7/27/2023- Prep Tent and system are cleaned and ready to go from my last grow. I have submitted my Journa for the Diary of the Month Competition here is to hopeing for good resutls. 7/28/2023- Germination Day 0- Seed initiation Well lets get this new Grow started.. So My Dad Sent me a custom Landrace Strain that he wanted me to grow out and Breed for him. The Strain is Called Black African Magic: Black African Magic, Alson known as BAM, is a Sativa pure land race strain, It's classified under the Cannabis Sative species and its genetics come from Africa-the Ituri Forest in the Dmocratic Repoublic of Congo. The Effects are said to be Very Psychedelic, used for Stress managment and for better sleep and rest. This is my frist Land Race so we, will see how this goes together.. RO Water Used Added Hydrogen Peroxided 8/1/2023- Germination Achieved G-Day1 Popped her head above the root riot today to say hello.. Woot first challenge when dealing with an unknown seed and a new Strain is getting the seed to pop and the lady to show life. 8/2/2023- Germination Day 2 Took the root riot out today and it was soaked not good plant drowing again. I am still having a hard time finding the right blance for where the water should be to keep the root riot moist and not soaked. I had to drain some of the water out of the root riot plug to help give a little oxygen. I also removed some of the water. 8/3/2023- Germination Day 3 Looking good stretching her leaves out to let in the lights 8/4/2023- Germination Day 4 Looking good a few days until I put them into the RDWC System and get this thing rocking and rolling. 8/5/2023- Germinaiton Day 5 Looking good will probably plant tomorrow if the roots are still looking good. 8/6/2023- Plant Day- Germination Day 6 Planted into the RDWC System today. Joy when they go into the system as long as we dial that in right this will now be a great grow.. Survived the hard part.. 8/7/2023- Germination Day 7 Everything looks like it is going good, she is showing some damage on the lower leaves from the over watering in the cloning machine but right now I don't see any new damage. 8/8/2023- Germination Day 8 Added the first Nutes today, to help support root growth and to help give there first jump to growth. I will take off the damage leaves probably tomorrow. 8/10/2023- Germination Day 10 She looks like she is on track the roots are starting to come out of the basket very small but starting. 8/11/2023- Germination Day 11 Cleaned up the dead leaves... Day 1 VEG tomorrow.. Water Change Day and first real meal...

So i had to take all my plants inside because i found bud rot on 2 of them & the weather wasn’t going to get any better, had to transform my bedroom into a grow room😂 & i have 2 more plants which i am going to finish next to a window.. The smaller plant to the right is a Northern light by zamnesiaseeds that has a seperate diary if you are interested! I really hope the bud rot doesn’t spread anymore & if anyone has any tips or tricks for that they are always welcome!

We’re closing in on what I’d call the subjectively ideal harvest window. Amber trichomes are now appearing on the sugar leaves, which (by rule of thumb 😄) means the rest are likely cloudy. The aroma is exactly as expected — like smashing your face into a bowl of cookie dough. What up fam, weekly update on these gorgeous girls. They're showing preflowers now which I'm definitely happy as that means the stretch is almost over. I did add a 2nd scrog net its 6ft high. Overall, I couldn't be happier with how they've grown. Happy Growing.

Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

Its end of six week of veg... plants looks ok..last week I tied them down.now I do scroog and some cleaning.i think three more weeks and then I will switch them to flower..I add terpinator to nutritions.this is new for me.we will see ... nice green day to you all people💚

The flora has started, and I increased the amount of MKP while reducing calcium nitrate. PPM is slightly above 1000, nearing 1200. The pH remains between 5.8-6. They are in that phase of substantial daily growth, hoping for a bountiful harvest. I'm still defoliating and tying them.

Good amounts of bud swelling going on. I'm going to switch them all from Big bud to Overdrive soon. Quality on these buds are very good. Very good genetics. Looking to harvest sooner rather then later because humidity is 50-70%... I normally have good judgment and harvest right when they are ready and avoid mold/rot. I just have to be careful. After this grow I'm shutting down this grow room for a short time for upgrades to fix my humidity/temperature issues once and for all. I did not expect winter to bring condensation in here room like this. P1 Her buds are still pretty young. I adjusted my lights around so now she has more light. She should swell up nicely in the next week or 2. I did drop a LED light while moving lights and snapped 2 branches a few days ago. Shes fine tho. P2 This girl is a fast finisher. She buds are ripening up very fast. I'm thinking she will come down on day 65-70. She smells so freaking incredible tho...mmm cant wait. I switched her from Big bud to Overdrive on day 56. She will be ready to go very soon. P3 Beautiful buds but fluffy, very sticky and smelly tho. P4 Alot of tight buds maybe they will swell up fat. P5 She now has a true 360w flood light all too her self. Lots of big buds and shes a big drinker.

Grow Diary – Day 79 (Flowering Day 59) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Flushing – pH-adjusted water only Lighting: LED at 50% intensity Date: May 30 Status: Final flush in progress – harvest slightly delayed Today marks Flowering Day 59, and the Sour Frootz are now well into the ripening phase. For the past three days, only pH-adjusted water has been given, initiating the flush phase. At this point, the nutrients in the soil are nearly depleted, and the plants are naturally drawing on internal reserves—visible through gradual leaf yellowing and fade. The plants are approaching ideal harvest maturity. The delay in harvest by a few days allows more amber to develop and maximizes terpene maturity without compromising overall quality. Lighting Conditions: • The LED is currently running at 50% power to gently finish the ripening process while minimizing light stress and preserving essential oils during these final days. Plant Observations: • Buds are hard, resinous, and aromatic • Strong sour/citrus funk intensifies with every day • Natural senescence is occurring – older fan leaves fading evenly • No nutrient deficiencies or toxicity present • Humidity stable around 50%, airflow is optimal • No signs of mold or late-stage issues Outlook: Harvest is likely to occur within the next 3–5 days, depending on final trichome checks and desired effect. You’re in the home stretch now, with flavor and resin peaking. Continuing to monitor closely for optimal harvest timing is key from here.

NOTE: THE COUNTING OF DAYS STARTS FROM THE DAY THE SEED STARTS ITS PROCESS, IN THIS GROW DAY 1 WAS THE MOMENT THE SEED GOT INSERTED INTO THE EASY START (i do not recomend this method for experienced growers, but higly recomend it to unexperienced growers that might accidentally damage their seedling's new root as they move them from the germination zone into their next or final pot, with easy start you can just pick up the small cube of soil and place it inside the next pot GENTLY). Day 1, Week 4 of Flower – Things Are Getting Real We’ve officially hit day 1 of week 4 in flower, and it’s starting to get real in here! Buds are growing fast, stacking up nicely, and the aromas are straight fire — it's getting stinky in the best way. The terps are really coming through now. PPMs are sitting steady at around 1000, pH is hovering around 5.8, and everything’s been pretty dialed in on the feed side. I do wish I had defoliated a lot more before flipping. Honestly, my whole training kind of went sideways when I switched to flower. I went a little too hard with the LST, and now I’ve got a jungle of leaves with loads of bud sites — way more than I expected. It looks like a big bushy mess up top with some nice buds, but quite a few lowers aren’t getting the light they need. I’ve said this before, but I won’t say it again — lesson learned. Next round, I know exactly how I’m going to approach training, and I won’t be making the same mistakes. But all in all, things are still looking good. If everything keeps going as it is, I’m hoping to pull around 7 ounces of some solid, dank smoke

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed. Day 85. Because she still had mostly clear and some milky trichomes last week, I decided to continu giving her nutes. Also her official flowering time (vision seeds info) is 8-9 weeks. And since see seems to be a bit slow with everything, I thought it was a good idea to keep nuting her. 5ml/L seems a bit too much though, because I notice more burned leafs. Last week (11) the fan leafs started to get lighter green. Now they are turning yellow and are hanging loosely. Is it benificial too take them of from her at a certain moment? I will check trichomes every other day and will probably will start the flush now, because the trichomescheck today showed some amber colours I didn't noticed earlier. I would love to hear from experienced trichomescheckers if there are indeed the first signs of trichs getting amber or not. Also I still got a lot of clear trichs. My goal is too harvest her when most trichomes are milky and maybe 10 to 20 percent amber. Day 86, nooooooo budrot 🤒🤕😢. Cut off the infected buds. Put vinegar on her cutt wounds. I will keep her indoors with a blowing fan during tbe night and check buds daily. Day 87, This morning I noticed a 3rd cola with a tiny bit off budrot. It was close to another one with budrot I already cut off. I cut this 3rd one also and treated the cutwound with vinegar. I will check regurlarly and probably will harvest too early in these days to prevent the loss of my whole harvest. I am currently drying the healthy parts of the buds I cut off.
