🌱 Grow Diary Update — Sour Diesel Week 4 | First week of flower (12/12) This week, the spotlight is on Sour Diesel, because she clearly stood out from the rest of the room — and when one plant speaks louder than the others, we listen. ⸻ 📍 Quick recap (so everyone is on the same page) • Sour Diesel just entered week 6 / first week of flower • She was running on Autopots with mineral-only feed • Organics and amendments were removed from the Autopot system • The rest of the room handled this change fine • She did not She started showing: • Droopy posture • Loss of vigor • Early deficiency-type signals • A general “I’m not comfortable” look Important detail: 👉 She was the only plant reacting like this. ⸻ 🌿 Why this happened (the key lesson) Sour Diesel is an old-school genetic, and not all strains respond the same way to abrupt system changes. In her case: • She was previously thriving with organics + minerals • Removing organics reduced: • Nutrient complexity • Biological buffering • Availability of secondary elements • This happened right at the transition into flower, when demand increases sharply On top of that, we had environmental pressure: • Outside temps: ~4°C • Outside humidity: ~98% • Room stabilized at: 21°C / 58% RH Those conditions are acceptable — but combined with: • Feed change • Flower transition • Genetic sensitivity …it was enough for her to react. ⸻ 🚿 Why we took her off Autopots Autopots are great — but they’re not universal. We removed her from the Autopot regimen because: • She needed immediate, tailored feeding • She wasn’t responding well to mineral-only delivery • Hand-feeding lets us: • Adjust EC gently • Reintroduce organics • Observe response feed by feed This wasn’t a system failure — it was a plant-specific decision. ⸻ Current feeding strategy (now) • Medium: hand-fed (off Autopots) • EC: 1.43 • pH: 5.9 • Full recipe: organics + minerals • Added: CalMag Pro Why CalMag Pro? • We’re using rainwater + humidifier water, which is very soft • Low calcium & magnesium availability can show fast in flower • This is both: • A corrective move for her • A preventive move for the whole room Meanwhile, the rest of the Autopot system is running: • 2.29 EC • pH 6.0 • Mineral-only • Other plants are stable and happy ⸻ 🌬️ Environment (current) • Lights: stable • Airflow: good • Temp: ~21°C • RH: ~58% Nothing extreme — but this shows how context + timing + genetics matter more than numbers alone. ⸻ 🔮 What we expect (and what we don’t) What we expect: • Gradual recovery, not overnight • Leaf posture improving first • New growth responding before old leaves • Stability over speed What we don’t expect: • Instant “fix” • Old damage to reverse • Her to behave exactly like the rest of the room From now on, she’ll simply need a bit more attention than her sisters — and that’s okay. ⸻ 🧠 The bigger takeaway This is a perfect example of why: • There is no single “best way” • Systems are tools, not rules • Genetics always get a vote • Listening beats forcing We’re not chasing perfection — we’re responding with intention. We’ll keep monitoring her closely over the coming week and adjust calmly, step by step. As always, this is just our experience and observation — not a universal recipe. Plants teach, we adapt 🌱💚 👽 New team member Meet Mr. Baggy Our new fluffy alien/beaver/whatever-he-is friend, won through a Grow Diaries contest. Expect to see him around — he’s officially part of the grow now. Week 5 Veg/pre-flower | 8×8 Tent | Master Conditions 🌍 External Environment (Context) • Outside temperature: ~5 °C • Outside RH: 92–96% (very high humidity) • Strong seasonal pressure influencing internal stability ⸻ 🌡️ Internal Tent Conditions • Tent temperature: ~21.8 °C (noted drop due to cold external temps) • Tent RH: ~58% → Very good considering outside conditions ⸻ 💨 Airflow & Circulation • Primary airflow: Bottom → top → wall return • Pattern: Full-room vortex circulation • Additional fans: Central airflow to break blind spots and mix layers • Goal: No stagnant pockets, uniform VPD across canopy ⸻ 💧 Water Source & Rationale • Water: Dehumidifier water + rainwater • Base EC: force • Systems designed to support plant intelligence, not override it FOR DISCOUNT CODES AND MORE JUST FOLLOW THE LINK https://website.beacons.ai/dogdoctorofficial 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.

Can the person who told me it was male have be mistaken? Could this just have been a late bloomer? Or am I just getting my hopes up, what are your thoughts?

So it must be that she prefers to be defoliated the training seemed hard on her for me. She wilted really hard through the weekend. I even reduced her light hours way back and separated them. Now they're back together again. I find that shes also a heavy drinker. I'm super excited shes definetly flowering now! And rather large for the container size. Hope you enjoy & check back next week to see just how fast she grows! And remember its 4:20 somewhere!!!!!!

FINISHED THE FIRST WEEK OF FLOWER, THEY REALLY FILLED OUT NICE FROM THE MAJOR DEFOLIATION I DID 3 WEEKS IN A ROW .SEEDS PUT INTO THE SOIL ON JUNE 22ND SORRY TO EVERYONE WHO TRIES TALKING TO ME....I STILL CANT TALK TO ANYONE BECAUSE I TRIED CHANGING MY EMAIL ON HERE AND IT MESSED EVERYTHING UP. I CANT LIKE ANYTHING OR COMMENT ON ANYTHING. THE WORST IS I CANT JOIN CONTESTS STRIVE NUTRIENTS IS THE BEST IVE EVER USED. A MUST TRY AND I BUY IT MYSELF. GOT A SAMPLE LAST YEAR AND ITS SO GOOD I BOUGHT MORE. ITS A 2 PART POWDER NUTRIENT THAT DISSOLVES IN MINUTES AND YOU MIX THE SAME STRENGTH OF THE 2 PART NUTRIENTS FROM WEEK 2 UNTIL THEY ARE FINISHED (BESIDES THE FLUSH), NO MORE BULLSHIT OF SWITCHING TO BLOOM FERTILIZER. THATS MY FAVORITE THING BESIDES THE RESULTS. CHECK EM OUT AND BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ BECAUSE ITS NO BULLSHIT, AWESOME FRIENDLY AND HONEST PEOPLE

I was very surprised at the remarkable growth of both plants. Tree 1 gives me a clear view of the superiority of height compared to the previous week. The copper buds clearly show the enormous size, I am trying to increase the amount of nutrition to promote the maximum growth in size and taste.

Hello guys ! new week and an amazing week ! Told you she was working on her buds and now you can see all of them. It's the perfect moment for a small defoliation in order to increase the focus of the buds. You can see the videos Before and After. I will have to add bamboo stick because the buds are starting to be too heavy ! she is gonna start to show her colors next week I think. Hope you enjoy Take care Sawyer

In alcune mimose ho trovato tipo caffè e pepe dolce come aroma cioè stile Kashmir landrace!

Week 10 Marvel: Cherry Cola's Pruned Elegance and Floral Splendor Greetings, fellow cultivators! We've reached the remarkable milestone of Week 10 in the Cherry Cola Auto journey, and the tent is a painting of botanical wonders. Week 5 of the flowering stage has unveiled a need for a strategic defoliation, and our green queen has undergone a meticulous pruning process. Let's delve into the details of this transformative week. As we navigate through Week 5 of the flowering stage, the Cherry Cola Auto is a testament to the magic of autoflower cultivation. The buds are evolving, and the tent is permeated with the tantalizing aroma of a promising harvest. The journey thus far has been a delight, and the best is yet to come. In response to the flourishing canopy and to optimize light penetration, a strategic defoliation became imperative. The decision to remove excess foliage was not only about enhancing light exposure to critical bud sites but also promoting better airflow and reducing the risk of potential mold or pest issues. The defoliation process involved removing larger fan leaves, allowing the lower branches to receive their fair share of light. In addition to defoliation, a meticulous bottom cleaning ritual took place. Removing the lower, less productive growth not only redirects energy to more crucial upper buds but also eliminates potential sites for moisture retention and pest harborage. This step is crucial in maintaining a healthy, well-ventilated environment as we approach the final weeks of flowering. The defoliation and bottom cleaning were conducted with surgical precision. It's not just about removing leaves; it's a delicate dance of preserving the plant's natural grace while maximizing its potential. The result is a pruned elegance that showcases the structural beauty of Cherry Cola's budding architecture. Our nutrient regimen, with P-Boost, Topbooster, and the strategic addition of Potassium (K), continues to be the backbone of this flourishing spectacle. The phosphorus boost and organic grace provided by Topbooster, combined with the potassium magic, are orchestrating a symphony of blooming processes that bode well for the upcoming harvest. The TDS reading, now at 550, reflects the balanced nutrient environment, ensuring the plant's nutritional needs are met. Maintaining an ideal pH balance of 6.4 ensures that the nutrients are readily available to the plant. This harmony in pH contributes to optimal nutrient absorption and supports the overall health and vigor of our Cherry Cola Auto. As we prune and nurture, the tent is filled with an aroma extravaganza. Cherry Cola's terpene profile is becoming more pronounced, promising a sensory delight in the final product. The olfactory journey is a precursor to the flavors and effects that await. As Week 10 unfolds, Cherry Cola Auto stands as a pruned prelude to harvest, a testament to the meticulous care and strategic decisions throughout the journey. The mood is set for the final act, and we eagerly anticipate the culmination of this horticultural odyssey. Stay tuned, fellow enthusiasts, as the Cherry Cola Chronicles approach their grand finale! Nutrition: @aptusholland @aptus_world @aptus_ Love, Care, and Attention: @dogdoctorofficial As always, thank you all for joining me on this journey, for your love, and for it all. My horticultural odyssey would never be the same without you. Your love and support are cherished, and I feel both honored and blessed to have you in my life Friendly reminder all you see here is pure research and for educational purposes only Growers Love To you All 💚 💚 💚

Hey guys! It was a hard week for my and my experience. The toxicity I think I had was nit cause by nitrogen, but it was a wind burn. Leaves were curled down becouse of wind, so almost 2 weeks with no nutrients caused me nitrient deficiencies. So yesterday I started with normal feeding again. Plants, especially ones on the right will need a bit more time than expected, I guess. Yellow leaves will be taken down soon, I just dont want to stress plants too much at the same time.
