Definitely forgot to water to water the ladies a few too many days in a row last week so one of the plants started to get a little a brown around the pistils. Will be better about watering this week lol. Other than that, the ladies are doing great!

Another amazing week, stretch is starting to slow down so the stacking begins and I'm pretty happy with how big the buds are considering the set up I'm currently running. Excited to see what happens next! At the start of week 4, I opened my tent to see one of my girls (Watermelon Zkittelz) had fallen over and was on the floor laying against the tent wall. Soil was everywhere and when I picked her up I noticed a few broken branches 😫 what upsets me, I have no idea how long she was on her side broken like this. So I wasted no time, I didn't have any time to waste, and so I taped her up as fast as I could. Cleaned the tent and then tried figuring out how this happened. I'm thinking it was the platform I had her on, along with her being super top heavy maybe? I didn't think she would be so top heavy yet but I think it's the mixture of those two things. Anyway, at the end of the day, she's doing fairly well considering. The branches I taped have responded well so far. We shall see if it holds up! I had another branch off the same plant break in half and I taped her immediately and she seemed to recover fast. She's very resilient! I just realized I was promoted to Aprentice from Newbie!! I hope breaking branches doesn't make me a newbie again 🤣 Cheers to that!! Thank you fam! For the nutrients, this week I added the lovely Aloe Vera Juice I make from my Aloe Vera plant. I also added more of Organic Barley Grass powder I made from Organic Alka Green powder. I used this on one of plants during vegetative stage and she loved it so I've been adding this to my feeding schedule every other week and they girls are loving it so much! So many amazing nutrients are in these tabs. The only reason I decided to use them and expierment was because I was on a very tight budget, still am but anyway I looked in my cabinet for any organic nutrients I could potentially use with my cannabis plants. To my suprise it's worked out amazing!!

Just waiting. The pineapple chunk is quite fat. The critical seems more hardy. It resisted the light burn and recovered slightly better.

Heute ist es soweit. Die Lady hatte jetzt 2 Tage Dunkelheit und wird jetzt komplett aufgehangen zum trocknen. Bin gespannt wie der smoke bei ihr ist. Sie ist ja schon eine absolute Zitrus-Maschine.

Plants seem to be stunted and placed baggies over them to give them better humidity.

they're finally starting to take off! Will probably do one more week of veg get them to at least 18 inches tall before flowering. They've been doing great considering all the mistakes and stress I put them through never showed signs of deficiencies or stress just the weird yellow patter that's has stuck around on #2 hoping its just another mutation

End of Week 9 of Flower. I can just taste those buds now! The smell is intoxicating and the view is picturesque. There is definitely a noticeable difference between the two pheno's but I suspect both will pack a good punch. There has been some purpling in some of the top leaves which I expect will increase with the drop in temperature the last week or so. I cant wait to get some good pictures at the end of the week as Ive decided the chop day will be this coming Sunday. The clash of yellow, purple and green is always my favourite so I plan to capture as much as possible since the next update will be jam packed with pictures of the girls just before their chop and after 48 hours of darkness to get the last of that resin production from the plant. I will also take some pics of the hanging plants in the drying cupboard. The reason I am leaving my plants in darkness for 48 hours before they get chopped, is that it has been long belived that this practice will increase the last of the thrichome production and some say increases potency. There has been a recent study in the Netherlands which does confirm increased resin production for plants left in 48 hours of darkness (they also tested 24 hours darkness but found 48 was better) at the end of their flower cycle. The chop has been planned to be pretty straight forward where I will just be taking off the main fan leaves and leaves with no thrichomes as well as chopping off the larfy/popcorn buds which will go straight in the freezer for a fresh frozen bubble hash run. I dont bud wash my flower as my tent gets a regular clean each week and always gets a full deep clean when every harvest is over and besides, its only me and my friends that smoke it! The drying cupboard I use for drying is a small cupboard designed for storing and drying clothes which I have put a carbon filter and fan as well as a small desk fan to circulate the air as well as a small dehumidifier just incase there is an increase in humidity. So the basics of drying is that you want the area where you are drying to be dark and fairly cool (its recommended to be between 15 and 22 degrees C), have a humidity level between 45% and 55%. I aim for around 21 degrees C temperature and 50% humidity. The drying time can vary depending on strain but its recommended to dry the buds for 7 - 10 days and I will explain further about how to tell if your bud is done drying and is ready to be cured on the next post. Drying is very important as you can affect all your hard work if the conditions arent right and the bud ends up too dry (luckily these days there are ways to fix bud thats too dry) or you end up with mouldy ganja which isnt save to smoke. Its also believed that a good long dry in good conditions helps increase potency and also has been shown to reduce anxiety. Well, this is the last week of flushing, then comes the chop. Timber! 🌲. Lol. I am super excited and happy with the results so far. I will update again when I harvest. 😃😎

I really waited long to cut away the last leave as I thought it would maybe help the plant to still grow a little, but no no, she didn’t grow much more.

Woche 11 und wir befinden uns so langsam auf der Zielgeraden. Die Trichome sind noch nicht ganz so wie ich sie haben möchte. Deshalb bekommt sie noch ein paar weitere Tage.

Alright.. this was the first week of real flowering i believe.. I had 3 tops rot/burn ? I dont believe its rot.. but lets see.. I cut the tops out as good as possible.. I will slow down with the pk 13/14 this week... Got some sugar royal from plagron, gave her that aswel last week... She does seem to be happy... lets hope she will be fine ... 8 weeks of flowering?

The Afghani x Mac1 auto from DNA recovered well from the training and is in full bloom. Bud sites are looking great. Had an issue with humidity this week and the leaves started looking rough. She got a dose of Recharge this week and drinks about 8-12oz of water throughout each day. All in all she's trucking right along. Very happy with how smooth this solo cup grow is going.
