๐Ÿ™Œ The first run is done ๐Ÿ˜ Iโ€™m very happy with the result and canโ€™t wait to be able to smoke it ๐Ÿ™ well, I already got to nibble a little bit ๐Ÿ˜‹ after the wet trim, I hung the buds in the DryFerm bags to dry in the small tent. A little bit of trimming hash ended up in my bag ๐Ÿ˜Ž The cuttings were left in the tent without a DryFerm bag for about 1.5 days. Then 2 days in the freezer to make dry sift. From 14g of leftover trim, 0.7g of finest dry sift came out on the tray. ๐Ÿ™Œ

8/26 Monday morning 12am They are doing good. The camera fell into a plant...so lucky it didn't hurt the plant..that never happened before. My grow is HAUNTED!!!! Dark Devils are doing pretty good. All the others are great. I need more dirt in Blueberry Auto by Seedsman I'll do top filling later this week. 2am got the microscope ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ I swear she is like a pet and sheโ€™s playing dead with her tongue hanging out. Itโ€™s hilarious. Iโ€™m really enjoying this one. This is gonna be a lot of fun.๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ‘ป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘. 11 am I ordered a new microscope!!! 8/27 Dark Devil looks pretty cool. All other plants are doing just great!! 8/28 turned lights up to 52 looking good 4/28 Dark Devil Auto Monster crawls out of Hell!!!! Dark Devil Auto looks like the war boy that figured out Furiosa stole the War Rig. !!!! I put a light tent over Dark Devil monster. I will need to trim the roots and make sure the trays aren't in standing water. Blueberry is in mostly Perlite doesnt take up water the same. New microscope nice picture but no zooming in, I got the kind with the wider mouth, narrow mouth is better getting close to plants.... after 2 years I just NOW figured out the plastic cover comes off?? not the lens cap....im retarded there's just no other way to explain it 8/29 She's ALIVE and wow! got some amazing pics a little blurry and shaky but Dark Devil Auto by Sweetseeds is the coolest thing ive seen. Doing the seed surgery worked. 8/30 Some amazing progress on the Dark DEvil. The others are great Medusa F1 is the strongest followed by Gorilla Strawberry. The lights on the right side of the Mars Hydro light dont seem to be as strong as the ones on the left is ill rotate the plants today. 8/31 5 am lights up to 55 Watts. They are doing good. RSQ Medusa F1 showing the strongest so far, not a surprise there! Fast Buds Straw Gorilla taking off strong next. Pink Kush CBD and Blueberry Auto by Seedsman up next and surviving in almost all Perlite. I will put more dirt in when she gets taller. Dark Devil is going steady and very strong just amazing. 9/1 Growing nice now I will top them all above the 3rd node to keep the grow small

Harvest Notes โœ‚๏ธ โ€ข Harvest Timing: Papaya Zoap was harvested at day 63, with select buds taken earlier at day 56 due to mold concerns. โ€ข Drying: After careful trimming, the buds were dried for 12 days. The quality and aroma during drying hinted at the stellar smoke to come. โ€ข Density & Yield: Buds were rock-solid, delivering an excellent yield with perfect density for storage and enjoyment. Terpene Profile & Aromas ๐Ÿ‹ โ€ข Primary Aromas: A tropical explosion with sweet papaya upfront, complemented by creamy, soapy undertones that make her truly unique. โ€ข Complexity: As the buds cure, a hint of citrus zest and exotic fruit emerges, creating a full-bodied terpene profile thatโ€™s simply irresistible. Cultivation Experience ๐Ÿ’ก โ€ข Highlights: Her uniform growth, heavy trichome production, and response to super cropping made her a delight to grow. She thrived under careful spectrum adjustments and defoliation, showcasing her adaptability and vigor. โ€ข Challenges: The dense bud structure made her more prone to mold, especially in a high-humidity environment. However, proactive monitoring and swift action mitigated the spread. Verdict: ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ๐ŸŒŸ (9.8/10) Papaya Zoap is a strain that commands attention with her beauty, aroma, and unstoppable growth. While her susceptibility to mold required extra care, her overall performance, yield, and quality were nothing short of exceptional. A growerโ€™s dream and a frosty masterpiece! Seedlings are doing well! The 1 that is about 4 days older is showing good growth. Iโ€™ve been able to keep the humidity high enough and havenโ€™t overwatered them yet! They are getting about a cup of water, starting with the outside rim and working my way in. This is about every third day or so. Not much else, itโ€™s been an easy week. Happy Gardening ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆโค๏ธ

The stretch phase is officially over, and now the plant is shifting its energy toward trichome production!๐ŸŒฑ Iโ€™ve started noticing a light scent developing, though itโ€™s still not very intense yet. I expect that to change in the coming weeks. I did a light defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration, and I plan to do another round in about two weeks. Interestingly, the fan leaves are starting to take on a slight reddish hueโ€”curious to see how that develops! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ˜Š So far, everything is looking great, and Iโ€™m excited to watch the buds bulk up in the next phase!

Space finally opened up, so the Haze plants are officially in their long-term homes: 3-gallon pots with a coco and perlite mix. Haze 2 looked great initially but hit a brief patch of transplant shock. Thankfully, she has fully bounced back. Interestingly, she threw out double branches from the first node, but her growth returned to normal branching by the third. Haze 1, on the other hand, is much bushier and is already showing female pre-flowers. Iโ€™ve taken clones and flipped the tent to flower. The plants are currently sitting at 16 inches from the substrate line in a 2x4x6 tent. Given the legendary Haze stretch, I fully expect to have to relocate them before flower is over. Environmentally, Iโ€™m running a 4โ€ exhaust but have a 6โ€ on standby in case temps spike. Right now, with the lights only pushing 55% to hit around 800 PAR, heat is completely manageable. I also set up a timelapse with my Wyze cam, which Iโ€™ll share in the next update if it works out.

After germinating the seeds are transplanted into small pots with soil (see tutorial in VIDEO above). The soil is prepared with water mixed with a little bit of BIO NOVA Roots (0,5 ml/l), which aids the development of the seedling. Transplanting is very easy now, because they have grown a STRAIGHT tap-root while hanging during the SERIOUS' WAY of germination. This straight root allows for easy potting of the seeds. Simply make a little hole in the center of the soil with your pinky finger and carefully place the germinated seed with the white root pointing DOWNWARDS into the hole. Best is to lay it onto one side-wall of the hole with the seed shell right at the surface. Then I push the other side inwards and enclose the whole root with soil. At the end only the top of the seed-shell peeks out of the soil. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to plant the seeds NOT TO DEEP into the soil. The seedling only needs extra strength to work itself upwards thru the soil and you run the risk of the soil drying out and the seed dying off. When you PLANT THE SEED VERY SHALLOW into the soil (=with the top of the seed-shell still peeking out) your seedling can grow out right away and you have a small plant already 24 hours after putting the seed into the soil. The small seedling sometimes still has the seed-shell on its 'head', it normally falls off by itself, but sometimes you have to carefully help and take it off with your finger nails. Be careful to NOT clip of the seedling accidentally when you do this! The seed-shall has an inner lining, which feeds the small seedling when it germinates. This inner lining sometimes gets tangled around the stem of the small seedling after the shell has fallen off. This little skin MUST be taken off the stem right away! Once it dries up, it gets hard and can strangulate the seedling around the stem. In order to avoid this, the skin must be taken off as soon as possible! I show it in the pics above and also made a video about taking off the inner lining of the seed.

8/25/23 - Day 73 - Another week down. We did a water change today. The buds are getting fatter and WAAAAAAY smellier. I have had a couple of times now where I lost a battle to the Skunk BOSS. I have had to reach in to move some buds around because they are too close to the light on some bud sites. You can see one of the buds up top, it has some white to it, I think that's due to being too close to the light. But once I move the buds around, I smell EXACTLY like a skunk. The smell is crazy strong. It's taking several full showers and it's still all over my fingers. Gloves will be an ABSOLUTE must when just reach in for a second. 8/28/23 - Day 76 - The buds are starting to grow even more, that the buds are growing buds out of them. That sounds weird but it's the only way to describe it. It looks like Romanesco. The buds are getting more dank, fatter, and more crystals are forming. 8/29/23 - Day 77 -I did some trimming today. I push some of the buds down and really got my arms in there today. All of the buds have gained so much mass to them when I squeeze them, they are really dense. I left a time laps video of me doing some late trimming, I was noticing some of the cannabis leaves were taking some of the light from the buds. 8/31/23 - Day 79 - The trichomes are still see-through and crystal clear. IM looking for a glossy-type look. My guess is still two/three weeks out. If you are looking for this experience, check out https://www.getleaf.co/

Gorilla, gorilla, my problem child. The only one popping out of 5 but she is weaker than her roommates. She stays behind compared to them. But what can I do other than TLC, she has the best conditions, which are optimal in this grow room, also judging by the other two plants. Until I have a bigger operation, which in the current political climate, is not soon, where I can make mothers and clone them, breed my own strains, and root out runts like this, we do it like life. We play the hand as it is dealt to us and we love all our children the same... although this one is special. So not a genderfluid Silverback yet, but it ain't over till the voluptuous lady sings. We shall nurse this little runt until adulthood, who knows she might surprise us, she should have the mighty Gorilla Glue Number Fouh genes in there somewhere. Now come on out here and show daddy what you're made of... This week we spread out the leaves and branches, some leaf tucking and gentle LST, to prepare for some higher stress and super cropping today. Two days back we made the switch and set the lights to 12/12. Now the flowering stretch will begin, thus we bend the branches further outward in preparation for the canopy. When I do this I notice the branches are thick and sturdy, with no breakage at all unlike my previous grow, the gelato 33. I snapped some branches applying the super cropping and just normal bending with those. It seems like the fan (I didn't have a good option previous grow, hence the flimsier branches there) but also this lighting and soil regime are topnotch, asides from outdoor I haven't seen such lush bushiness yet, even on a more runt-like plant. This MarsHydro SP3000 is still performing great, such controlled temperatures, such an ocean of light. I only wish I started growing with this earlier. Thanks again @MarsHydroLED for trusting us to test your mighty flagship light. It is so well made, it oozes quality, I just want to touch it every time (also to check if it stays cool) and it is just sexy, slender, and compared to my other 300 watt light, a completely different spectrum and clarity. If you are looking for new lights, look no further. At www.mars-hydro.com they have excellent and unbeatable deals on tent and light combinations where you practically get a tent for free, it is ridiculous. I was afraid the light wouldn't cover the sides of my tent with my 4.5-foot space. Penny at MarsHydro had to laugh at this a bit, said not to worry. What an understatement. This light could signal to other galaxies. I sincerely recommend good sunglasses with this light. Only thing I'm adding is an infrared light Sunshine found. With this I'm going to simulate sunrise and sunset and try to prevent stress by easing the light in and out, like in nature. We are in flowering now, very excited to see what she will do here. What can she perform? Will she cover the net? Will she deliver gorgeous buds, like she is known to do? On these cliffhangers I hope you will tune in next week for more gorilla-related plantporn... go on... you know you want it. Hug Bud!!

I was told to never judge a strain purely off it's THC percentage. To smell a plant, and what your nose picks out is generally the strain that will jive the best with the endocannabinoid system in your body. This strain exemplifies that. It's only around 17% but the high is amazing. An under-rated strain for sure. Very easy strain to grow. Although the same strain, one looked pretty different and was much frostier despite getting the exact same treatment from seed to chop.

Hey! As I expected, all the plants bloomed last week (one is a little behind). In order for everyone to be at the same height, one of the plants had to be broken using the HST method, which seemed to have no consequences for growth. Two out of three plants showed a purple phenotype, I just love such changes, continue to monitor๐Ÿ˜Ž Thank you for stopping by, and be healthy! ๐Ÿ™ To be continued... ๐Ÿ˜ถ

D15 - 9.27 - Cruising along, just watering them once a day D16 - 9.28 - I planted carrots and transplanted the rest of the seedlings. They are all in the same space. That one LA Sunset never really started to thrive, but I'll keep it for now. D18 - 9.30 - I topped my first plant for mainlining. I picked the strongest FWW with the most growth tip at the 3rd node and just went for it. She may be a little young, so I left her fan leaves for support. I've decided to do 3 groups of two for this grow, in an attempt to experience how these different strains respond to different techniques - Pair 1 will be mainlined with 8 mains, Pair 2 will be mainlined with 4 mains and Par 3 will not be mainlined but traditionally topped to 4 mains. D19 - 10.1 - Topped the first Black Sugar for mainlining. Her growth tips are really nice looking. D20 - 10.2 - Have them all topped ๐Ÿ‘Œ
