Week 4 update - had to list it as a flower week as we flipped em half way through. Exotic wasn’t lying - the spicy bitches hit maturity rather quickly and we now have a guaranteed 2 males and 3 females - perfect ratio score👌👍. Balls started showing in a span of 12-36 hours. One of the females entered flower early so she may be a dud, an auto or just stressed for some unusual reason. We’ll probably either separate er or let it grow with the rest and pitch it. Won’t be using that seed knowing that underlying issue. Similarly, one of the males has also demonstrated some fan leaf mutation - I actually like this kind of variation and it makes things interesting so bonus there👍. The rest of em are doing just fine. So god damned nice to have a run that’s on a quick schedule to finish within 3 months. It’s been a long year for the pollen chuck and we’re really looking forward to the upcoming all fem. Run. For now though - conditions look ripe for a bunch of awesome crosses, any one of which could be pure 🔥. Till next week yall🤟. In the event that does take place we’ve got a single clone of each strain from the previous pollen chuck to sit in the tent with them so they can make babies for the next few months. The whole point of the last year was to start making some foundational genetics for a third generational cross we could call our own. If you’ve been following along than you’ll know that it’s been anything but easy. Our previous pollen picks didn’t pan out at all so we’re back to the drawing board with a new option from ExoticSeeds. This’ll be a 10 plant run with 5 regs and 6 strains for pollination including the strain itself. We’re running in a 2x4 MarsHydro grow tent all powered by a Mars Sp6500. That’s a little more than 600w packed into half the recommended footprint😳. Why? you ask - because we like our buds big and overcompensatory😂. Really, I’m just of the mind that we can pack more light into this space than recommended and get much better results. The math doesn’t lie. At least not as long as I wasn’t high when using the calculator again….. Many thanks to @MarsHydroLED for the opportunity to test run the equipment👊. In addition, we’ve also moved to a new nutrient system - Druid Nutrients out of the Netherlands. They don’t really have a presence on GD yet but you’ll be hearing about them very soon I’m sure. The beauty of this system is that it’s literally a 1 (one) component system for the entirety of the plants grow cycle. It really has changed the game in terms of ease of feeding and maintenance. It’s also very versatile and seems to provide everything needed across multiple different strains in the same ratios. Keep your eyes peeled for these folks. Pretty much a guarantee that they absolutely blow up once more people know about them👍👌😎. Strain Background Spicy Bitch: predominantly sativa, heavy yielder with a daytime kinda trip profile. It’s a cross of Queen Mother and a Pre-2000 AK47. We’ll pull what pollen we can and hope to have a female run out a larger supply of seed for the future. Many thanks to @Exoticseeds for the chance to give these beans a go👍👊. Pollination Strains: Holy Surfer S1 - this is one of the focal points for this cycle. A fellow growmie was kind enough to ship over some S1 genetics I took an interest in. The only ask back was that if I did cross it to send a few his way for testing👍. It’s a compact and squat plant requiring very little maintenance. Typical for the strain really. It’s been chosen as an option to potentially mellow out the high , shorten the stature of the resulting hybrid and inject it with some of that mellow indica effect. Boogie Nights - total shot in the dark. Still haven’t even tried the strain myself yet but it was available at the right time and interesting enough to make a salad with. Big thanks to AMS who’ve been nothing short of an excellent seedbank to collaborate with. Expect similar growth characteristics to that of the Northern Lights. Better resilience however. Blueberry - this particular clone is from extremely strong stock. Spliff seeds broke the mold with this strain. She’s lower maintenance than the NL, more resilient than anything else we’ve got on the menu and the terp. Profile on this girl is out of this world. If we can bring any of these qualities to the cross, then it could be magic👌. White Widow - garrghh, I just can’t get away from this particular plant. Again, still haven’t even tested the buds yet and all I can say is that the growth characteristics are extremely vigorous and desirable. This plant is one of 3 unicorns that I have yet to tame due to a combo of extremely bad luck and circumstance. All told, it’s still the same story: a VERY experimental breeding project designed to shotgun a broad swath of genetics against a reliable and dependable Breeder who’s put out proven fire 🔥🤟😎👍.

Most likely the last week for Zkittlez Auto. Really enjoyed growing this strain. I’ve been flushing for a bit now and I think she’ll be really good by the end. Gas, Candy, berry, and skunk terpene profile. Covered in greasy trichomes and stacking buds on all angles.

Bubble OG Gum auto is growing great. She is shifting more and more into flowering. She should start stretching a lot in next few weeks. 🤞🏻 she goes big. Everything is looking really good. She is eating a lot and drinking a lot of solution. I will likely do a solution change right as she gets to bulking. Unless she is just thriving, then I will hold off. Don't fix what is not broken. I've grown this already 2x, but this is the first time growing in DWC. As far I remember it is the same size as my older grows, she seems healthy and putting a lot of energy in the roots. Next week probably she will start blooming and then we shall see her real size!

This week completes the first week of flower for unknown. Stretched a little bit and I assume there will be more so, I’m continuing to weave her through the net for middle and final stretch. This also starts a new 3 week nute feed (thanks to dr earth 👏👏) so honestly I’m just continuing to lower humidity and slow rolling it. The wwa however is coming along quite well I might say. The main issue if any at all has been low ph and I’ve been watering with higher ph to correct that but, she’s been stretching and doing her own thing. Really wish I would’ve waited to see her full potential under better lighting and time but, this is a first grow (also excuse 😏) and I’m honestly more excited to get the first grow under the belt, rather than maximum yield (though max would be nice 😎) hopefully next time… Thanks for stopping by this week ✌️.

Week 10 6/9-15 Lemon ladies love the outside. Both are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is getting nutrients with feedings. 6/13 heavy defoliation and limb removal for lemon cake since she's now in flower. Repositioned the scrog after defoliation so the thicker limbs are in the mesh. Drizzle, got light defoliation mostly yellowing fans. Before and after pics and vids. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed. With the heat and humidity, I water daily.

La humedad anda entre 60/70% la temperatura está entre 23/26 grados, el led es increíble , y como siempre el ph está en 5,8/6,0. . AgroBeta: 0,8 ml x L Growth black line , vía radicular. 0,2 ml x L Tucán , vía radicular. 0,15 ml x L Flash Root , vía radicular. 0,05 ml x L Gold Joker, vía radicular. . Hasta aquí todo esta semana a sido algo complicado y todavía queda montar la extracción pero es ya lo último. Espero que os guste buenos humos 💨💨💨.

All in all this was an amazing harvest I usually have around 8-10 plants and harvest anywhere from 24-36 ozs per harvest with the 8 plants I had this harvest including the biscotti mintz and cookies USA I ended up with 898g total dry weight with all top quality flower. I’ve learned some things with all my previous runs when it comes to dialing in my quality and yield and definitely watching for those herms because I like to push my plants to the max when it comes to training ! Buds are flowering up super nice! Had a tiny issue where I thought it was much worse then it was (I got sum water on the leaves and it burnt circle shaped burns on them) I worried it was a fungal disease or something. I removed the leaves in a panic, and since haven't had any issues! Anyway the smell is amazing already I'm getting notes I really didn't expect to smell on a Superboof cross! Almost remiscent of Creature Feature or Acapulco Gold with a bit more gas! It is only week 4, so ideally the Terps should transform. I am loving it so far The bud structure is looking amazing, the top nugs are almost spear shaped which is really cool, some of the buttom bugs are almost spear shaped as well but more circle/fat. Standard nug look. It's beginning to stack some frost on as well! I have a good idea the nugs are going to have a nice lumpy - spear shaped buds. Almost looks as if the tops are foxtailing which would be really cool too! Amazing genetics. Every issue I've encountered has been so quickly corrected and bounced back. No herms, definently high grade genetics and I'm happy to be working with Homegrown Genetics to be able to post this seed to harvest and share with everyone!

02.10.2022 - 56 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The fourth week of flowering of my Mandarine XL 🍊🍊🍊 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - I serve the same as last week Advanced Nutrientiens - Bud Candy - carbohydrates for my plants 🍭🍭 Building Stimulators 🌼🌼🌼: Jungle Indabox Environ X Advanced Nutrientiens - Big Bud - I applied this week for the last time ATAMI - ATA CALMAG - When growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand The plants tolerate the nutrients well, some of the lower leaves showed slight signs of burning, they turned a little yellow and the tips of the leaves were brown 🍃🍃 Therefore, I will continue to use only one Bud Stimulator and that - Jungle Indabox Environ X, I will leave Big Bud from Advanced Nutrientiens for other plants. The end is near! She now has mostly cloudy trichomes, checking every other day for the amber count to go up. I do think it will be maybe a week until harvest, but again I’ll let her trichomes decide when she’s ready. Her leaves are definitely in the fade stages. I decided to let her dry out for 3 nearly 4 days, as you can see in the pics. She’s has gone very droopy, but I’m confident her watering will perk her up, she is on just ph’d water now, and will be until she is ready to harvest. Checking the buds, no issues she smells amazing, it’s almost candy like it’s so pungent. Lovely sweet strawberries and ripe banana scent. I’m hoping she finishes well, after having such a good grow. Apr 27: and they’re off. Both seeds germinated very strongly. I’m keeping the soil drier this time. I think maybe I’ve had soil too wet when starting seeds before and that slowed them down a bit. Will focus on keeping the seedlings moist to make up for the low air humidity. Once they get some roots going then I’ll start normal watering. Apr 30: snow day but plants are all still inside under lights. So far so good. May 1: one seedling is a bit bigger than the other at this early stage. I’ll pick one to keep and adopt out the other one. May 3: transplanted to intermediate pot to raise the soil level.

At day 84 from seed, 38 days since the switch to 12-12, she is a little closer to my light than I want. She looks happy to me though so I hope I get away with it. She is just entering that part of her life cycle where she is developing and putting on weight. Not much to do much wait and see if she ends up too close to my light and if she'll need support later in flower.

My first issue with a deficiency happened on 4/20. I’m hoping it was Molybdenum deficiency vs Nitrogen. But added a little base veg in to boost up N in case. Feel free to let me know what you think the issue could be. Seems to be coloring its leaves a week early. But the nugs are looking great and smelling like jet fuel. Putting into fall simulations this weekend. Day 32 on 4/22.

Thaught the yield would be bigger and the smell louder in generell.
