Hey Friends, end of week 13 from seed Buds are getting thicker Smell is getting stronger Bud structure is looking amazing, so far its been an amazing experience seeing this plant grow. I am watering every 3-4 days 1 full gallon of water mixed with nutrients. Leaves are green, looking healthy Trichomes are 98% cloudy 2% amber This week I had a tough time trying to maintain a steady humidity level, its been raining outside lately so humidity level goes up. QUESTIONS When should I begin flushing?

I look forward to trying this strain. She’s a great yielder and looks beautiful. She smells great (fruity and grapey) and is absolutely covered with trichomes. I couldn’t ask for more!

Today is day 82, should be harvested by now but due to user error the girls are still going. I did start the flush a few days ago so I am anticipating shutting the lights off on them in the next few days.

i will invest in a proper scope for the phone to take pictures of trichomes. This week they received their last dose of indo nutrients.

Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. I ended up with 2.5 oz of nice bud and about 8 grams of some very tasty cookes hash rosin. Great plant! I cloned her and am running her clones out side fo the fast flower. I will be washing it all it made some great rosin!!!!

Hey now, hope everyone is staying safe, good week for the Red Hot Cookies, she is still looking a little deformed with her leaves, but she is green and healthy. The Medic Grow is still running at 30% in the V1 or vegetative stage which is the mostly blue spectrum. I am watering them every other day or so with a small syringe around the edge of the solo cups. I am hoping to transplant them i about 48 hours to 3.4 gallon airpots and hook them up to an automatic fertigation system that feeds every 6 hours or so. The strain is not the biggest yielder but its quite promissimg,the smell is top and the effects are a very mellow creative smoke,tastes like sweets,will grow it again ✌️✌️

Autopilot again this week! Watering once a day, same nutes. Don't smell anything through the carbon filter but when I open the tent, woooow. Stinks out the house! Growing hydro really helps them get bigger, faster... stack on some buds... more potent smell than last time in the soil. Man, I can't wait to try my 'dro!!! :P 2 weeks left, tops, before harvest. 1.5 weeks left until we hit the point I harvested the moms. Everything I've been reading says to flush for only a couple days before harvest when growing in perlite. Which is nice, because you can't always pinpoint when you're harvest will be ready 2 weeks out!!

9/8/2024 Plant B showing signs of female with hairs coming from the pre-flower formations. Looks to be stretching and starting to push into flower as well. Plant A is growing insanely well! Continuing to defoliate daily by removing larger fan leaves here and there to continue to open up the canopies on both plants. No complete water change yet since a few weeks ago. I have continued to add fresh nutrient water with an occasional pH-adjusted gallon of filtered water + cal mag. 9/10/2024 Both plants and stretching nicely and developing great canopies! Plant A is an absolute monster, plant B is small and compact but has really good node spacing already. I am expecting some nice flower development over the next few weeks! Topping off the reservoir with about 1 - 1.5 gallons per day of nutrient water at this point. Continuing to prune a good handful of leaves and smaller growth from the plants to open up the canopy leading up to day 21 final trim. Trying to stay ahead of a huge stress event for the plants. 9/12/2024 Continuing to defoliate handful of leaves and prune smaller undergrowth. Cutting only 2-4 stems per day to avoid over stressing. 9/13/2024 Raised lights over plant A a few inches as it continues to stretch. Also trying to keep the lights low enough for plant B without burning the side branches of plant A. 9/14/2024 All week I have been adding nutrient water to the system. No water change or replacement. However today, I decided to introduce just pH-balanced water to drop the nitrogen concentration in the system as we transition into week 3 flower. Highest PPM throughout the week was around 900, average 800, low in the PM after pH water 700. Had a minor flow issue with a root plug in one of the drain lines. Blew them out and flow returned. Humidity in the tent has been slightly higher than ideal this week, although VPD has been around 1 - 1.4 with the lights on. Likely due to the volume of plant matter in the tent. Doing my best to keep up with defoliation and trimming. Day 21 flower will be much needed!
