On day 1 week 4 flower the girls are bulking up smelling great and some pistils are turning orange. The trichomes are still mostly clear with some milky trichomes starting. On day 3 one of my blumats had a runaway I believe from fertilizer sediment all I can do this late in the game is to lower the flow rate and hope that will solve the problem. It is strange that this is the same blumat that flooded when I went on vacation earlier on in the grow. I will inspect the blumat closer when I finish the grow. I tightened the carrot down 1.5 carrots. Except for the minor flood the girls are doing very well, even though they are too close to my grow lights :). On day 6 almost all the buds are starting to have a second growth spurt with some small white pistils showing, the trichome concentration is visibly growing and I expect to harvest the girls between week 8 and 9 of flower.

So this week i will be repotting the ladys in 5gal fabric pots with clay pebbles and a mix of biobizz light mix soil and all mix soil. I will be starting to use 4ml/1l of water of biobizz roots. I'm thinking of doing a 6 week veg on these ladys as I will be doing a 9 plant auto run in the 4x4. Happy growing guys.

She still has about 6 weeks left before I can harvest her so anything could happen between now and then , but if I can get her right thru to maturity I think I'll have some of The Finest medicine available 👌 Been feeding about 7 Litres a day of either plain water or water with some added goodies . Girls still stretching during the last week, couple really got up over the net but they are on the sides of the tent mainly so no biggy, looks like we might get a couple big ass buds off some of them on the flip side. Lol looks like 3 of the 4 seem to have made a run for the light, but the 4th is staying short and squat. I actually have another banana bomb going in a separate tent from the same seed pack started at the same time, just put her into flowering 2 weeks earlier. That one is under LED but it too stayed short and squat. I spread her out on a single screen and she barely stretched at all, no need for the second screen. So I was not really expecting these other 3 to go so dam big! Lol we will manage though like always. I tried to turn up the light to 1000w for a few hours too but they didn’t seem to like 300000+ Lux...lol kinda thought so, but I figured maybe with the light movers I could hit them with a bit more but not the case it seems, they came up to high over the screen and my lights maxed out height wise. They seem to be happy with the 750w now so we will keep it there. I’m still trying to figure out these light movers so I think that also had a play it the stretch as well, I believe I had them pausing to long at each end and the other end was to long without light, making them stretch more. I’m starting to dial it in I think for my setup now though, just takes trail and error and a long time to wait to see any changes. Lol this is my second run with this light mover setup now so I’m learning more each time. Well that’s it for now, we will keep on keeping on. Cheers!💨

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Grandaddy Purple from Blimburn Seeds! She is looking really good this week. She still have a few of the feformed leaves that look wrinkled. From some googling, I would guess either Tobacco Mosaic Virus or just a natural deformity. She a cutting from a previous run and she has it then too. It isn't wide spread and she still put out quality medicine. Even though she wasn't very Grandaddy Purplish, she was still gassy and frosty! This big lady has grown so so much this last week! She hit her preflower stretch and started flowering on me. She's doing great! I'm so glad I did a comparison with the large 7 gal pot. She does phenomenal in it! Did a little video of her today to show you the magnificent size of her and the many flowers sites that are starting to emerge.

Week 6 for the Oreoz from Super sativa seeds club. Amazing strain, the buds are hard as rocks and explode in trichomes. This strain is a must! I hope super sativa seeds club add this one to their catalogue after they completely finished their testings.

Stackn n gettn stinky. Every strain has sum kinda fruity note. The gorilla blue has the most distinct blueberry smell that Ive come across so far. The D has a fruity/floral thing goin on. The wedding cake is given me a fruit cocktail smell and so on amd so on. Started to see fungas gnats. Got cocky from last run amd didnt get nematodes, so mosquito dunks it is. Think im gonna top dress with some of the leftover dirt still in the tote this week and being done with it. Water n recharge til its done.

***** Week 7 Veg - January 16/21 to 22/21 ***** Week 7 will be their last week being able to take them out of the tent😟 SCROG netting going in on the weekend ahead. Not really a lot to report this week as the girls are doing well and I am just wanting their side branches to grow longer to help filling in the canopy anyway. Performed more LST this week and bending over the branches daily. Didn’t do any HST this week, will once the net is in and I have a better visual of how the branches need to bend. They have come a long ways over the last 2 weeks when you look back at pictures. They have filled out with more side branching and other than battling a little purple striping on the main stems they seem pretty happy. Leaf colour is good and should be in good shape for the flip soon. Will go through all of week 8 before flipping so hopefully week 9 will be transition week and week 10 the start of flower.......have to get through next week first though😀👍 Switching over to tap water again. I have been struggling with calcium and magnesium deficiencies on all grows for the last year. I can’t seem to get the right amount added back to the RO water I use in all feedings. So running with straight water again now. Ppm coming out is 325 so I will work with that. Going to explore my own RO system in the house rather than bottled water, a system that adds back calcium, magnesium, and iron. It’s been flowing okay for the first week and will continue on for now. Using RO water I have been feeding full strength on the nutrients and have been working on backing them down a bit to compensate for the starting point of 325 now. They have continued to be fed once a week roughly and supplemented with calmag and microbes. Little more detail....... Jan 16/21, Day 43 Veg - 3L each of full line at full strength in RO water - 1150ppm and 5.8pH given to the girls - didn’t add any other nutes other than IPP line. Jan 17/21, Day 44 Veg - dry out day - pulled down all the girls again tonight to train them outwards. - side branching doing very well on Candyland girls. Jan 18/21, Day 45 Veg - 3L for each girl today with tap water and CalMag @ 1ml, Microbes @ 2ml, Nature’s Candy @ 1.5ml - 700ppm and 5.7pH is what that works out to. - have to use a considerable amount of pH down to adjust the tap water, over 6ml in 16L Jan 19/21, Day 46 Veg - measured the girls today and Candyland1 is 14” tall and CL2 is 13” tall. They were topped already😀 - dry out day for the girls. Jan 20/21, Day 47 Veg - 2.5L each with plain tap water - 295ppm and 5.8pH. - all the girls are looking big and bushy today.......they are ready for flip soon. Jan 21/21, Day 48 Veg - dry out day for the girls. Jan 22/21, Day 49 Veg - pulled all the girls down again......repeating the same LST each day manually rather than tying down for now. - this should be water day but leaving for today as I am going to lolipop the lower branches and a heavier leaf stripping tomorrow. - will feed tomorrow as they will benefit more. Very solid week ETS......the girls are taking off and expect to see lots of leaves popping out over the next couple of weeks😀👍 Work on reducing the small stresses they seem to be experiencing more next week.......continue tap water and give a feed with Epsom Salts new week.

Day 47 - I topped, defoliated and flushed with plain ph’d water 10 days before switch to 12/12 These led lights keep the plants really short with a lot of middle bushy growth have already taken 2 bags full of leaves and all look healthy still🤞👍 Day 48 - Looking good day after topping and defoliation :) good sign will update end of week 8 flip to 12/12

I'm in love with the structure on this sugar cane. She takes training easily and has developed a beautiful canopy of tops without much effort. It's almost like she just knows what I want her to do. Day 35 is here. We are a week into flower and most the plants are just starting to hit that flowering stretch. I have been bending them down a little every couple days, but I need to focus on cleaning up some of the bottom branches so we can keep good air flow through the plants. Will work on that through this next week. I haven't done a water change, just been topping off the reservoir with fresh nutrients as they drink it up. Feeding half and half maxigro and maxibloom. Will cut out the maxigro in a couple weeks when I notice their stretch slowing down. I had a plant overflow this week because the drain line is getting full of roots. I noticed a couple roots have made their way into the reservoir already. I set a pump timer to 1 minute on and 20 minutes off so they can drain properly. I would like to make it through the grow without having to mess with the drains, but we will see what happens. I will make some modifications if needed. Other than that everything is running smooth and I hope we have some little pistils to show by next week. Thanks for stopping by ✌️

Method 🎚️ Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥🥥 1 volume emoji because there really was no method to this grow. Plant seed, let grow, cut down, enjoy regularly😉. Any time you have the luxury of rooting this plant in the earth (where it belongs) is a huge bonus. She didn’t need much of anything and took all she required (for the most part anyway) from the garden👍. OG’s in the emerald triangle pride themselves on the makeup of their soil and the quality of the plants they grow. I like to think that while this girl didn’t have that benefit - she got as close as she could to it here in the north. She was struggling heavy at the start when she was indoors. It must’ve been my error some how but she hated the coco medium, hated the nutes and hated the grow light. As soon as she was moved outside, she was a completely different plant - like she had been begging for the sun the whole time. 5/5 coconuts because you simply can’t beat growing in the ground as the cannabis gods intended😎. Yield🌴🌴🌴 Ahhh the great equalizer of grower egos. Let’s put all of the above in perspective; this girl ended up where she was out of necessity. She was exposed to the elements and potential rippers and named “the decoy” because her express purpose was to draw attention away from the other 2 plants that we didn’t want anyone messing with. Thankfully, no one with a thought to theft ever really noticed her and it wasn’t until late flower that she demonstrated herself to be an award winning plant👍🤘👍. Woulda thought she’d yielded more with how thin her side branches were in comparison to the buds. They were massive and she was ready to fall over by the time the chop window opened. But the buds were also somewhat less dense which made their final sizes a little deceiving. Another limiting factor was that some of her branches were pollinated - probably from a randy bumblebee that had gotten into it somewhere else. Like the other 2 outdoors this year, we pulled 6 or 7 seeds off this girl that may eventually get used in future grows. I’m certainly not opposed to the occasional seed as long as she’s not a full-on hermie that can’t be used. Who knows, maybe a breeding project Is in the cards next year🤔. End of the day, results were about as expected given her conditions and growing environment - 6.51oz of sun grown, sativa goodness👌. 3/5 palm trees for this - without some training and a more accommodating environment - we definitely left some of her potential on the table here. There’s still more than enough to go around though😉. Props Again, a shout out thank you to GD for the platform. Big thank you to HSO for breeding some wicked, awesome beans.
