D64/FD36 - Not much to really talk about this week. Things still ticking along. Sweet Cherry Pie not changing my mind yet that its a 10 week strain (Even though everything points to it "supposed" to be an 8 week one!!!). It put on a few more inches again last week (As can be seen in the time lapse!). Defs going forward, only 1 strain per res and I think "Cookies" based breeds will be it for me as they're so easy worked with. RAM Oscillating Fans...again, barely 10 days running and it has died!!! WTF! Hydro place will be willing to change again but its a joke, the batch is useless!!! Not the Hydro Shops fault though! They're bending over backwards as I do a good bit of business with them! :) Apart from that, dropped my EC by 0.2 this week (Pulled back on the base and bloom by 10-15%) just because they're drinking but not taking on food at any big rate - rather not poison the roots with a rising EC when they have a wee swallie to themselves!!! Changed the CalMag to Biobizz calmag as no nitrogen in it (it is a lot dirtier in a tank though which is the down side!!!). Apart from that, no real big changes. Happy Growing all!!! 💪

The brightest green in the tent, she is looking happy and wished me a happy Father’s day for the wonderful job I’ve been doing over the past two weeks 🤣. Very simple up to now with simply PH’d water at 6.1. I had read some research in regards of levelS of preferred PH throughout cannabis life cycle and only thing I remember was cannabis prefer acidic soils that we all know but in early stage of life PH water on the lower guidance of 5.8 is preferred as the opposite in late flower 6.3. For my personal experience I’ve been trying this now for the last two grows. Today is premix/transplant day. 3 gallon will be its final pot and should time permit I will do a quick vid tutorial of my mix using Gaia Green. Stay safe n Happy c’est la vie!

Week 9 .......... Flower Week.........June 6 to 12, 2020 ........ Days 57 to 63 from germination She bulked up more this week and buds are swelling. She has reacted well with Massive and has increased her nodal spacing. Now she needs to work on bulking up more and filling in that spacing😀👍 Switched to Advance Nutrients Overdrive for the PK booster this week.......didn’t realize how much i still have of this and Big Bud so I brought them back into the grow this run😁 Overdrive is a great product, just been trying out a different line last two runs. As you can tell I like to use the supplements😂😂 and it gets a little pricey with the Advanced line. They have some killer products though with Piranha, Tarantula, Voodoo, Sensyzime, Bud Factor X, Overdrive for example. A little more leaf strip at the end of the week to let more light into the middle of her. Focused on the leaves on the inside of her and left a number of the fan leaves on the perimeter of her to help with sugar production. Starting to see some possible nutrient issues forming as she is aging and some of her leaf tips are starting to curl down a bit. There will also be some wind stress on this girls main stem. Red hairs have started so we should be less than three weeks to go and guess at roughly 2 weeks to go. Will be feeding next week but that might be the end......see what the week brings. Hope she will run another three weeks allowing her to fatten up.....hairs are still large and lot are still very white......time will tell🤞👍 Environment has been hovering at 79 degrees and 61 percent humidity for most of the week. Yeast and sugar CO2 in use. Still feel there is going to be trade off battling the pH issues of the pots by feeding her 4.4 water and feed. I have to keep it that low to have a runoff of 6.6pH🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 Going to start letting the pH drift higher the next couple of days though and give a couple of waterings at 5.6 to ensure she is taking up enough phosphorus and potassium. Now to just ramble........this girl is freaking awesome!! She is the one that captures all my attention right now. Her frost levels are ridiculous for 9 weeks on an auto, in my experience🤩😃🤩 She is certainly at photo period levels compared to girls I have grown and with hopefully at least a couple of weeks still to go to improve.......DAMN!!! The Skywalker I have run from Mephisto were also crazy good for frost levels. Her buds are stacking up gorgeous and getting thicker. Still a lot of long thick white hairs so hope she takes her time and fattens up and not just starts drying and hardening up.......not yet anyway🤞 Her side branches are producing long thick colas and make you instantly smile thinking about possible yields😉🤞 She is one of the nicest plants I have ever grown! The resistance is crazy good as she battles though this high pH crap I have thrown her into. Believe it was an issue with too much Magnesium too early and the fabric from the pots. To battle that I have been hitting her and Killer Kush with heavy watering/feeding everyday at 4.4 ph!!!!!!. runoff from that is 6.7 a day later. As time passes after the feeding the pH is drifting up......heave feed to pull it back down🤪🤪🤪 She has been powering through this and growing very nice at 28” tall......perfect!!! So happy I have 5 more seeds of her. Awesome work Mephisto!!!!! Finally got the time to sit down to do some maintenance and training on this girl🙌 It was a wet and rainy Sunday on 7/25 so we pushed back our Farmers Market a day and I got to get soaked in the garden😅 Cleaned up the interior, removing discolored fan leaves that weren't getting enough light and small branches growing inward that wouldn't amount to much. Then I did some LST with 4' Bamboo stakes and PGarden EZ Soft Plant Ties. I staked 4 main branches to open up the interior for better light penetration and air circulation👍 When it was all said and done I brought the trim back down to the barn as a treat for my horse Kestrel, he loves snacking on trim leaves! I also switched the the Neptune's Harvest Rose and Flowering as we're approaching flowering time and also gave them some good old fashioned Crosby's Molasses to get those sugars going!

This girl kept me busy this week. I had to clean up the bottom of her as I have another plant that has a touch of powdery mildew so I have to be careful going forward. She’s free of it thus far though and I plan to keep it that way! She has been stretching out and starting to really kick into high gear flower wise this week. I tried a different feeding routine and I think she isn’t totally digging it as I have a little clawing going on so I’ll have to go will just plain water to get her balanced out again. I dug out the straw mulch I use that had a bunch of top dress amendments and replaced it with some fresh straw and no amendments. She’s been easy to stress in that sense. Not a hungry lady at all. All in all I am happy with the progress of this sweet seeds lady! Looking forward to another exciting week! 😎🍿

Solo cup challenge continues to press along. Not much change, plants are in veg, growing and healthy. Still a few weeks before the flowers start so I hope to get a bit of size going before it does. While at home i'm at 34~36º in the street things are worse :(. Also humidity fluctuate from 50~65º. At last I removed those ugly & dangerous cables from the branches and used a rubber covered one. For now i only need to fix her in 4 points, 1 per each main branch, as you can see, at about 13 cm of the main branch. Later i will fix her with another 2 points per branch, one in the border of the pot from inside, and the last one also in the pot's border but outside. This week i removed the first horizontal internode on each main branch, and also removed the branch that grows vertically down from the second internode leaving in place the one that grows totally up. At the end of the week i will fix the SCROG mesh, but it's not going to be permanent until later, or maybe not at all due to dark photography, as if i place the mesh i will not be able to move the plant (i need to think about it). For now, I just need it 3 or 4 days to test it as i never placed this 60x60 mesh before, and also i had to cut the central rods for the mesh. About Alice K. she's growing beauty and healthy, some week ago i found a little white spider that i killed, @time (week 7) I didn't noticed any insect signs more. Also remark that she's standing well those temperatures and some days of very low humidity some hours 35% inside the tent. And also the equitative distribution she's developing. Al final de la semana colocaré la malla de SCROG, pero no va a ser de manera permanente, por lo menos hasta más adelante. Voy a empezar a hacer fotografías de fondo oscuro, y el tener la red me va a imposibilitar la tarea ya que debo sacar la planta del armario para las sesiones (necesito pensar en ello). De momento la quiero montar 3 o 4 días para probarla ya que nunca la había montado antes y también tenía que cortar las barras horizontales para la malla. Sobre Alice K. está creciendo super bonita y sana, hace un par de semanas encontré y maté una arañita blanca (Requiescat In Pace), a día de hoy (semana 7) no he visto más signos de insectos. También debo remarcar lo equitativamente que está creciendo y lo bien que soporta las altas temperaturas y la escasa humedad, hay alguna vez que he mirado el higrómetro y estaba al 35% dentro del armario. Flowering day 57 Today it was poured with 1.2 l, only with Clean Fruits so that you can use up your remaining nutrients 👍. Flowering day 58 The humidifier was refilled and the tent cleaned. Flowering day 59 Today was only controlled. Flowering day 60 The humidifier was refilled and the tent cleaned. Flowering day 61 Today was poured with 1 liter, and the trichomes checked, of course the tent was also cleaned. Flowering day 62 Today was cleaned, the plant cobtrolized for trichomes, mold and health. everything looks great 👍. And fresh osmosis water was filled in tanks for next week. The way the trichomes look like, is harvested in about 10-14 days 👌👍. This girl is a dream plant. She is starting to stack up now. I have noticed some purple and blue hues starting around the buds so she is likely to have some nice colouring as flowering continues. I am a big fan of colourful buds!! Solid genetics by Humboldt!! Onward!! 😎🍿🍻🌱
