Week 9

Dear diary, Week 9 marks the last week of veg as it ends with us finally transitioning into the flowering phase. As we embark onto flowing, I continue to fine-tune the environmental conditions and adjust nutrient levels to support optimal development. 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 ⏰ Day 60: I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.66ms and adjusted the pH to 5.8. Additionally, I increased the light intensity from 20 to 25 dli (daily light integral). To maintain the desired humidity levels, I turned on the air conditioner to dehumidify the space, successfully bringing it back down to 58% as it started slipping up to the 70s again. However, this adjustment caused a slight drop in temperatures to 24.5 degrees Celsius. ⏰ Day 61: During the evening feeding session at 18:00, the plants received a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.66ms and a pH level of 5.8. Furthermore, I elevated the light intensity from 25 to 28 dli, positioning the lights 50cm above the canopy. The night temperatures have also stabilized at 22.5 degrees Celsius after the AC change. ⏰ Day 62: I provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and a pH level of 5.6. I also conducted some light low-stress training and removed any growth on the horizontal stems, as each stem already possesses its intended 16 tops. These adjustments will help maintain an even canopy and ensure optimal light penetration. ⏰ Day 63: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient solution at a strength of 1.67ms and adjusted the pH to 5.7. To enhance light exposure, I increased the light intensity to 32 dli/500ppfd and positioning the lights 48cm above the canopy. ⏰ Day 64: At 11:55, just before lights off, I applied pesticides to address any potential pest issues. During the evening feeding session, I provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.67ms and a pH level of 5.7. Additionally, I removed some excess growth and increased the light intensity to 37 dli/580ppfd, getting to the optimal levels before flowering starts. ⏰ Day 65 (Day 1 Flower): I initiated the flowering phase by switching the lights to a 12/12 cycle and provided a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.85ms and a pH level of 6.1. As the plants enter the flowering stage, I have adjusted the nutrient composition. The calmag has been reduced to 1.5ml/l, Bud Candy has been added at 1ml/l, and the A+B mix has been increased to 3ml/l. The plants water consumption has also increased, now reaching approximately 2 liters per day, which aligns well with the timing of the light cycle change. The temperatures have stabilized around 25 degrees Celsius during the day, and the relative humidity ranges between 55-60%. I have also set up the scrog net in preparation for the upcoming stretch phase. ⏰ Day 66: During the evening feeding session, I administered a feeding with a nutrient strength of 1.85ms and adjusted the pH to 6.0.

First week of adding Resin finish to stop cel devision and increase trichome production. Dropped ec to 1.35 No change on buds just yet other than mild rusting / deficiencies. Maybe light increase is trichomes. Purchased a jewellers loupe so i can now watch the trichomes ripen

End of course for this Persian Prince project! Unfortunately, he failed to cut short this flowering a few days in advance following the start of a pest attack. Our two beautiful ones would have certainly enjoyed crunching life with full roots for another week, but prudence forced us to cut a little prematurely. Never mind, our flowers have dried for 10 days and are now ready to begin their maturing period in a jar. Despite these conditions, which are very well known to them, our Persian Princes still present impressive characters: the buds are huge, covered with a thick layer of trichomes and very fragrant. In terms of flavors, cheesy dominates 🧀 the two phenos smell strongly of semi-roller/Emmental style hard cheese, definitely the dominant aroma, for one of our two plants it is the only aroma that I am capable of to raise. The other phenotype is more complex, on the salty-cheesy smell a fresher and tangy/lemony smell is superimposed, very pleasant and different from its sister and at the same time linked to it by its common dominant cheesy aroma. BT 31 seit Umstellung auf 12/12. Die Mädels entwickeln sich prächtig, sehr starker Geruch und gute Harzproduktion. Weiterhin nur Osmosewasser mit Calmag.

The phenotypes are now very distinct, the small plant's leaves go directly from green to dark plum colour they do not go yellow at all. Unlike the early orange bud. It almost looks like it has a blue light on it.

30 Jan 2022 Grow tent running now 30 days now. Oldest plant is about 20 days old and youngest plant is about 10 days old. Of the 9 plants 8 plants are doing great only the 2nd Blueberry Banana is suffering a bit, i'll keep an eye on it if don't get better in a few i'll remove and I change it with a new seed. In the pass week i moved the lamp at 40cm from the ground and till yesterday i runned the lap at 75% of his power , from today 30-1 the lamp is running at 100% of his power. Today is day 74 since the plants sprouted, and day 35 of the 12/12 light schedule. I got lazy with the diary after I switched to flower, but I switched to the flower schedule the day of the my last veg update. Everything has been very hands off since flower, to be honest. I've still been following the General Hydroponics nutrient schedule for my dosing, and the plants have seemed happy with that. Both plants look great in there, especially plant #2, which has tons of roots reaching out of the pot and onto the grow tray. From what I had read online, triploid plants are supposed to be seedless, at least when it comes to fruit. I was hoping that would mean the plants would be incapable of producing pollen sacks/seeds. As usual for my grows, I found pollen sacks at about 5 weeks of flower on plant #2, and promptly picked it off. That's the only one I've found so far, but I'll have to keep a sharp eye out for the next few weeks. From experience, these bastards pop up on the lower nodes from weeks 5-8 of flower. If any of them open during weeks 5-7, the whole crop gets tons of seeds.

end week 8. ------------ this week only water from all Gorillas the buds look very sticky and frosty. when I open the tent, it smells very strong. The 1 and 2 smelled pretty strong, chemically, the 3. more like citrus. I will harvest Gorilla 1 20.10. Gorilla 2 22.10 Gorilla 3 23.10 I made videos and pictures of the trichomes.

This grew really nice and took a lot of beatings by me, she has great smell and I will be growing this over and over again. Just great I made a small handful of seeds but now I understand making seeds is not easy, I did it, it was a great learning experience that is just another part of what this great plant can do. this whole grow started great then took some dives and I was going to give up, I am real glad I did nt. I would have had a larger yield if I did not cut the stem to far when I topped, I was doing this plant as a research project as I know super skunk can take a beating and keep going. The strain is a real winner and bounces back as I put this one through a lot. great strain..

The strawberry banana is growing tall and big, despite she was the one who germinated later, the skywalker should remain shorter as genetic but is having a strong and fast growing too, both the Runtz are shorter and smaller, we will see in the next one two weeks if they will recuperate their slow growing 🤞🏻💚
