🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

11/4 130am Lights up to 77 watts 4.3 grams Maxi-Grow powder this week. Using mix from last week. Will probably switch to Bloom by Wed. 11/5 12am Canopy Creations LST things are great resistance training builds huge branches!!! They are amazing. 10am growing fast and big after today’s watering!!! Garlic muffin and fatso have the thickest branches that I’ve ever seen the side branches are thicker than what I got when I was growing in bigger containers so these nutrients and the soil and this light wattage seems to be a good formula I have to save this and work on it And stressing with the Canopy Creations has doubled the diameter of the branches that I have been stressing. Just great results. 11/6 Galic is the strongest so far her branches are THICK, a perfect 4 cola grow. Each of the 4 branches are as thick as the main stem on my first few tries at this. 12am They were all dry gave water probably last week using Grow switching to Bloom nutrients. Extremely strong plants from Seedsman!!!! When I finally got them going I found using Maxi-Grow & Rapid Start made a huge difference!!! Only Rapid Start for the first week. 11/7 1am GM & CA are huge now!! lights up 89W as the leaves fold up a little for the heat I will raise them an inch or so. 1pm did water today. They are starting to flower 11/8 12:30am Switched to Bloom nutrients yesterday after the last feeding with Grow they all went to sleep right away after that and are waking up now with flowers forming. I will use 4grams Bloom, 0.4 Purpinator, 0.5 Rapid Start, 0.4 Silica, 0.4 Cal/Mag. Silica causes fluctuations in pH. 2am Galic is a MONSTER, and Seedsman is out of them. Fatso is next for size. I can not believe how huge the branches are this technique of 4 colas in a small 1 gallon container. These plants will be perfect for this 9am LST crazy day!!! I have never been able to train the small set of first branches that come off the first node on plants before until seedsmen Faso and garlic🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 11/9 1am flowering I might have to split them up into 2 tents they are all getting bigger than I thought they could, this is just great! after 20 fails I think im getting this small grow style worked out. 1:30pm moved the RSQ's into tent 3. Tent 2 not big enough but I'll make it work. Once I harvest the plants from the 🎃 Halloween All the Darkness grow it will be easier. Galic & Fatso by Seedman are HUGE very thick branches, thick side branches responds to training extremely well. Strongest F1's!

This gorilla cookie by fast buds is freaking awesome guys, I'm really in love with this genetic, very strong smell, trichome glands everywhere, and 2 out of the 3 plants that I'm growing are going to develop full purple buds!! Amazing autoflower plant man, I'm not disappointed at all, I hope to get a nice amount of buds with the 3 Gorilla cookies because I cannot wait to taste those buds! Let's keep on working! 💓💚💛👨‍🌾

The grow went amazing started off what was supposed to be a auto GSC strain but didn’t auto flower which is no issue at all so went ahead an let her veg out an get the lst done that i wanted done on her she was showing pistils by week 8 veg letting me know she wanted to flower but some areas had a bit of catching up to do which turned out amazing. Got almost all the branches the same size to produce equivalent bud sizes throughout the whole canopy. During flower stage 2 weeks in started giving her a Pk boost of incredible bulk 1/2tsb per gallon. An did the GSC so good for flower stage she bulk up nice an the trichomes came in heavy. Total wet weight came in at 2.5lb stump was 1.5in circumference. I will update with finish photos an how the smoke was after cure. GSC currently being cured with love 63% Rh at 70 degrees temp. 17 Jan - 23 Jan 19 Jan Kush del Arriero: Looking good in color and size, planning to flush next week, hope those possible nanners don't develop enough, not removing due to harvest time being so close and this one being the one that will probably give me the best yield. Some buds and leaves getting purple colors. Choco Cookie: Still very small, hope they grow a little more before harvest. Some buds and leaves getting purple colors. Banana Cake: Small buds, decent trichomes. I hope that KDA won't cause much trouble to the other two plants, I hope I'm wrong about the nanners... Keeping my plans, finish with nutrients this Sunday and flushing for 7-14 days after that. I'll add a few more pics later today. Sat 22 Yesterday a friend with more experience in these things took a look at my plants, he seemed impressed by what I've accomplished on my first grow so far. He also confirmed that the weird things on the KDA buds aren't nanners... phew ! He also confirmed my plans for flushing tomorrow are good.

Fed once this week with a weak feed including top max. I use kombucha vinegar as pH down. Water from my tap is ph6.8-7.0 and 38-42ppm so I might start using calmag supliment as the ppm at my old house used to come out of the tap at ph7. 2 and 200-220ppm. I had 2 plants that didn't like the light at 30000 lux and started bleaching so I took them out. I've defoliated today day 35 as humidity was getting over 80% and also to let light to the lower bud sights. Pre flower pistils showed on some plants around day 33 (some still have none) so I'll consider this the end of veg start of flower. The kalimist indica pheno is still not showing pre flower pistils but is always hard to force flowering when it's not mature for some reason. It's always 7-14 days behind everything else 🤔

This grow will likely last > 30 weeks. Since GD only supports 30 weeks of diaries, this "week" will actually last two weeks. Hey guys she's doing good but we had to repot an added extra soil and perlite mix with some worm casting and some clay Peeble, good stuff ya know so she keeps getting bigger and bigger Keep on growing 👍🏻✨

Week 10! Only a few more to go then glory!! Watering regular 2L every 3 days. Use of GHE nutrients I have been using half dose so I don't get a nutrient lockout. Saw a few GNATS flying around my tent!! Put out a few Sticky Stiks to catch them and gave a light spay of insecticide with the light off for half hour. I also put up a fly strip, not to hopeful? This could be a problem if not caught right away!! First thing I gotta do is stop watering them,dry out to kill the larvae in the top inch of the soil. The best way to kill fungus gnats and other crawlers is Diatomaceous Earth Powder. Sprinkle on top of soil, works great. Gnats are gone now took 3 days.

Growing well so far. This week I added some LST to encourage outward growth. Things started to get a little wonky towards the end of the week bit once she starts to stretch out i think she will look a little neater.

Today is day 70 since the plants have sprouted, and day 27 of 12/12 light schedule. The buds have gotten a little plumper this week, particularly on the Train Wreck, but that plant seems to be a few days ahead in the flower process. I've been trying to overcome the yellow leaves on the Train Wreck plant, and I keep feeding the plant according to the "aggressive" feed chart from General Hydroponics, but it just isn't enough. I was a little worried about the pH in the soil getting too low or something, but the meter I have says it's actually on the high side. This point represents about halfway through the flower stage since I plan on going about 5 more weeks. The Train Wreck is expected to flower for 9-10 weeks, and the Royal Runtz for 8-9 weeks. The purple color on the Royal Runtz seems to be growing on each of the buds, and has a clear correlation to the amount of light hitting the bud. I'm interested to see if the buds below the canopy get the same purple coloration as the top buds. Temperatures were getting a little high early this week when I turned the light up to 95%, getting to about 82F. I moved the power supply for my light outside of the tent hoping it would reduce temperatures, but it only brought the temperatures down to 80F. On the bright side, my controller is generally keeping the humidity at 60% or less, compared to when the temperatures were at 82F and the humidity was closer to 65% most of the time. I measured the PAR for the tallest bud in the tent, which is getting about ~1200PAR, compared to the ~650PAR the Royal Runtz is getting. I wish I could lift up the Royal Runtz more to get it closer to even with the Train Wreck, but I've already lifted it up and both plants are bound by the scrog net. I noticed powdery mildew on a few leaves on the Royal Runtz, which I've been worried about given how bushy it is. The fan in the tent also doesn't blow directly on the plant, so I added a fan from my other tent to blow directly through the plant from the bottom, and moved the original fan to blow more directly on the Royal Runtz. I'll be turning off the humidifier completely for a bit while keeping a close eye on the plant to see if any more PM develops. Edit: While looking closer at what I thought was white powdery mildew, I noticed there were pollen sacks dropping pollen on the Royal Runtz plant. I sprayed the areas I saw polled/sacks with water and removed any buds I thought may have been affected as well as anywhere I saw pollen sacks. I'm sure I missed plenty, but I'll be watching the plants extra close from now on and assassinating any potential sacks I see. We'll see how seedy the tent gets, I guess.
