Day one of flower finally here, top dressed with Gaia Green & worm castings but I have also began high frequency fertigation with emerald harvest nutes on top of the dry amendments. Plants have not looked healthier. I get the benefits of high frequency fertigation and have a stable root zone as it's packed with organic matter. I still use recharge at every watering also, except when giving silica. With the new watering style I now water 7 times daily with nutes or suppliments in every watering.

She’s went quite purple for me the trichomes are thick what a killer strain to go it was my first exotic mikes genetics looking forward to the next run with exotic genetics.. stated flushing the slurrican IX yesterday she be chopped by day 60 . Hi legends, Day 47 of week 7 This week has seen a massive difference, 3 of the plants have started turning purple which I find strange as all the cutting were taken from the same mother plant. we also have a leaf with seed pod the same as Bnc grower, not sure what causes this anyone? but my guess is that she just wants to get germinated any way she can.. Have started to flush with pre RO water at ph 6.3, this is near impossible to ph with a meter at 0 CF, So I have to PH the water with PH 6. 7.6 colour chart. Also this week the buds are much more resinous and the aromas are fantastic, especially fruity with a very distinct peach smell. I also noted that IMO many smaller buds have not been receiving enough light and therefore not ripening as well, these will be used for making hash looking at the trichomes most still clear but on the purple plant they are mostly cloudy. I lollipop them today!!!!!😁😁😁😁😁😁 It's their 37 day and they just started getting into Flower and getting taller so I Lollipoped them and did a little bit of defoliation so the light will get to the bit lower buds sites since I did some LST in a bit later stage which went incredible. But it meant some buds sites are big but still a bit lower in comparison so I didn't take them out of course. And i did some SCroG but took it out the day before the lollipop and we'll see if the girls are fine I will put it back in 2 days or so depending on the plant growth

Tomorrow the lights will be switched off for the next two days and then they will be harvested at the weekend -13.09.2024 Today the lights will be switched off until Sunday and on Sunday both plants will be harvested -15.09.2024 The plants were harvested today and will hang in the box for the next two weeks before they go into jars. The humidity is 45% and the temperature is 22 degrees Celsius -22.09.2024 The plants continue to hang upside down in the box and dry. The air humidity is around 50%-65% but the fans are running 24/7, the fresh air supply and air circulation are very good so I'm not worried. If anything happens, I will update it here. Otherwise there will be an update when the plants are dry

Que pasa familia, empezamos la primera semana de floración de estas Gelato Olandese de Dutchfem. Parecía que no querían tirar al principio, pero es que no veáis de un momento a otro se quedaron sin espacio, vaya estirón esta última semana. Están bastante sanas , tienen muy buen color, se practicó una limpia de bajos y ramas que no eran necesarias porque no llegaran a la luz. Hasta ahora todo bien y ya superamos esta primera semana. This fading process is a critical part of the journey, helping the plants naturally finish their cycle while preserving those complex terpene profiles we all love. The Mold Incident: A Teachable Moment This week brought a challenge—a few buds succumbed to bud rot (Botrytis), particularly on the Papaya Zoap and a single bud from the Gorilla Melon. While disheartening, it’s a reminder that mold can occur even in the most well-maintained gardens, especially with dense colas and a full canopy. After a thorough inspection, all affected buds were removed and discarded to prevent the spread. A quick note to all growers: defoliation plays a massive role in airflow and prevention of such issues. This is why mid-flower defoliation is a game-changer, and I’m grateful it kept the rest of the garden healthy! Papaya Zoap’s Unique Quirks The Papaya Zoap continues to be a star of the show with its frosty buds and… albino tips! These tiny white tips are likely from being too close to the lights. While it’s a cosmetic detail that doesn’t affect quality, it’s a fascinating display of how genetics and environment interact. A Frost-Filled Wonderland The room is absolutely glistening with frost.
