🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. 05/12/21 - PRE FLOWER: The plants have certainly grown in size and most bud sites are showing the beginnings of pistils. - Some leaves have purple spots - This could be phosphorus deficiency. I am feeding a healthy dose of blooming nutrients - so this could be a heat issue as the temp does get below 20 often. I have decided to invest in a heat mat. Had to defoliate some bud sites on some plants as I was an IDIOT and but a blow fan heater close to warm up - so I have lost some bud sights maybe 10% overall - lesson learnt. I hope this hasn't stressed the plants out too much. Lights are at 100% brightness.

Flower day 17 - All the ladies are looking great, starting to see a lot of bud sights & the smell is definitely getting stronger everyday I open the tent! Thanks for following & happy growing friends!🌱✌️🏼 Flower day 19- Got a bigger dehumidifier because I was having problems on days I would water the humidity would go through the roof at night so to prevent mold I bought a bigger dehumidifier but now it is throwing off so much heat the tent is pushing 90 degrees F at some points throughout the day so I’m not exactly sure how to fix the issue! Will definitely not be running so many plants in the next run for the 5x5! Hopefully things get better!😅😅

Buds looks better everyday, with less and less white hairs as the days go by. Buds are forming beautifully.

08/27/2021 Been 7 days since last pictures. Pheno #4 was eliminated do to the fact she reversed (hermied) I believe that an outside light was at fault. ( lemon Thai) genetics maybe coming through. Others have not really been affected but pheno #2,3 may have been delayed a bit but no sign of hermies just not as developed as pheno #1(Hulk). Going to mix up a flowering tea (AACT) fungal dominant. Also topdress with Gypsum, and Diatomatious Earth before tea is applied. Gypsum Gypsum is calcium sulfate (CaSO4). Refined gypsum in the anhydrite form (no water) is 29.4 percent calcium (Ca) and 23.5 percent sulfur (S). Usually, gypsum has water associated in the molecular structure (CaSO4·2H2O) and is approximately 23.3 percent Ca and 18.5 percent S (plaster of paris). I got new lighting from VIPARSPECTRA and type XS1000. I don't know what's going on with her 😢 I think it's spilled again, so I tried to put it in a dry coconut for 48 days. But I don't expect it to start growing anymore 😕.

18/09/2023 I'm very eager to harvest, especially since they all seem ready for harvest except for number 3. Like in the previous weeks, I'm hardly cutting anything, just removing the yellow/brown leaves that come off easily when I pull on them. Regardless, I think I'll harvest next week because the small buds in the lowers parts of the plant and not just the sugar leaves are starting to turn yellow/brown. I forgot to take a picture of the main cola of number 2. I still can't upload great quality vidéo idk why sorry for that ridiculous amount of pixel in the video. 20/09/2023 I was watching a guy on Youtube talking about harvesting when this idea (See the last picture) came to me... I feel so DUMB for not doing this WHEN I did the LST... SEVEN WEEKS AGO, and right now I would not be struggling with the little delay on number 3.

it was interesting and easy, the variety has a very high potential, the plant has survived both a deficit and an overdose, but she coped well! the effect is pleasant and strong. I recommend an excellent variety for its price!

Had this cutting on the go slowly doing it thing on the window sill establishing . New led light has just arrived and got the tent set up to prep a batch a of cuttings to do my next run with . Hopefully things will speed up so I can have my cuttings ready in time

Put the girls in a new tent. It’s 5x5 with a 1k hort and xxl air cooled hood. The are getting their lean on, had a few branch casualties but every is looking good, started to flush the plant with Ph’d water and 1g maxibloom per 1 gallon.

Fantastic strain, very happy with the 3 phenos I'm growing, this ak420 has a very sweet and floral aroma, I'm very happy about her, cannot wait to smoke those nuggets to taste the flavor, I know it's gonna be very sweet! 🤤💚❤️💛🔝

Harvest day 68 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚. First of all I would like to compliment Green House for this genetics. Unfortunately, the rating system at Growdiaries is a bit strange because I have to give the stars before the Smoke Report and in the end it might have led to more stars in terms of taste. Unfortunately, this phenotype is nothing special, which is very annoying given the price :-( The smell is ok, but nothing great, but the high is good, which is less important to me. The buds are stacking up and getting very Stinky!! 😍 I reckon 3 more weeks for Plant 1 and a little longer for plant 2 . That way I can make a judgement On perfect harvest times for this particular strain. This Plant is drinking Gallons of water now and I'm supplementing waterings with High tea and worm castings tea. There is massive oil secreting from these plants. Supercharged lemon scent is left on your hands when defoliating 😎. End of the week will be an important task. The plants will once again be allowed to dry all the way out…to the point of oh shit that’s dry substrate. Then I will flush the plants with 1.0EC mixture of Canna PK13/14 and CalMag.
