Week 2: True Leaves & Strong Starts! 🌱 Hey everyone, welcome to Week 2 of the Devil Cookies One project! The seedling stage is officially behind us, and she is settling into the BioBizz Coco-Mix beautifully. As you can see in the pictures, the first sets of true leaves have fully formed and are looking incredibly healthy. The color is a vibrant, rich green, and the leaf texture is spot-on no signs of light stress, curling, or nutrient issues so far. Growth & Structure: She's building up some nice symmetry! The main stem has a slight reddish/purple tint, which is pretty common for this stage and these genetics. She stretched just a little bit, so I’ve gently placed a garden wire next to the stem to provide some early support and keep her perfectly upright while she builds stem strength under the 100W Agyrochy LED. (Also, loving the Dutch Passion / Super Sativa Seed Club genetics so far!). Environment & Watering: Everything is humming along nicely with the tent automation. Because she's still small and its only Week 2, I'm keeping watering light. I'm just giving her pH-adjusted water in a circle around the base of the stem to encourage the taproot to stretch out and search for moisture in the coco. Keeping it moist, but definitely not drenched. Super hyped to see her vegetative growth explode over the next couple of weeks. Week 8 Flower My favourite part; Flush flush flusshhhhh 🚽🌊💦 This is the time where you will see the most swelling and ripening of the buds, and also it's winter colours in its leaves and possibly even flowers (strain dependent) as the plant cannibalizes itself of all of its stored nutrients. Many strains will fade into a bright yellow, but a lot of strains can turn to many stunning colours such as purple, orange, red or even black! Purpling can also occur on your flowers throughout flush, which only adds to it's bag appeal! I believe it's extremely important to include a flush period at the end of each cycle. I don't necessarily mean you have to flush copious amounts of water through them like I do, but the end goal is to have a cannibalised plant before harvesting, regardless of your system, methods or medium. Having a proper flush is what gives you the clean burning, smooth smoke in the end. If many nutrients are left in the flowers, it can create a hard black ash that can spark as you toke 💥😷 and would be quite toxic for you to smoke. I start by pouring just enough water through the pot to get a decent run off in the catch tray below. I then take a note of the ppm/EC and pH of that run off to see how she's doing, and then adjust the pH of the rest of the water to be flushed if required. This girl's run off was a little high, at approx 6.2-6.5pH so I adjusted the rest of the flush water to around 5.5-5.6pH. This should bring it back down a bit more, although it doesn't really matter so much later in flush as she's only feeding on herself anyway, not what is in her pot. Once adjusted, I pour around 30ltr through her pot to reduce the salt contents in the coco. I then take another reading of her last bit of run off in the catch tray and make a note. I find that flushing a large amount of water through the coco speeds up the process because it has taken away many more nutrients from the coco than with not doing so. This gives the plant no choice but to instantly start to cannabilize on the only nutrients available; it's own. Once they're fading fast I'll simply feed them enough for a decent run off as I know there's nothing left in the coco. The amount of buds on this girl is absolutely insane! She's a monster! She's swelling up but still getting taller, with her tallest cola almost touching the reflector now. I'm definitely glad I supported her! I'm going for a 3+ week flush as I can't take her any further with plants in veg waiting for spaces, so hopefully she'll ripen up! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🦊

420Fastbuds FBT2305 Week 7 What up everyone. Week 7 update for these two powerhouses. They are growing absolutely ideal. Nothing special done. Just keeping the same feeding schedule of nutes every 3rd time with water and calmag on the other times. All in all Happy Growing

I flipped the girls over to flower last Wednesday and gave them a good defoliation and trained a few more of the branches. My last autoflower carmalicious is closing in on the finish and she's getting frosty and by far the most dense buds I've felt so far. I'm using 2tbl of 444 and 2 tbl of 284 with a tbl of basalt with my water as feed. I'll feed them everytime once we start to have fuzz balls but I think I'll be feeding every other time for right now.

Today was the last day of 18/6 hours light schedule!! I just changed the timer to 12/12 I increased the Bilberry lamp from 60 to 70% Power. During this week I really had to increase the amount of both water and nutrients, Just like the breeder said, she starts to eat a LOT already in the vegetative stage so I fed her a lot and even thought I did I noticed small signs of deficiencies on the lower leaves, Mid week I re potted Her to a 25L container and cut out some of the fan leaves just as the breeder recommended. The reason I follow the recommendations is I have grow Sherbinskis line before and the end effect is so much better. Also starting to keep a big temp difference between night and day. As you can see She is growing very fast.

I will be focusing this diary on the smoothie strain but you’ll be seeing some other plants in the tent that are not the same strain. I only have room in this tent so bare with me. There are 2 Smoothie, 1 CNC, and 1 Stardawg (dog). The smoothie are the two bigger ones in the back of the tent. Now, the Smoothie from FastBuds is just killin it right now. Since I popped the beans they have done nothing but show signs of greatness. I don’t think this one is gonna slow down much either. I’m going to push these plants harder than my last harvest. I had a really really amazing harvest last time. I was even able to pull sap out of all 4 plants. 2 Zkittles and 2 LSD-25. This was all done by feeding at the right times and keeping a “moist” soil. Also I want add that I ran pretty much the entire line of Nectar for the Gods at a little less then the recommended ratios. This time I plan on going a tiny bit over the recommended ratios just to see what these plants will do. Trust me, if the plants have a bad response I will go back to the recommended ratios. The reason I want to do this is because I really think these auto strains can handle a lot more than a regular flowering cycle plant would. They can handle more stress, that’s for sure. When do you think I should add a compost tea into my regimen? Soon or wait till the plant is a little larger?

Welcome to my Purple Og Punch DWC diary: Drop a like if you want me to visit your diaries. Either way, thank you for viewing this. Keep up the growing and good luck to all in the Ganja Farmer contest regardless of where you place remember the real prize is the bud you'll get from her. 30/4/22Started both DWC fems off like this. As it's the easiest way atm as I'll have to set the black 1 7L pots on a higher base as the DWC buckets are 33cm off the ground while the 1.7L are 12cm off the ground. Doing it like this will be fine for the 1st wk as the roots don't even reach the end of the net pot until around week 2. I have it sitting in 1mlx3 solution nutes I used are up above all from Terra Power. I haven't decided yet which bucket will be sterile but as there is no root rot to worry about I'm going to be running her on a full compliment of enzymes and everything bactria I can throw at her for the 1st 2 weeks with root stims, maybe I'll carry it on, (the root stims/enzymes/bactria). Just a little tip. Your grow light does not need to be on till she's up showing face. When you put your seeds in to germinate be sure if you have to have your light on try cover the seed that needs to go 3/4 of a CM down. That's means the top of the head of the seed needs to be 3/4cm down. This will help the seed become strong and grow enough tap root as if she's to close to the surface it'll start off poor. As for what I'm going to do because it's DWC it really would be best left alone and lollipop her and let her grow into a monster. As she leans on the larger side I think she'll be best left to bloom with LST, maybe some supercropping. We shall see. I'm thinking as this is a new strain/breeder this will be 1 of few DWC hydroponics. Looking forward to seeing how purple I can get her, hope she's a real punch, pun intended. Don't think I'll have the cold temps to bring out the terps and a nice fade earlier on. Will start her on a very light diet as soon as she shows leafs. I'm in between on giving her a tried and tested brand of nutes. I think I'll run this off on a mix of try pack with some bud enhancers either from Terra Power or Adv Nutrients. Enzymes are yet to be decided. Decided. Going to run this 1 also as a pure enzyme run. I'll be mixing my own guide of enzymes and base nutrients. I'll be using set nutrients but not following there recommended guide lines. As TP says to hokd off on 3 key nutrients that DWC would highly benefit from and be ran in safty as no roots are in the water. Will be running her on FloraDuo grow/bloom renamed Dual Part. Grow/bloom from Terra Aquita aka GEH. And on a full compliment of of terra powers best. 3/5/22 VD1 Have started her on nutrients. I know she hasn't throw her clothes off yet but she'll handle it. EC was set at .5. PH 5.9. RH71% 21C IN dark. Max 24-25 in day with lights on. I run the light throughout the whole night only goes off in the day when room temp is more stable. When they get into pre-mid flower I'll be setting it so they go into the rest in the night when it coldest and will hopefully be able to get the purple to show in this new strain. If not I have a few things in mind to try. Last resort will be buying a chiller for my 70x70, but maybe not until I improve my skills with the tools I have on hand in going to try max out my skills and push my plants till I need extra gear like Co2 system and chillers will be added to my new pro 12 RDWC oxy pot system when I set it up for the winter, (months away) when temps are colder I'll run a full simpler 12 pot linked system with full enzymes. 4/5/22 Great growth from Yday. Very slow to come out of the ground. Actually both strains autos and fems have been lagging behind both other breeders. 100% success so far on germination. Another POGP seed is bound for 100% coco. 6/5/22 So, it's begun. I've created a negative pressure environment, 1st time, let's see if it makes an impact. On wk 3 onwards I'll be running the intake extraction for 5mins every 30mins and I'll have 2 co2 bags up. If the RH becomes a problem or temp I'll put the extraction/intake back on 100% of the time. The extraction fan/intake is set at a ratio of 2 to 1. (100% extraction 50% intake) making a negative pressure environment, best way to show you have done this, the walls in your tent should bow in lightly. Same Day. Okay, so this my last update. Going to run fans the same right up until flower and then I'll be sealing up my tent and adding 2 co2 bags. And will be adding a dehuimifier and setting at 45% And it checks every 30mins and if it's gone up it'll turn back on and bring down to 45 or set RH, so no co2 will escape. The temp will be bordering 30-33c and then when they go into their rest window they'll be transferred to to a negative pressure environment with low temps and 45-50%RH. I'll only be able to do this for the 3 weeks of pre flower. And maybe some more, it depends how hard the dehuimifier will be working, but i want dense buds and only way to improve that is by introducing Co2 and then a negative pressure cold environment for terps. Then I'll be putting them back into full negative pressure environment and the Co2 will be useless, again all depends how it's gonna affect my bottom line. That and I only have 2 intake fans. I'll be going into detail about my Co2 adventures the week before I'll be prepping them to be able to withstand high temps, so I'll gradually bring up the temps the last wk of veg 28c max and that way when I push it to 30-32c in pre flower she won't stress as much Thanks for reading this week, there'll be no more updates just pics for the rest of the week. Then PPM will be adjusted. 9/5/22 So, AFTER going back and forward these past few days and scratching my head as to why my DWC grows are going soooo slow when compared to the soil grows. Then it dawned on me. There only getting a bit of water every time I pour it on the rockwool and trickles down onto the roots beyond the rockwool, the water was meant to be up past the base of the net pot for the 1st 2 weeks until the roots grow down and can drink at their own needs. I wasn't doing that. So last night it clicked. Silly I know. So I brought the water up in the bowl as far as I could and I'm hoping it's high enough that the roots can start to drink from the bowl. gottagrowsometime

At this stage, the super soil’s NPK balance (nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium) is already strong enough to sustain healthy growth and flower formation. Adding the All-in-One Liquid or Top Booster would risk redundancy, too much nutrient overlap can actually slow the plant down, cause salt build-up, or push her into unnecessary stress. Bienvenidos cultivadores a la décima semana de floración de esta gran cepa con dominancia sativa. La planta está alcanzando su gloria... grandes y densas colas dominan toda la escena; intensos y complejos aromas endulzados dominan todo el ambiente!! 👨‍🌾💦💡🌾 Todavía hay crecimiento en los brotes florales, los pistilos blancos lo delatan, esta semana la planta ha seguido centrada en la formación de flores, absorbiendo lenta pero constantemente los nutrientes de las hojas, antes de que estas caigan al suelo agotadas, ahora, para la planta, lo importante son sus flores, por está razón prescinde de sus hojas más antiguas. Aunque ha cumplido el tiempo de floración (9 semanas), información del banco de semillas, la planta mantiene mucha energía y capacidad de fotosíntesis, para al menos continuar floreando, un par de semanas más antes del corte!! 🤓🤙🤷‍♂️ ACTIVIDAD SEMANAL 💦💡👨‍🌾 Esta semana ha disminuido el consumo de agua de riego, 2396ml, un 24% menos que la semana anterior, debido a bajada de temperaturas y aumento de la humedad relativa, pero además, observo mayor consumo de agua conforme la mezclas tienen menor concentración de nutrientes, creo que los próximos riegos voy a hacerlos exclusivamente con agua, melaza y Microorganismos de Montaña Activados para capturar los nutrientes del sustrato retenidos por varios componentes del sustrato (Vermiculita, Zeolita y Biochar) y facilitar el trabajo de las raíces, creo que la planta por ahora no va a necesitar más. - Día 121. Riego con agua de montaña, melaza, Microorganismos de Montaña Activados (MMA Basic) al 5% y Ormus al 0,5%. Potencio de este modo la inoculación de Microorganismos al sustrato, para que mineralicen la materia orgánica convirtiéndola en humus y además quelaten los minerales del sustrato a la mayor velocidad posible, para ponerlos a disposición de la planta cuando esta lo solicite. Según datos, un centímetro cúbico de sustrato puede llegar a contener hasta 200 millones de microorganismos. - Día 124. Mezcla de riego nutritivo especializado para floración con agua de montaña con Hidrolizado potásico (Humato) de leonardita (Húmicos, fúlvicos, K) al 1%, Biol de Guanos con Microorganismos Eficientes -EM- (MMA, BAL, Ca, Mg, Cu, P... micronutrientes) al 3% y melaza.
