wow, the Hulk just keeps going 😳. The runt is still giving me issues. It looks like heat stress but not from the lights. Thinking a vpd issue. Got a thermal temp gun so I am watching for that now. Also got me a wireless camera set up now. So I can check on the girls whenever and wherever I am. Love it.

Having to constantly move the ties as each branch keeps pulling in closer together , keeping on top of defoliation starting to get a weak smell when opening the tent overall plants healthy

Day 17 All good, big and healthy Day 19 Her leaves are the largest and are touching the soil. I'm hoping her height catches up to her width Day 21 Her main stem is really thick and I think she is struggling a bit with the weight of her leaves

My Northern Lights number 10 plant is the biggest in the tent so far, and it's stacking like crazy. I love the short leaves – they're perfect for fitting a bunch of branches into a small space, even though they're really big. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.

Fun time with this gal overall! Definitely going to go for a proper run of BanDad, not 12/12 from seed - next. Didn't yield much individually, but between all 4 plants it added up to be a decent bit. Already got another BanDad in my veg tent at about week 5!

🗓️ WEEK 7 (flo) 💧 As is my usual practice during the penultimate week of flowering, I prefer to completely cut out nitrogen from the DWC reservoir. Instead, the focus shifts entirely to phosphorus, potassium, and flowering stimulators. This time, the process is quite straightforward: I'm using Green Sensation, but at a decidedly higher concentration than usual. This approach offers the benefit of working with fewer products overall and helps in reducing the potential accumulation of salts around the root zone. 🌱 Starting this week, I began closely inspecting the buds to gauge their maturity. Currently, about 20% of the pistils have browned. As for the trichomes, my assessment is approximately 15% clear, 80% milky/cloudy and 5% amber.

What up family, apologies for the late update. After being gone for a week and coming back to see these amazing girls they leave me shocked how much they've swelled in that time. Taking some out to harvest today for some fresh frozen rosin while I'll let a few still mature a little longer that'll be used for flowers. All in all Happy Growing
