Seems I told a lie last week, I'm late one day and I've done videos again cos again 🤥 Its been a good week for bud production regardless of a hiccup this week which shows as cal/mag and nitrogen deficiencies throughout each plant🤒 My ph pen malfunctioned and I ended up feeding them all 4.5 and didn't notice till the leaves told me 🍂 The ph pen has been replaced, amendments made to buffer the root zone and fingers are crossed 💉🤞 Super stinky grow this, going to replace my carbon filter before starting a new one because I caught wiffs of them when I entered my home today. If the flavours match the smells in this tent I'm in for a treat come smoke time.👃⛽🍋🍇 Its that magic time in the tent now where each girls really showing their own characteristics, both the purple punches and the zkittlez are different phenos to their siblings so I'm excited to see what they finish up like🏁 So far mostly good 👍 Thanks for reading 📖 One Love💚 Fire Farmer🔥👨‍🌾

Week 8 Flower – Roller Coaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) The Final Act of a Beautiful Journey Here we are, Week 8 of flower, and the Roller Coaster Haze girls are at their absolute peak. Massive, elegant, and shining with frost — these plants are true works of living art. The colas are huge, dense, and heavy, coated in trichomes that glisten under the lights. The aroma is intense, that unmistakable hay-sweet haze scent filling the room the moment you approach them. It’s been an incredible journey from seed to this point — full of learning, adjustments, and evolution — and the girls are showing their gratitude with a breathtaking display. ⸻ Light Defoliation & Canopy Health This week, we performed a light defoliation, focusing mainly on yellowing and fading fan leaves. At this stage, the goal isn’t to push growth, but to maintain airflow and prevent moisture buildup, which can lead to bud rot or other late-stage issues. By selectively removing what the plant no longer needs, we’re allowing more light to penetrate the canopy and helping the buds finish strong and clean. The fading is beautiful — a sign that the plants are naturally consuming their reserves as they approach the end of their cycle. ⸻ Aroma, Density & Structure Each branch tells a story of energy and balance. The colas are dense and resin-packed, sticky to the touch, with pistils slowly darkening and curling inward. The aroma has deepened, becoming more earthy and hazy, with a sweet undertone that hints at the potency within. These are true haze beauties — towering, expressive, and powerful. Every part of the plant speaks of the care, patience, and intention behind this grow. ⸻ Feeding & Environment We have now completely stopped nutrient feeding. This week’s watering is plain, clean water only, measured at: • EC: 0.3 • pH: 6.8 – 7.2 The goal is to gently flush out any remaining salts and allow the plants to finish on what remains in the super soil. This natural fade encourages better flavor and cleaner results after harvest. Environmental conditions remain steady despite the high outdoor temperatures. With careful management through TrolMaster and Spider Farmer controls, we’re keeping: • Temperature: around 28°C • Humidity: 60–65% • VPD: approximately 1.3 Everything stays balanced and stable to allow the final ripening stage to unfold smoothly. ⸻ Light Adjustments – Simulating the End of the Season To mimic the natural end of the season, we’ve begun gradually lowering the white light intensity, while pushing the red, far-red, and UV spectrums to 100%. This spectrum shift signals to the plants that the cycle is ending, stimulating final ripening, color development, and resin production. The reds encourage energy transfer in the deeper parts of the canopy, while UV light helps enhance secondary metabolite production — the oils, terpenes, and resins that give Roller Coaster Haze her unique flavor and strength. ⸻ Reflections & Recap From seed to this stage, this run has been all about precision, patience, and experimentation. The Roller Coaster Haze responded beautifully to the Aptus + Plagron blend, the controlled environment, and the small adjustments we made each week. The natural fade is now in full display — leaves turning golden and soft while the buds continue to swell and frost over. The plants are enormous and full of life, and the garden is filled with that unmistakable late-flower perfume that makes this stage so magical. ⸻ What to Expect Next Expect: • Final ripening, with trichomes transitioning from cloudy to amber • Continued fading of the fan leaves • Aroma deepening even further, more earthy and hazy notes • Buds hardening and resin maturing for peak potency Not to Expect: • Any new vegetative growth • Heavy feeding — water only from now until harvest ⸻ Final Words Week 8 is the calm before the harvest. The girls are thriving, finishing strong, and showing every bit of love and work poured into them over the past two months. The Roller Coaster Haze truly lived up to her name — a thrilling, rewarding, and beautiful ride. We’re almost there. One or two more weeks, and it’ll be time to cut, dry, and celebrate what nature and care created together. Thank you all for following along on this journey. 🌿✨ Let’s grow together, – DD (DogDoctorOfficial) 💚 ⸻ 🌸 Quick Summary – Week 8 Flower • Stage: Week 8 of Flower • Plants: Roller Coaster Haze (Zamnesia Seeds) • Feeding: Plain water only • EC: 0.3 • pH: 6.8–7.2 • Environment: Temp 28°C / RH 60–65% / VPD 1.3 • Work done: Light defoliation (yellow/faded leaves removed) • Lighting: Whites reduced gradually / Reds, Far-Reds & UVs at 100% • Notes: Massive dense colas, strong haze aroma, full fade in progress • Outlook: Entering final ripening — harvest soon! 📲 Don’t forget to Subscribe and follow me on Instagram and YouTube @DogDoctorOfficial for exclusive content, real-time updates, and behind-the-scenes magic. She continues to develop nicely. Unfortunately I managed to break two more branches, from both she recovered instantly and the branches started to heal already. (Need to be a bit more careful going forwards). The quick healing I would either account to the genetics, but would also contribute it to the rizothonic from canna, as her root system is also a lot further than the plants I grew before. She already smells super strong, can bare keep the tent open for long.

I started germination of 2 Amnesiac Automatic beans on 01/01/2021. HAPPY NEWYEAR! I am germinating them using rockwool cubes and a humidity dome. I pre moistened my plugs with ph balanced water to 6.4 . Than enlarged the pre made holes using a wooden dowel. Than sowed my 2 beans into the holes. I then ripped a small piece of rockwool off each plug and mulched it up. Than lightly filled in the holes using the mulched rockwool. Than it was into the humidity dome to marinate, and complete the germination process. Will likely take roughly 4 days to get some sprouts. Starting my adventure with Spliff Seeds Amnesiac Automatic. After they emerge I will get the plugs planted into 5 gallon pots to rock and roll. Cant fucking wait! Some background information on my experience with Amnesiac auto. I grew 2 of these ladies in one run. This variety stayed in veg for 6 weeks before it made the transition to flower. Produced 2 super branchy plants resulting in a mighty full canopy. Obviously resulting in quite a large yeild. Buds were relatively dense but super chunky! Fat colas were in an abundance. Plants were great height roughly 3 feet, and Not super stretchy. Strain responded well to lst and had no stunting as a result of light bending and manipulation. Very easy going in the nutrient department. Had no trouble at all meeting their dietary needs. Buds were very resinous and unleashed quite a euphoria! I was VERY impressed with the first run. So let's see how the second run goes.

OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. WATER: ~ Condensed (Starting at 40ppm) ~ Disinfected prior to adding nutrients etc. (Using COOSPIDER UVC - 253nm & 187nm bulb) CLIMATE: ~ Ambient Air Temp = 29'C ~ 28'C LST ~ Leaf to air temp variance of between 1'C ~ Night Temp = 22/23'C ~ Day/Night temp differential 6-7'C ~ Under Canopy Temp: 26'C (Day) ~ 21'C (Night) ~ Relative Humidity = 50-60%RH (Avg. 55%RH) ~ VPD = 1.45kPa (Avg.) ~ Co2 ranges from 900ppm to 1500ppm (Avg. 1200ppm) AIR PRESSURE: ~ Ambient Air Pressure (outside tent) = Mean Avg. 1010 mbars (101 Kilopascals) ~ Actual Air Pressure (inside tent) = Mean Avg. 1005 mbars (100.5 Kilopascals) ~ Air Pressure Differential = up to 0.5 kPa range between inside & outside LIGHT: ~ UVB (High intensity @ 45cm) ~ 2 hours daily mid light cycle. ~ Warm White 3000K/White 5000k/Far Red (660nm) ~ At plant canopy = PPFD 900-1000umols/s/m2 ~ Lux 45,000-55,000 ~ Daily Light Integral 55-65 ~ Under canopy lighting ~ Blue (460nm)/ Red (630nm) NUTRIENTS: ~ Mostly Advanced Nutrients (For base nutrients and most additives, as only company I could find scientific data on) ~ Canna (For Calmag Agent and Cannazym) ~ Plant Success (Great White Mycorrhizae) ADDITIONAL GROW TECHNIQUES: INFECTION PREVENTION & CONTROL: Infection control practices i.e ~ PPE, Alcohol Hand wash ~ Gray room outside tent, ~ Carbon filter ~ HEPA filter ~ Plasma Ionizer ~ Inline UV-C germicidal bulb ~ Also using an additional higher powered COOSPIDER (UVC) 253nm & 187nm bulb, to disinfect the gray room outside of the tent once a week for 30 mins. ~ Ozone (o3) gas that is produced using the COOSPIDER, is then directed into the tent to further control any unwanted pathogens. ~ Ed Rosenthal (Zero Tolerance organic pesticide), sprayed once a week as preventative measure. On hand for heavier use (Once every 3 days before lights out for 15 days) in the case of an outbreak (No outbreaks yet, due to aforementioned preventative measures)
