420FASTBUDS FBT2106 WEEK 7 This beautiful lady is maturing nicely with some amazing purple flowers. It's starting to give off a sweet smell so one could only imagine as she gets futher into flower. The other unfortunately isn't going to make it. I've continued to let it grow and see if maybe it would snap out of the funk it was looking like. But it still has not and seems to be not getting worse. Every now and then you end up with some funky mutations. All in all Happy Growing

*********Week 4 Flower - October 10 to 16, 2020, Days 22 to 28********* They are doing awesome!!! Nice progress for week 4. The tent is getting stuffy and full. Flower has been very strong for growth. Cream 47 girls are getting thicker and praying hard everyday. The leaves are big and pointing up everyday. Further leaf strip this week to allow more light below. Nutrients are following the same for the most part this week. Big Bud doing its job and helping to swell the colas. Silica still added to keep strengthening her stems. Overall, stay the course this week and keep them happy. Getting stuffy and looking forward to a bigger tent arriving soonšŸ˜€ Little more detail........ Oct 11/20, Day 23 - 4L - Rezin, Terpinator @ 2ml, Big Bud, B52 @ 1.5ml, CalMag, Sensi Bloom, Bud Candy @ 1ml - good amount of runoff from the pots. - water only next feed.....reminderšŸ˜€ - had some higher heat levels yesterday at 86 degrees. The leaf strip is helping and down to 82 now. Oct 12/20, Day 24 - Light watering again today. - 3L with Enzymes @ 1ml = 25ppm and 5.6pH - Leaves are darkening up.....little concerning. - letting them do their thing. Oct 13/20, Day 25 - 3L - Rezin, B52 @ 2ml, CalMag @ 1ml = 400ppm and 6.1pH. (missed pH was 6.4…...added B52 to lower) - took a couple of lower branches from C47 girls. Oct 14/20, Day 26 - 3L - Microbial Mass @ 1.5ml, Piranha @ 1ml = 80ppm and 5.9pH (was shooting for 6.0) - C471 had runoff pretty quickly. - Microbes to help the roots as we get closer to the end. - sticky girls removing a couple of leaves today. So that wraps up the week. They look good but I am not seeing huge changes from the start of the week? Looking good though......keep getting frosty girlsšŸ‘

This week has been pretty smooth sailing. Since all 4 of the testers are being watered at the same time splitting a gal of water ph to 6.1 with products listed. Started some LST on them this week and seems like all the babies are doing well. Tester 01/#1 by far grown the most at this point but time will only tell how they will all turn out. Enjoying this grow quite alot and am super excited to see how it goes.

Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow printšŸ‘. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give themšŸ‘Œ. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings herešŸ‘. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problemšŸ¤ž. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was šŸ”„. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...šŸ˜‰. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a gošŸ‘. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydrošŸ‘Š. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or portšŸ‘. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobingšŸ‘. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an ā€œentry-levelā€ fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixturešŸ‘. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. I actually harvested Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. First harvest was tallest buds only, they were probably 30% amber. Second harvest was the rest of the upper canopy three days later. Third harvest was the lowest buds.

8/23/2025- Emptied and refilled resevoir with the above nutes. Nuggets are smelling stinky now and looking good but I have to be transparent in identifying mistakes, not reporting them only fucks myself in future grows. I have snapped several plants stalks and folded them under my lights as they just grew above the lights to the ceiling. I hated doing this but I simply ran out of room and didnt do any topping or training. That aside, I see lots of fat colas and stinky nuggets, I just blew the sativas a bit by letting them get too damn tall.

Okay so I'm trying something new, since I've gone away from a switch to water for the last week flush I harvested the tops and best smalls and packed the cannatrol full. I'm giving the under growth a bit more time to rippen before I harvest that for the the freezer. If this turns out to be a bad idea I'll not do it again in the future. The last long video is what's left in the tent right now. Let me know if any of you have experience doing this. Updated with a bunch of pictured of dried and cured. Ended up with 186g of beautiful flower. 72g of untrimmed smalls I'll make into RSO, I have a lot of back and nerve pain and RSO hands down the only thing that brings me actual relive, I'm late to the party on this one but I set a side part of the grow for it now. I let the under canopy and shorter tops go another 10 days feed at half strength and I'm glad I did, it ripened up nicely and definitely got a lot of color. I forgot to get pictures of that harvest but I will when I pull it from the freezer to wash. My test jar of this washed at 4+% (the last picture). Last update will be results of that wash. Last update on this one, I added a couple hash/rosin pics at the end. She washed from plant to rosin at 4.03% the terps are musky skunk, sweet pastries, and fresh Linen. I'd definitely grow this one again.

I added a dehumidifier towards the end of this week to reduce the RH, but the thing i didn't realise was there were some red and yellow led's on the dehumidifier, one displaying RH and another for the power. I didn't cover up either through the dark periods and i just hope this past few days with them on doesn't affect my final yield 😣 Looking at the trichomes am i correct to start flushing now? let me know what y'all think!!

Oct 12: super warm still so the season is still going. In previous years we’ve had a -10 C sort of hard frost by now. Anyway, Bruce here is taking advantage of the warm weather. Sunlight is weak so not producing as many trichomes as she could under stronger light, but she is still putting on weight and the buds are decently firm. Most fan leaves turned purple at which point they’re no good for photosynthesis so I figured it’s better to remove them here in the home stretch. Might harvest in a few days, or might not… Oct 13: first round of 940 g wet buds, mostly as fresh frozen, with 80 g of that hanging. Buds are less dense than the Gorilla Cookies so despite Bruce being the bigger plant, it looks like the final yields will be similar. Left biggest cola on plant to see how much further it can ripen. Oct 14: watered with 26 C water with some potassium sulphate. My TDS meter has been broken all season so was estimating. Oct 15: nice weather continues. Oct 16: +4.2 C temperature anomaly over last 30 days, and this is ā€œextremely hotā€. Yay. Oct 18: sun is so low now that I lose direct sun by late afternoon. Weather turns soon and there are just four more days to go. Bruce will be harvested this weekend.
