I have a little issue with some clawing going on here. But only on these 3 plants. These are the ones closest to the circulation fan which was right on them so I pointed it upwards a bit last week to not hit them so hard. Granted it’s not been a problem before. They are in coco and the run pretty dry every other day and they get a reasonable 800ppm water of nutrients from floraflex with cal mag and some micros from ghe. I can’t imagine it’s a nitrogen toxicity in the second week of flower especially with these nutes. Now only on the middle one I also have a large fan leaf as the photos show starting to yellow. What do you think??

Well I finally got the new pot pro system up and running with a little spare time today. The plants are of to a great start although I can already see there is going to be a learning curve on the watering and the need for a second bubbler manifold and pump. Merry Christmas!🎁🎄 🎅

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. With my past experience of wet buds drying out to about half of bud weight, I'm hoping that they both come in JUST under an Oz a piece. Going to update with more pictures, going to take a couple days to dry and get a good weight and hopefully get somewhere close to the 64 grams of the ONLY sized Boveda packs I have right now 😇 -- UPDATE - Dec 20 2020 - Cure Day 😵😭 i once again got my hopes up by pulling the classic male "over-exaggerating" and all the wet weight came from the main stems. After 3 days or so of drying both plants together came in just under an ounce. The smell is great and I have no doubt it's quality bud but I need to up my density game somehow for sure. New nutrients or better set up, still very low-end with all my equipment as I've just slowly been finding affordable pieces to add as I go. Maybe more light? Feel free to hit me up below with ideas short of switching to a Hydro set up 😹 I can hardly afford my bags of soil so I definitely couldnt keep up with the financial costs of a Hydro set up yet 😓 Have had a few bowls of the dried/uncured bud and it's very nice, clean, and crazy good for being uncured at this point. Yet another beautiful creation from Humboldt Seed Company. Huge trichome heads, amazing, complex aroma. Oh and did I mention magnificent leaf and bud colouration? They are purple AF 💪 I love them sooo much 😍😍😍

It was a good week A little nitrogen of chicken manure gives high growth to the plant, it should be aerated with phosphorus, potassium, calcium and micro-maghrium. I spray Gibberellic acid in the month of June in the middle of the first month and at the end of the month as night mist when the weather is cool. Good luck to all of you. Loved it, spent a few hours last night taking her down and hanging her branches up on a hanger. The smell is reminding me of raspberry puree which is delicious lol. Definitely would recommend this strain to everyone.

🌸🍏✨🍭🌸🍏✨🍭🌸🍏✨🍭🌸 Harvest – Apple Fritter (Kannabia) 🌸🍏✨🍭🌸🍏✨🍭🌸🍏✨🍭🌸 Chopped on 05.09.25 (FW9) after a clean 9-week flower. Didn’t weigh every single gram, but what I trimmed wet came out to 939 g+, and there’s still some left unweighed. Dry yield will land somewhere in that ~quarter-kilo zone once everything’s cured. She finished with 14–16 solid mains, stacked up dense and resinous. Scissors got glued quick, buds are heavy, sticky, and already giving off that sweet fruity/pastry smell Kannabia promised. Had a couple bumps (bit of bleaching during stretch, thrips halfway through), but she bounced back fine. Easy to train, forgiving when stressed, and filled the tent nicely. Super happy with this one — pressing part into rosin and slow-curing the rest for the jars. 🍏🍪🔥 Ps rest of grow info in week 20

Day 36 (Bettis). Just starting to flower. Doing some minor defoliation and supercropping. Very satisfied with her progress. Day 41. Continuing with minor defoliation and supercropping.

So, the big day finally came!💚 I harvested the plant and got her cut and hung up to dry. But before that, she spent a solid 72 hours in complete darkness to finish off. (A little boost before the chop)🌿 Everything went as planned and is looking pretty good so far. Nothing out of the ordinary, just smooth sailing through the final stage. Now it’s all about patience while it dries properly. Can’t wait to check out the final results in a couple of weeks! 🌱
