Última semana y esta planta ya se ve que dió todo de si. De estatura baja y estructura ratificada, con flores densas y con un color hermoso y profundo. Se ha cubierto de tricomas blanquecinos y ámbar que desprenden un olor a fruta ácida y dulce como las fresas y un frescor muy característico. Ya en dos días se viene el corte así que les estaré informando. Buenos humos! 👽

Buds seriously starting to fatten up, put out some serious trichomes and smell this week. Smell has intensified quite alot since last week soon as you open the tent the smell smacks you in the face. More trichomes by the day looking like a serious smoke. Upped the EC to 2 for this week to try and get a much out of these as possible. I won't be going any higher than a 2 EC so I don't fry my plants. Some orange hairs starting to appear on both the cereal milk and wedding cake.

The thrips infection is gone but there’re still a lot of damaged leafs as you can see in the photos/videos, but the growth hasn’t slowed down which is good. Anyway after I did some research into the big bang strain I found out that the company that sells this strain recommends “flushing” for a few days every other week starting from day 16 of flowering. This is meant to speed up bud development and I think it really did something here as the buds got twice as big. But I didn’t exactly follow their recommendations as it calls for watering the plants with large amounts of water and letting the soil dry for a few days and I don’t feel comfortable with that, so I watered them every day but made sure the soil was dry.

This was a solid week but my PH keeps dropping. PPM dropped from 780ish to 560 so I know she's eating. Buds are forming nice and compact for their first week of actually forming. Other than the PH problem that I'm correcting daily until my fresh res change, my tallest stalk in the back grew into the light so hopefully those buds don't bleach! Open to constructive criticism btw!

Thank you ViparSpectra providing me this outstanding quality XS2000 light. 16/09/2021: Seeds are placed in the water and now I will leave them in it for approx 18 hours. 17/9/2021: Hiiiiii! They had been in the water for almost 18 hours. Tested them after several hours just a little push if they sink. They did so they supposed to be viable. Spliffs Strawberry was a bit more nasty the seed didn't want to submerge easy but it did. Northen Light is crazy tap root is already out of it was a race she would have already won it lol.... less the 18 hours tap root out in the water nice... Rest of them are normal nothing much to say! So I placed them between damp paper towel and we waitin' Let's gooooo 19/9/21: The winner of the race is Northen Light tao root was out even the day when I placed in the water. Cookies Gelato is the second and then Mastodon Kush and the Spliff kids. Well, 2 of them coud not make it they submerged in the water but then that's all not sprouting at all. This 2 Afghani Gold and Spliffs Strawberry have been replaced with another try /seeds/. So hopefully those will be alright. Anyways, rest of them are planted with today.

They are becoming denser and more robust, which indicates that the plant is channeling its energy into producing larger, more resinous flowers. Throughout the growth process, the cannabis plant has shown no signs of health issues. It has remained vigorous and resilient, with no observable deficiencies or diseases. To ensure optimal light penetration and airflow, the plant was lightly defoliated this week. The cannabis plant is progressing well in its fifth week of flowering. The formation of trichomes, the thickening of buds, and the plant's overall health are all promising indicators of a successful flowering phase.

Using Safer's brand End All insecticide for the aphids. Tested on D (brown) a couple days ago and seems ok. Used it on all 3 yeasterday and the population has definately dropped. Cleaned up the lower area near the main stem today. Moved around some LST. Looking at a bigger set up.

This week, spent a little more time on the garden, Transplant, microbes on the soil, new 20 litres pot, and every day bending, to mantain an homogeneous canopy ... Fed some Green Explosion again because i want a little more branching , but im switching next week to Flowering nutes, but imma keep Veg nutes because autos seem to keep growing more when switchin ... But heyy im new with autos hahaha lets see what happens.... The plant is soo healthy at the moment :) --------------------- Micro Vita : Applied 6.60 grams for the 20 litres of soil, recommended is between 2-5g per 10l .... TopVeg: 2,5 ml when applied alone and 2 ml/l when used with Deep Underground or Green Explosion. Green Explosion: 0,5-1ml/l, always with TopVeg because of PH balance Deep Underground : From 1ml/L first weeks, and until now, 2ml/l. Irrigations : Everyday in the morning, alternating 1/2 with water and the other with nutes, but if the plan is dark dark green im irrigatin only water so id would be 1/3 in that case. #####Top Veg always balances the PH so im never using boosters without it (they have high ph like 8 - 10 ) --------------------- Take care GD !!! Lovely lady... but getting a little weird in that I've had to reduce her EC several times... I guess she just doesn't LIKE a whole lot of nutes! It's been a struggle this past week trying to get the pH and EC balanced out so they're both stable... and it ALWAYS happens to me about this time in each grow. Some year, I'll figure it out - until then, I'll remain a bit frustrated! LOL! Toying with the idea of doing more "defoliation" to get rid of what I KNOW will be larfy buds... even though I haven't officially "scrogged" her, I've used LST to essentially produce the same results so I'm planning to do a little lollipopping on her... might as well be today! Sorry I haven't been keeping up this diary in the manner I had been... I've got a lot of idiot things going on in my life. If you ever have questions about what I'm doing or not doing with this grow, just DM me and I'll try to explain.... :-D 03/28 .... ok, she's now officially driving me bonkers. Wild pH swings even while the EC holds steady... I can't figure out what she wants at all but we continue to talk to each other... I'll figure out her language soon enough! She's going through a massive stretch period now which might be the cause of all the drama going on inside the bucket... just SHOOTING up and looking fine even if the numbers aren't what I would call happy. Gave her a pretty decent haircut just before she started stretching and I'm glad I did... so many more buds are now getting full light and I've got the canopy where I want it... Might have to do some more LST down the line if she gets much closer to the lights although I DO still have some room to move them up (thank god I got a taller tent!). She's taking her nap right now so I'll post more pictures when she wakes up.... OK... new pics are up as is a video...
