Spent almost 5 hours defoliating other plants and got too high and drunk a bit, so dry trim chosen for first two ;)))) Day 93. Last girl down ! Dry trim again ! @PurpleWorship just to prove my kilo idea I made a video for you ;))) this one was starved, she needed watering yesterday, so I could bump her to 1.5 easy .... Her sisters were heavier ;))) will do one more with monster Green Crack, can make a bet she will be above 2 kg easy ! ;))) Made some bubble hash, got light brown and pinky colour at the end when dried. So I had a few issue. I over watered early on, took them out the seed tray early, started feeding them a week or two late, no humidifier yet but they recovered well.

Week one of Flower in the books that two days of darkness got the girls looking great going into flower. I can see them showing their sex and little buds are starting to form. The leaves have a very nice faint aroma if you touch them and smell you hands very nice smell. All 11 girls are super healthy. Running them on the Growlink has seemed to be pretty much worth the price tag it definitely helps with being able to take care the garden more efficiently with the girls being water automatically. I still do my check ups and maintenance to make sure everything is running smooth but my work flow is way smoother with an automated room. The Gorilla cookies FF and one of the orange sherbets are the taller ones of the plants on the table. The other two orange sherbets FF and all 3 of the wedding cheese cakes are short bushy plants. Wedding cheesecake FF has a unique look and growing shape very short and compact and full of leaves.

Day 57 - Starting week 9 and she’s looking great. Not a very tall plant but very compact and tight buds forming. Gave her a feeding of foxfarm’s trio today. Day 58 - Nothing to really update on this beauty today. She’s doing well and showing no real ill effects to the feeding yesterday. Letting her dry out a bit before watering her again. Normal watering is about every 2-3 days so possibly tomorrow or Monday. Day 59 - Nothing new today, just checked to see if she needed some water and wanted some updated pictures. Looks like another day or two before watering. Day 60 - Day 60 and she’s smelling amazing. Seeing some of the pistils starting to shrivel up but still think she’s got a couple weeks left. Gave her a full gall on water today, she was pretty dry. Will probably give her one more feeding of nutes this weekend and will start flushing with foxfarm’s sledgehammer. Day 61 - Since she doesn’t have too much time left before chopping, I did a fairly heavy defoliation to try and get her to pack some more weight on. Still thinking she’s got 2-3 weeks left, I’d like to let her go until she’s maybe 60% amber. I really enjoy the couch lock in the evenings and helps with my back. Day 62 - Looks great and still fattening up. Looking at her now, I’m not sure how long she’s got. Still thinking about 2 weeks but looking at the trichs she’s got some time, mostly clear with some cloudy. Will be giving her some water tomorrow. Day 63 - Today is the end of week 9 and looks good. Still slightly wet soil so gonna hold of until tomorrow or Saturday and give her the last feeding of nutes before harvesting. She will get nothing but water and then foxfarm’s sledgehammer until she’s done.

This brings the Journal up to speed. So going to start the 48 hour FLush this upcoming Sunday as well as going to move it to 48 hours of light insted of 48 hours of darkness. Then straight into the Freeze dryer to bring it down to 60% humidity in the bud and then to the curing jars. I added a small video of the garden and will update this week further near day 35. 9/20 // The ladies rebounded nicely from the 9/11 overfeeding. Fed and watered them today. Willow at 1/4 nutes and Buffy at 1/8 nutes. 9/22 // Feeling good at the end of week 5. The ladies have responded well to the light feeding on 9/20, and I have started adding Big Bud to the mix.

So I left for a week and had a trusted friend take over watering duties. A few things of note: I was concerned over overheating the grow so I turned the power down to 75% and ran the light up another 6 inches. This had the unfortunate effect of less airflow and cooler temps so I got powdery mildew that I would be fighting for the remainder of the grow. That aside, the plants looked way more mature when I returned home, with nice trichome development and density.

Some of you may have wondered: Why do I use CO2 at average 950 ppfd μmol/m2/s (moral flow)? The answer is quite simple. Because of lack of space in some regions of my cultivation area, I simply cannot keep the ideal distance to my Sanlight high-performance lamp, due to some height growth of various strains. And so some of the main colas have ppfd values of 1250 μmol/m2/s and even more... So this is how I manage to achieve and compensate for such high radiation levels even with a CO 2 balance. And I have to say, my strategy to avoid various light stress symptoms works just fabulously. In combination with CO 2 implementation, my babies are simply unbeatably insensitive to light. Thats it! Beginning of 3rd week flowering: Again feeding my babies by 36 hours fermented potions of Bio Tabs Kompost Tea PK-Booster (15 g pro Liter) and added: 5ml Orgatrex/Liter 1 Spoon of Bactrex 1 Spoon of Mycotrex 1 Spoon of Mycco-Vital 1 Spoon of Dynomyco A little tip for those who are interested in small modifications that have a big difference or influence - on the result - effect - beauty - health - taste! Before adding microorganisms or beneficial bacteria or Mycorrizae and Trichodermas, please use oxygen-saturated water. On the one hand, unwanted chlorine gases evaporate and the small world of the microbiome becomes even faster and more rewarding in compost tea to sprout. Last but not least for this week, I would like to introduce my reasons, why I prefer growing biologically and sustainably. First of all, it’s something which suits very well in these times/days we are living now. Sustainability is a big need and task for our planet. 🌎 Nature means life. Our home, the air we breathe and everything that surrounds us. Not just today. Hopefully tomorrow as well. Maybe I'm starting to protect our environment on a small scale, but maybe I can also make a big difference at all. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change... I thought about what’s the difference, between Mineral Feeding and Super Soil Feeding. It’s very easy. Biologically Growing is a similar process than the natural soil activities out there in the lap of nature’s. So plants has to work and interact with the microorganisms and microbiomic communities in the soil. So the plants will never get lazy like the lazy ones of mineral feeding growers. If you grow biologically, you will feed the soil first and the microorganisms will support every parameter next to your plant conditions. And that will generate an unbelievable spectrum of Terpenes and Trichomes you will never forget. It’s the same comparison, when you daily visit McDonalds and you eat only fast food. This means that I am forced to take additional heating measures due to structural facts in order to be able to keep the temperatures constant. In addition, my exhaust air system runs out of my bedroom terrace and I therefore grow winter and summer with the patio door open. Well, sometimes I experience real weather-related challenges. But all in all, no problem... "Where there's a will, there's a way." Addendum to pouring out the fermented PK tea: I always administer half a liter of lukewarm aerated water with 3.5 ml of cannazyme per liter to each plant. This means that the "root machine" is not supplied with supplies unprepared and the nutrient solution can thus also be better distributed in the soil. Since I also work with cloth shoes, I spray them evenly moistened everywhere with water that is also warm before pouring them out from the outside. This has the advantage that the moisture stays where it should: in the pot! ... I did the math today ;-) We are still in week 7 until this Friday. And week 8 starts on Friday! Love them too. Very beautiful genetics. Today a review video of the beginning of week 3. At the time of the pictures, I had minor signs of nitrogen excess. (Light peaks first at the crown of the roof and then slightly continuing to the middle section.) I then painstakingly racked my brains as to why this could be. I found that very slight dry spots had formed and therefore the root found small accumulations of nitrogen that caused its problems. But then, when I carefully homogeneously checked the moisture content in the substrate, the problem evaporated again. However, they had not shown any loss of growth rate during this time. Nevertheless, they developed as expected. They Strawnanas had no problem with that. In the end, I always have a hard time killing them. But I guess that's the way things go. We live and die. Weather has been solid so far. Lots of sunny days ranging from 75-85 degrees, keeping things smooth. Really enjoying this grow and looking forward to the coming weeks.

8/23 I WATERED THE NATURAL MK ULTRA AND THE 10TH PLANET IN THE BACK WITH A GALLON AND THE TWO TENS SPLIT A GALLON. It's hotter today and the wind is picking up. I wish I had gotten rid of that plant when I thought to. Oh well. I'm going to have to bite the bullet and treat things. Smell is increases as well as flower size. However I'm noticing more leaves that are yellowing and falling off. Smell has intensified. The special kush in late flower doesn't seem to be producing trichomes like it should. Or maybe it's still early. I see some but by this time I would think it would be frosty as hell! It's rained like once this summer. I've put tons of work into defoliating. I'm not sure if I'll try a controlled spray trying to avoid buds or if I should use a sponge and just hit every leaf. At least I'm seeing that the buds are still expanding and smelling despite these invisible Bastards. It's not like I see them. Even my traps only caught like one. I'll update as I go. EDIT: WATERED THE TENTH PLANET AND THE LATE SOECIAL KUSH 1 GAL. PLAN ON FEEDING TOMORROW. I DID A SHIT TON OF DEFOLIATION. THEN I TOOK A SPONGE AND EITHER DEFOLIATED OR WIPED THE LEAVES WITH A SPONGE AND SAME CONCOTION ON THE SPECIAL KUSH IN THE TEN. I DEFOLIATED MORE AND THEN "SPOT TREATED" A FEW LEAVES ON A BOTTOM BRANCH OF THE 10TH PLANET WITH MITE X. I'M WAITING UNTIL THE MORNING TO SEE THE RESULTS AND BEFORE I MOVE FORWARD. I HAVE ORGANOCIDE BEE SAFE AND I KNOW IT WORKS GOOD BUT IT SMELLS LIKE SHIT. IM HOPING ILL FIGURE THIS OUT. 8/24 Didn't have time to do a video or take any pictures. I pit a lot of work in the garden yesterday. I removed a couple small branches that had mold on the stem. If I had listened to my intuition and moved that plant (instead of listening to my dad) I probably could've negated this mess. Windy as hell yesterday. Maybe that's why I don't see mich damage from the thrips. The runt in the 50 has some silver ingredients on it. I'm considering using spinosad. Those are way earlier in flower and that shit WORKS. If I can't beat it I may junk them. I'm planning on treatingvtge plants I didn't yesterday tonight. I may use a different treatment I'm not sure. EDIT: Went back over and took a few pics and a video. I defoliated a SHIT TON of leaves. I can just tell the ones that the thrips have been sucking and laying eggs. It's windy as hell. Plants are going crazy. I'm wondering if the wind will hurt the thrips. Maybe I should've just stood with the wind at my back and throw a buNch of D.E. in the air and have it coat the plants. I'm scared of using d.e. because it absorbs so much water. It's like 80%! The year I had fusarium I put a bunch of d.e. on the soil and it retained water like a mofo. The plants I treated showed no I'll effects. I'm th8nkobg I'm going to remove patient zero and isolate it. And I'm considering using spinosad on the pink kush. What would you do? It's a strong plant though. I'll check on her when I get back. I'm looking for some Castille soap this morning and the rest of the things to make a diy lost coast plant therapy. The plants look good though and the flowers are really stacking up. I don't see that silvery shit so it doesn't look like it's spreading real fast. The pink kush is in early flower and I'm considering spinosad for them. They have a long ways to go. I'm not sure. I may just use the diy spray. I'm not sure. EDIT: WENT OVER AFTER SUN DOWN AND MIXED UP THE DIY GREEN CLEANER/LCPT. I USED RUBBER GLOVES AND TREATED THE HUGE MK ULTRA, THE TWO TENS AND THE REVEG 10TH PLANET. I ONLY TREATED FOUR PLANTS. I HAD A PRETTY GOOD METHOD BUT IT WAS SLOW. I PUT THE LEAF BETWEEN MY GLOVED HAND AND SPRAYED THAN RAN THE LEAF THROUGH MY FINGERS TO AVOID FLOWER. ON PLANTS WITH SMALLER FLOWERS I WAS ABLE TO JUST FOLD THE LEAVES UPWARD AND GET THE BOTTOMS. ILL CHECK AND SEE HOW IT WORKED IN THE MORNING AND GO FROM THERE. WE GOT SOME GOOD RAIN TODAY. IM WORRIED ABOUT MOLD THOUGH. THATS WHY IM HESITANT TO SPRAY BUT SOME FLOWER IS BETTER THAN NONE. 8/26 IT POURED last night. Sheet rain. The storm had passed and it was like a 14% chance of rain at night. Oh well. The girls seemed to have loved it! The looked great this morning. I shook everything off and got soaked in the process. Inspected for damage and luckily didn't find any. I'm feeling optimistic about my diy green cleaner lcpt. I'm seriously considering spunosad on the pink kush as it's earlier in flower and I think it could handle it. I might just use this spray first and see how it goes. Buds are swelling and seem bigger everyday. I looked at some old diaries and I can see ive had thrips before. I also have some insect (ear wigs or pillars) that target lower branches and kinda lollipop them. I hope it's not earwigs because I've had bas luck dealing with them. I'll have to check at night. EDIT: WENT OVER AROUND THREE TO CHECK THINGS OUT. PLANTS LOVED THAT RAIN AND SEEMED TO LOVE THE TREATMENT AS WELL. THAT RAIN AND WIND DEFINATELY DISRUPTED THE THRIPS. THE SPRAY I USED SHOULD KILL ON CONTACT AND SUFFOCATE EGGS AND LARVAE. PLANTS LOOK THE HAPPIEST IVE SEEN THEM IN A WHILE. I CANT TREAT THE OTHER PLANTS TONIGHT BUT I SHOULD HAVE TIME TOMORROW NIGHT TO GET WHAT I MISSED. IF ITS NECESSARY. ILL KEEP AN EYE OUT. 8/27 Rained some last night. I had to shake everything off this morning. Looking back through previous diaries I've HAD thrips before and couldn't identify it and made it to harvest so I think I'll be OK. BUDS arecrcploding in growth and the smell is turning into tjat pungent aroma we all love. The early special kush smells amazing. I think the rain and wind helped with the thrips. I'll do another application and get the plants I missed. That pink kush in the ten looks pretty rough. I probably would've been better off to ditch it earlier it's been treated now so I'll keep an eye on it amd I may just cut it. If I put in the work they would be fine. At least I hope so. We'll see. I'll update as I go. 8/28 Had to shake the plants off this morning. Must've rained last night. I'm not used to that since we've been in such a drought. I'll check later but I'll probably hold off as most are still heavy. I probably should selectively water the thirsty ones but I think tjey can make it. The rain (or the treatment) has greatly helped cut down on thrip population. Nights are in the 40's so it's not the most hospitable environment for them. I'm still keeping an eye out and will be applying another treatment at some point. I didn't do a video this morning as it was kinda dark. I'll check them again when I get back. It's suppised to rain tomorrow all day. I think I might bring the furyhest special kush in the barn under lights for the day. That way those huge buds don't get soaked. I'll play it by ear.

********Week 1 Flower - Sept 19 to 25, 2020******* We switched to flower this week and put in the first SCROG layer.....been busy😃 These girls have some very thick main branches and are pushing out some huge fan leaves💪 They were easily stretched out horizontally to fill in the net and the topping helped to keep the canopy at an even height. The girls are in the same tent as another strain that is known to grow big and will benefit from a SCROG. I don’t feel these girls necessarily need one though. To combat this I decided to set the Cream 47 on boxes before putting in the netting. I set them on boxes which put them 10” taller than Gorilla Girls......may still not have been enough but that is what we are running with🤞😃 Pest maintenance this week as we are getting the last days I am able to comfortably spray the girls. Lost Coast Plant Therapy to keep the gnats, aphids and thrips in check😃 Had a small mishap this week and a damn fan fell on one side of C471 while opening the tent. The net helped to not make this more disastrous but it still set her back a day or two. She has bounded back now and that side of her is coming back and getting taller. At the end of the week I finally gave in and started to pull some of the upper fan leaves😗😗 There is so much leaf in this little 3’ x 3’ tent that it is impacting airflow.......would love a 4‘ x 4’😃 They have reacted very well to the removing of the leaves and those branches are standing up taller and look more healthy the next day!! Keeping the waterings up and getting a fair bit of runoff from the feedings but that is best for Coco to avoid lockouts and pH issues. There were only three feeding days this week. We switched to bloom nutes for base and added silica for supplementals. Vitamin B and Kelp coming from B52 and sweetener for the microbes from bud candy. As well as Sensyzime to let the enzymes clean up the root zone because they have been in the pots for a few weeks now. Little more detail: Sept 19/20 - Day 1 - Plant Therapy @ 5ml in 1L water. Ph to 5.4. - Folier spray applied to whole tent half hour before lights on, used 3/4 of mixture - Feeding mixture was Sensyzime @ 1ml only - 25ppm and 5.2pH......missed it a bit. - each girl given 3L - SCROG put in Sept 20/20 - Day 2 - Sprayed the last of the IPM mixture on the tent tonight. - Noticed several small shinny spots on leaves later today.....suspect from Folier spray on leaves. Sept 21/20 - Day 3 - Nice full strength week 1 mixture applied today - Rhino Skin, Cal Mag @ 2ml, Sensi Bloom A&B , B52, Bud Ignitor, Bud Candy @ 1ml. - 625 ppm and 5.7pH - 3L given to each girl.......not enough runoff.....bump feedings up to 4L going forward. - silica added today. - freaking fan dropped on C471 today in the one corner🤬 Could have been worse👌 Sept 23/20 - Day 5 - CalMag @ 2ml, Rhino, Sensi Bloom A&B, B52, Bud Candy, Bud Ignitor @ 1ml. - 850ppm and 5.9pH - 4L given to each girl. - better run off amount That wraps up the first week of flower........Cream 47 was more of a transition week while Gorilla Girl was well in flower. The net is in and the lights flipped. The girls were ready for flower and now we just need to keep giving them what they want for the next 6 weeks and then coast from there👍 Hopeful they will find another 12” of growth in them but not sure they will stretch that much in the net....time will tell. Sweet Seeds girls making me smile again with anticipation of some fat colas from these girls😃
