Week 5: Transplant Time & Root Power! Oh man, this was one of those weeks! We transplanted all five phenos into bigger pots, and let me tell you, they’re thriving! (Check out the complete video episode for all the details 😉). The girls are looking amazing, all pretty much the same size for now, so I don’t have any favorites yet—but let’s see what the future holds! For photos, I used both my Nikon P900 and Sony A6000, with a bunch of lenses and filters to preserve the true colors—these LEDs are powerful! Current Setup & Conditions This week, they’re still chilling with their sisters in the big tent, but in about a week, they’ll be moving into the TrolMaster ecosystem for even better environmental control. Watering: pH 6.06, EC 0.96 Temperature: A bit cold , but it is what it is. 🌾 Harvest Day — The Grand Finale of the Eternity Grow Cup 🌾 Days 72–73 | Trimmed on May 25 | Posted May 27 What a journey this has been — and what a finish. These five incredible Runtz phenos have now completed their cycle, and today, we celebrate the final stage of their flowering life: the Harvest. We sent the girls into darkness on Day 70, allowing them a full 48+ hours of rest and reset. The dark period was just a bit longer, truth be told, because time… it flows as it must. This extended dark time helps increase resin production, allowing the trichomes to mature just that final bit more. On Days 72 and 73, we harvested them with care and reverence. Each plant was hung upside down, whole, in a perfectly controlled 60% humidity environment for 13 full days. Before hanging, we gently removed only the fan leaves, leaving all trichome-rich sugar leaves in place — a natural armor for the delicate resin glands during drying. Why do we do this? Because those sugar leaves help protect the essential oils and terpenes, preserving potency, flavor, and aroma for the smoothest experience later on. 🌿 The Dry Room & The Trichome Guardians Throughout the drying, we used a moisture meter to monitor the moisture content in the stems. Once it dropped to around 12–13%, we knew it was time. This tool is a simple but game-changing ally in ensuring a perfect dry — not too fast, not too slow. We then trimmed everything by hand over a 6.5-hour focused session. Armed with trim bins and good energy, we collected an abundance of glistening trichome heads in the process — a golden bonus from these resin-packed beauties. The leaves themselves told a story: deep purples, near-black shades, autumn fades and metallic tones — just stunning. Each girl was trimmed in order: #5 → #4 → #3 → #2 → #1, revealing dense, chunky buds all the way from top to bottom. Not a single pop-corn bud among them — only rock-solid nugs, heavyweight champions in every sense. 📦 Cure Begins – Grove Bags & Glass Jars Once trimmed, the buds were tucked carefully into Grove Bags and glass jars, each stabilized at around 61% RH. The Grove Bags handle the microclimate beautifully, keeping humidity between 58–61%, perfect for preserving all that hard-earned quality. We’re now opening the jars daily, monitoring aroma and feel. This part of the process — the cure — is where the soul of the flower truly comes to life. ☀️ UV, Reds & The Perfect Run Part of what made this run so special was the precision in light spectrum. 40% whites, full reds, UV and IR, and the girls responded like royalty. The UV pushed trichome development to the max. The deep reds gave us thickness, color, and weight. To my eyes, this was a perfect run. ⚖️ Final Yield: 1,302 Grams (1.3 kg) In a 4x4 tent — that’s just 1.2m x 1.2m for metric friends — we pulled in 1,302 grams of flower, not even counting the buds that were taken for filming, photos, or “quality control testing” along the way. 😉 Dense. Loud. Sticky. Resinous. 🌿 The Hidden Half: A Tribute to the Roots In every grow, there’s a part we don’t always see — a part that lives underground, quietly holding everything together. The roots. And this time, I wanted to honor them too. When we unpotted the plants after harvest, we were met with massive, dense root systems, completely filling the Autopot trays. These roots were vibrant, white and healthy, looking like noodles in a thick herbal soup — a true sign of vitality. The Autopots system, combined with the Aptus Holland Clean Program and Plagron Green Sensation, made sure they had the perfect environment to expand, absorb, and thrive. The PRO-MIX soil was the perfect foundation — light, fluffy, with excellent aeration. It all worked in harmony. Smooth week. This is a beast of a strain, wile o have two on the pot, since i germinated two seeds, i have planted both, but the two are beautiful i cannot kill one and choose… i have always wanted to plant this strain, I’m very happy i did! It is growing beautifully. I’m using velokelp from Remo and Nature’s candy i had laying around. That is compatible with living soil, and Moringa extract once a week. And have planted some companion plants as a soil cover. The Fastberry is in a super soil, next time all will be in a super soil… So easy, top up with some good bacterial / fungae , humic fulvic, seaweed and it is all good. Or straight water! Very minimal.

Hydro will be going in the flower tent once this run is wrapped up. I’m all out of horizontal space which is limiting the goal of gaining more width. Week 6 flower wrapped up I’ll say she’s the last one showing signs of bulking now from what I’m seeing she might out up the fattest colas in the tent once complete. All n all very happy with this homemade cross from WS.

First of all the blueberry glue auto keeps to amaze me entering week three and already so big. I topped her today several times and removed leaves that were covering the undergrowth i also removed the internodes and did some lst on her. Sweet mother of god! What a beautiful plant! Now I finally know what it means to grow US genetics. Sherbinskis in collab with Sensi Seeds has made some uniquely beautiful plant. She's dark, almost black, she's extremely good looking, and frankly I didn't expect the plant to look as good as the advertisement photographs but here she is! As beautiful as it can get! I've pushed my photography skills again and god damn, it was worth it. I don't know if any other plant has been this photogenic! The yield is great, as expected from a extra longer veg period. The smell is off the hooks! Please, have a closer look at all the photographs, there are soooooo many gems that should be able to win dozens of contest IN MY OPINION XD PS: Hopefully I'll grab your attention with these bomb ass macro shots!!!!! I screwed up guys. First of all, I'm very late updating and have a couple weeks to catch up on. Second, my cheap LG phone was screwing up last week so I did some maintenance clean up on it and totally forgot to make sure I'd uploaded photos to my drive first. I'd uploaded the pictures of the Autos because I updated those diaries, but I didn't upload the pictures of the photoperiods before I deleted a bunch of photos to make more room so those are gone. I could have kicked myself, gahhhh! Thankfully I at least have a video to share with you. On 8/1 I got some spent hardwood substrate blocks from a local mushroom farmer just a couple miles down the road. The blocks are still full of live mycelium that create a symbiotic relationship with the cannabis plant by creating a network in the plants root system where it trades nutrients it takes up from the soil for the sugars it needs. The main reason I got them was for "Problem Child" to see if the mycelium can sort out her nutrient issues and get her in a good groove for flowering, but all the plants should benefit from it. I'll have more for next week!

1/11: Fed today, but had no time for a photo sesh. All good. Systems nominal. 1/15: Was gonna feed today, but had no time... 1/16: Fed today...they were very thirsty... Took a few photos. Zenzations will be the first to finish..they are both senescing and smell great. Prolly another 14 days or so for them. Black Jacks and Gorilla Girls still have 3-4 weeks left to go.

Grow Diary Update: Northern Light Sisters - Week 11 The autoflower girls are hitting a spectacular stride here in week 11 as they push hard into their flowering phase. For the height check on our shorter, low-profile lady Makayla, the tape measure shows she is holding steady right around 15 and a half inches. She is focusing her energy on filling out dense side branching rather than stretching skyward. Meanwhile, our taller, Christmas tree-shaped sister Charlotte is stretching up higher, measuring right around 17.5 to 18 inches, positioned right next to her companion strawberry trap crop. The bud development across both plants is coming along beautifully. A close look at the stacking structure shows white pistils reaching out as the flowers begin to swell and pack on mass. The frosty trichome production is starting to look prominent across the sugar leaves, which is even clearer in the macro shots. Looking at the full profile of the main plant layout, you can see how neatly she sits in her fabric pot with the custom automated irrigation manifold loop keeping the organic root zone perfectly damp. The African marigolds are doing their job right at the base. The stacking on the upper half of the main cola is looking incredibly dense, showing magnificent node spacing. Finally, looking at the crown of the main bloom, the resin production is accelerating rapidly, giving the calyxes a beautiful, sticky appearance as we head deeper into peak bloom.

UPDATE - sat 6th March Doing good for first week. The change of light made all the difference. One is a hempy that I am going to add some worm castings and I’m already adding loads of microbes so it should buffer the ph for me. UPDATE - Monday I ordered some worm castings so I can mix it with my coco and perlite, as well as a few other goodies so I can treat a hempy more like a soil grow but get the benefits of the passive hydro system. I’ll probably use around 10%. I’m still waiting for my fan and my microbial product that is made by the same people as charge. It looks great. Loads of ph buffering microbes to munch on the vermicompost and enable me to get away without spending 60-70 on a ph meter.

Week 3 Update: Plant Growth: Progress has been slower than anticipated due to persistent cloudy and rainy weather. Despite the setbacks, I've noticed some signs of growth in the plants, albeit at a slower pace. Implemented Low Stress Training (LST) on a few of the stronger plants, including the Gorilla Glue and Gelato varieties, to encourage more robust growth. Weather Conditions: The weather continues to be a challenge, with only a few sunny days throughout the week. Rainfall has been frequent, making it difficult to provide the optimal growing conditions for the plants. Adaptations and Solutions: To counteract the lack of sunlight, I've constructed a mini tent equipped with LED lights to provide supplemental light and warmth to the plants. Despite the less than ideal conditions, the plants seem to be responding positively to the additional light and warmth. Nutrient Management: Feeding schedule adjusted to once every 2-3 days, alternating between water and nutrient-rich solutions. Using a combination of guano, worm tea, and a basic Grow NPK Autogrow mix to provide essential nutrients to the plants. Observations: Although growth has been slower than expected, I'm encouraged by the resilience of the plants and their ability to adapt to challenging conditions. Keeping a close eye on the plants for any signs of stress or nutrient deficiencies and adjusting care accordingly. Looking Ahead: Hoping for a change in the weather in the coming weeks to provide better growing conditions for the plants. Despite the challenges, remaining optimistic and committed to nurturing the plants to their fullest potential.

After watering 09 Oct 23 (Monday) I walked in and the before SOG photos are what it looked like, I put up the new net and tied a few tops down to spread the canopy out. With the new trellis in place I'm going to let theses ladies rip and add another trellis once they outgrow their current one.
