Day 36, 22nd of October 2020: Hi there! All cool she is going crazy.... After the 2 videos the first pictures before topping. I have topped her 6x.... 6 branches and the rest pictures shows her after... pretty nice little lady thirsty and growing rapidly. I tried to do more LST also to spread the branches. Everything ontomues the same way fertilization and all the things. Happy Growing.

Week 3 update, so far so good. Observed both plants have shot up in height exponentially roughly 4 to 6 inches between both of them. The larger one has essentially taken 3/4 of the tent surface area and is growing rapidly with tons of bud sights appearing. the smaller one is showing good growth as well but has essentially been outcompeted overall. both are growing tons of hair and there smell characteristics are pretty different overall. I'm sure they'll only get more pungent. the one on the left has more of a catpissy lemon thing going on and the big one is like pine, sweet, limes. Pictures will show smaller one appears more green. I've noticed yellowing on the lower foliage of the one plant around mid week and after speaking with a fellow companion I've decided to stop dropping ph to 5.8 and really just focus at 6.0. I've also started using sturdy stalk after considering the benefits and raised the light around 4 inches. No complaints so far

Day 22 - Rolling into week 4 looking mean and green! 💪 I need to make a decision on what kind of training I want to dish out to this lady. She's growing a bit faster than her tent mates. Day 23 - Always experimenting - today I begin my first mainline! I've already built the foundation by allowing the plant to grow to 6 nodes, as recommended by the tutorial I followed by the brilliant Miss Nebula Haze @growweedeasy. My next step is documented here in a video, as I take my lush, happy, healthy plant, and give her the kind of haircut that makes you want to storm out of the salon without leaving a tip. 😂 I even managed to get in my signature branch snap early in the game - being held together now with duct tape. 🤦‍♀️ In all seriousness though, I'm thrilled to be trying this out, despite the agony of cutting down my plant to nothing but a stump and antennae. I've seen some great growers create some serious masterpieces using this method, and damn it my curiosity is taking control! Here's to learning something new! Day 27 - Came home from vacation to find that my plant had hulked through the duct tape that held her snapped branch together... I guess she's doing well. ☺️ Over the course of the past few days her branches have gotten notably thicker! 💪 Day 28 - Now that each new main stem has grown out, I removed all the growth tips from below the 3rd node on each side. I left the fan leaves in tact to give plant access to extra energy as she pushes through this intense training. I softened the branches with my fingers, very slowly, to tie down my new main stems horizontally across the net basket. I took a sterilized x-acto knife to then top each of my two main stems at the 3rd node on each side, leaving me with a beautifully symmetrical base to my masterpiece.

In contrast, TKO has been staying pretty squat, which is great because I currently can’t reach the back of the canopy. --- Oops. Forgot about the lacto-serum. Going to need to start a new batch soon. --- Anyways, both the Heady OG and TKO were transplanted into solo cups. At the time, Heady OG was looking stressed so took extra cuttings. Glad that she recovered! --- Upgraded the scrog frame by adding a second layer of netting 14 inches above the first one. Was quite surprised that both Heady OG and TKO managed to fill in the entire space. Heady actually reached the grow light twice and had to be super-cropped. --- The rest of the garden work has been in the veg tent. --- Reset the veg tent and took mother clone cuttings. --- Transplanted both Heady OG and TKO into the veg pots. Growth has been raging and have already topped both girls once. --- As for the near future, --- Continuing to pheno hunt for keeper phenos for the mother tent and for my first breeding project. --- Also been researching about tissue culture and think I’m almost ready to give it a try! Happy birthday to Enigma! Welcome to my first ever contest entry diary. Exciting! Day 7: Welcome to the end of week 1 for Enigma! Not spectacular but doing ok.

Light defoliation and using LST clips to produce a few more clone sites before flipping these girls into flower. They are both ready, with the hella jelly showing calyxes and the jelly donutz showing sex. The Donutz Triploid has so much stretch and too much internodal spacing to do much more cloning. Hoping to clone one more off her before the flip. Added pics of the triploid!

9' semaine de floraison, officiellement en rinçage depuis le début de semaine. La sénescence à bien commencé, A1 devrait être récolté en 2 fois et je commencerai par elle. La semaine a venir tous va rester telle qu'elle. Par la suite je vais réduire et changer les spectre de mon système. Réglages culture : inchangé autant en lumière que environnementale . Ich hoffe das sie langsam aufhört zu wachsen denn ich habe nun echt Probleme mit der Höhe in dem Zelt. Bis heute verlief dieser Grow ohne Schwierigkeiten. Die Blüte setzte sehr schnell ein und es haben sich sehr viele Buds gebildet, ebenso ist die Anzahl der Seitentriebe nicht zu verachten. Das ist eine sehr gute Sorte! Ich werde heute die Erde durchspülen um Salze aus den Topf zu bekommen und anschließend wieder Düngen.

During Week 3, Black Domina is still developing at a slower pace than expected and remains quite small for this stage. However, the plant looks healthy and stable, with no visible signs of nutrient burn, deficiencies, or pest issues. Growth appears compact, which suggests that the plant is currently focusing more on root development rather than above-ground growth. This can happen with indica-dominant genetics like Black Domina, especially in the early stages. Leaf color is consistent and healthy, indicating that the current feeding level is appropriate. A mild nutrient mix based on Hy-Pro Coco A & B is being used, keeping EC low to avoid stressing the young plant. The medium is kept evenly moist, and watering is done carefully to prevent overwatering, which could further slow growth at this stage. While overall size is still small, the plant shows signs of gradual progress and stability. With a stronger root system establishing now, more visible vegetative growth is expected in the coming week.

The SCROG net was installed on the last day of Week 6, I included a couple pics from that night, to compare with how the plant looked the next day, which was the first day of Week 7. My nerve damaged fingers caused me to be a little rougher with her while the net was going on than I like, but as you can see, she bounced back very quickly and was reaching for the light less than 24 hours after being mangled lol. I will continue to systematically defoliate the upper canopy every night or two for the next several weeks, and will completely strip most everything below the net. Every night or two I'll tuck any branches that need tucking, and will remove any fan leaves covering bud sites. She spread out pretty well in the net, and truth be known i probably could have gotten away with a 6 week veg after, plants are a decent size in the net with the stretch left to go. Flip happens at the end of Week 7 The manganese issue seems to be getting much better by the end of the week. Will keep my pH levels at 5.8 for the remainder of this grow, and any subsequent grows. I also devised a fan mount to save on space in the net. Instead of standing the fan, i simply cut a piece of 1x3 to length, drilled 2 holes in each end, large enough for zip ties to pass through. then I simply zip tied it to the tent poles, took the legs off the fan, and screwed the base to the board. I placed a piece of foam on top, as the screws were a shade long and I was afraid the small protruding tip would eventually puncture the tent. Works much better than expected. No movement in the mount at all.
