While the genes are present, the expression of these colors is often enhanced by "thermal stress" (lower temperatures) during the final three weeks of flowering, which triggers the production of these pigments. 👋 Raising the Carbon-to-Nitrogen (C:N) ratio in the growing medium to avoid over-immobilizing nitrogen, on the flip side, being careful not to trigger early autophagy. Moderate, controlled increases in sugar support the energetic demands of flowering and act as a signal trigger, but excess sugar is more likely to inhibit flowering or damage the plant. Balance, like everything else. Visually, when the chloryphyll green gets darker, it is a subtle indicator that the concentration of nitrogen is increasing / more is being stored than is being used. I noticed when you push very high intensity lighting, it slowly fades the green as the plant degrades chloryphyll faster than it can be replenished. When the green of the leaf continually gets darker, it is an indication that the concentration levels of nitrogen are increasing, and I dont want to increase light intensity. Turn down the nitrogen faucet. C:N ratio dictates the rate at which nitrification occurs, if at all. If Rubisco were faster, leaves might be darker; however, the "shade of green" represents a balance that prevents chlorophyll from producing more energy than the inefficient Rubisco can process. Hi Growmies, the plant is doing good so far. I have upped the lamp output to 50% of the veg part for the coming week. I have put her straight away on a very heavy feeding schedule, so let's see how she will handle that. I am super stoked to grow this strain, as it was one of my favourites back in the day, when our market was flushed with it :)

So to start, I did a small leaf strip a few days ago. I like to do small leaf strips ones a week the last few weeks of flower. Now not big, Im Talking 15-20 leaves tops. Don't want to over stress the plant at this stage but also want to make sure the buds below are getting enough light. The temperature has dropped a bit outside so the tent is running cooler then it was. Honest it got all week was 22.5c, but also only got up to 20c one night. Unfortunately this tent is right next to the door out of my grow space so all the cold air is coming through. Going to need to look at replacing the door with something that fits a bit better, or look at adding something to this door to help. Next to that the plant is looking amazing so far. Hi people 🤗 A lot has happened this week 😄 The 3 Blue Cheese and 2 Kosher Tangie Kush which have been in the flowering tent for 1 week have become very bushy 👍 Unfortunately I just noticed that I completely forgot to take pictures of the Blue Cheese Phenotype # 3 🤦‍♂️🏻 The picture will be given later. The rest of the Vegi tent is also progressing very well. Our Green Cure F1 Hybrid Autoflowering by Zamnesia are currently the best in the growbox, they both started really well and I decided to top the biggest one to give the plant a bigger body result. Come on girl, you have a great life journey ahead of you and it won't be bad after that either. Applied Techniques - Given the numerous requests from growers, we decided to show you what happens when you apply topping + Lst to autoflowering plants. It is very important to anticipate it as much as possible, autoflowering plants start flowering at about the 5th intenod, you need to anticipate that moment to give the plant the chance to vegetate as much as possible. In general, when you see that there are two good side branches, you can do topping, they will go into veg as much as possible and you will have a split plant, I have seen very nice results, especially in warm periods when the plant tends to vegetate a lot, in winter we could have a bit of dwarfism but with a lot of resin for sure. So I cleaned everything and cut at the top leaving only the main growth line, called Main Lining, the florets will be lowered during growth and the plant will eventually be like "split" in the main line with the various branches. On photoperiodic plants, however, we will do topping repeatedly, which is not recommended with autoflowering plants so as not to lengthen the times of plants born to finish in 10 weeks. The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. I was late on giving them their next feeding. I didn’t wanna do it too early because of impatience but I should’ve listened to the plants. Added 1tsp (5ml) of uprising foundation for some cal mag. Other than that, just watering. I’ve been boiling water, a day or so in advance to get rid of chlorine and anything else I can.

This plant just got flushed so all old salts are gone, tommorow i start watering with just finalpart at 3ml/L she will be ready one week later, 10 days max. So next update is harvest.

Let her flush for 12 days and cut her down yesterday. Next update when shes dried, trimmed, and weighed.

Bubatz is growing well, she is now starting to make pre-flowers, i can see some small pistels coming up..(i have given her 'flower'nutes yesterday) But weather is still very unstable and now she is standing in their safehouse, to stay dry and comfy.. weather is gonna get better end of this week, they say, lets just hope for some sunshine now and then... 😇 But as you can see, she grows strong and doesnt seem to care Its feels so nice in the safehouse when it rains.. 😎👌 i just want to 'set up shop' there when i visit them.. oh wait a moment!! Ha sido la más fácil de cultivar, la que mejor se adapto en el espacio de cultivo.. bastante productiva y con una resina brutal. Sabores cítrico y mango muy acentuado.. es una pasada fumar esta cepa. Todas están finalizando su floración aunque llevan días de diferencia finalizando la floración,los olores son tremendamente intensos y potentes,hay dos fenotipos de sweet skunk y dos fenotipos de killer kush ,gorilla Girl parece ser la más estable,aunque haya distintos fenotipos (2) los olores son similares pronto llegará la cosecha ,deseando que llegue dulces humos familia!!😍💓🇪🇦

Sorry for the late one I’ve been so busy plus this heatwave has had me tending to these girls non stop but there doing fine as you can see.today is day 31 of flower feeding once maybe twice a day.started them on the full shogun range now and they are lapping it up super green and healthy

Started adding the nutes at 1ml/l. Just using Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco A+B for veg, Will add in some molasses after any HST or defoliation (stress). Looking good so far.

This week as went well, plants are starting to bulk up and get comfortable in their new pots. Next week or the week after next might be the time to transplant them into their forever home pots, then flip to flower after 3 weeks of them growing into their new space. They have been getting a bit to much N with the Gaia Green 4-4-4 mix, I keep forgetting how much it gives them and that I need to mix it with the power bloom 2-8-4 in 25-30/75-70 or 50/50 ratios. I have extra Gaia Green Soluble seaweed extract to make up the missing K in the ratio mixes. Still mixing the PH a bit lower at 6.0 with the citric and malic acid tests, plants are going well with them, tested a bit of runoff with the one smaller plant and was getting aorund 7.5, EC still sky high so wont need to feed for a while now but they are not burning and that's a good thing. they seem to be tolerating the Potassium Silicate as well, I don't like how much it alters the PH but till I get in some ground wollastonite. Sames extras as any other week with the addition of some magnesium, rest as follows, yucca extract, silicon, potassium seaweed extract, microbes, fulvic acid, Clones are doing ok, when I took the photo of them this week they looked good and then 10 min outside of their humidity dome they looked like shit and all withered. Some of them are showing signs of putting on roots with little white specs on the stalk coming through. Will have to place them in some potting medium soon and see if they take off. And if they do I will have some to give away to whoever wants them in my friend group. I also have that one smaller plant that was delayed by a week or so thats also extra. Got to find a loving home for it, my other grow buddies don't have anything started ATM and don't want to start till later in the year. :( Pepper update! some of the peppers are living the high DLI of the lights and some of them are not... the purple jigsaw ones seems to be getting a bit burnt under the lighting. They all will be taken out soon enough. I should look at transplanting them into other pots soon and they likely root bound. Can set up something in my room with an old SF1000 I got or the Sunblaster 18" 6500k lights that I used to grow with. When I touch the leaves of the goronong and them smell my finger they have a lot of hot pepper aroma coming off of them. I think these peppers are going to be quite spicy when they are all done. The Fatalii peppers are the same and I know they are spicy AF but their smell is a bit more bright and less earthy as the goronong still pungent all over. The Fatalii are also a bit smaller, could be the older seed just is not as vibrant as new seed. Should be fine once they are outside always a good producer for me. Going to make infused salt with them and give that out as gifts to my friends.
