Harvest time! Only this time there were some problems that made me take another approach. The thrips are still active so I thought it would not be very wise to lock them up together with the bud inside a paper bag. So I’ve decided to just cut the entire top part of the plant main stem and all, and hang them inside the top of the tent. But ofcourse not before I have given them a thorough shake. Then from the lower part of the plant where still some bigger buds, which I’ve also cut, trimmed and shaken clean, before they did ended up inside the bag, leaving just the lowest part of the plant with all of the small buds I’ve intended to use to germinate and create some seeds. At this point the remaining part of the plants are inside my small garden greenhouse, and I’ll keep you posted if it’s going to succeed. Normally I’d preferred to trim the bigger leaf from the wet branches, then dry inside my paper bag and finally trimming the dry buds for bringing up the final bag appeal. Only now I’d chose to only remove the fan leaf and hang drying. I turned the ventilation almost on the lowest setting during drying. As I said with the strain review, I’m happy with the results from plant A and C. Plant B started revegging, and thus ended up with a lower end weight. A shame because it had the biggest buds. The positive thing about dry trimming is that you don’t actually have to trim anything, it takes a bit more time, but you can literally push the leafs from the bud.

Good weather here. Almost total defoliation and stop watering on Sunday. Cropped on Tuesday night. I'm more than satisfied. A lot of stuff. Perfectly ripen. It's a sin to cut her, she's really a beauty. Top cola apart there are another 12 big bus and 2 dozen of minor fat branches. After 24h of drying and deep wet trim the weight is 1335 grams (2.94 lbs) of top rock solid buds as this plants don't produce popcorns. So it's legit to expect 600 grams of premium weed. See you in 2/3 week for the harvest report, drying will take more time than Royal Gorilla as buds are Biggerrr Smoking preview Folks, I just rolled a couple spliffs of a dried and cured sample bud for 11 days. Two of friends of mine couldn't tell if it was weed or hash, I'm not joking. Strong and fast high.

Flavour without proper cure, is deep earthy at first, transitioning to a fruity, sweet one, it is a pleasure to smoke, delicious sweet aftertaste.. Day 71 - Fresh tank...all new nutes. Started PK Warrior today so they'll be on that for the next 4 weeks as I start to drop the bloom nutes gradually. Noticed on my time lapse on the Saturday night (Their day), they had quite a heavy sag...as much as I've been very critical of EC/pH numbers and the likes, I missed out on light height and it was getting a bit close and starting to heat stress them a bit...raised it on the Sunday and the last 18secs of the time lapse shows them bounce back great. Have raised it even further today to get it approx 14"-15" from the tallest cola, 16"-17" average from the rest. Noticing as well a lot more bottom leaves dropping off...hoping this is from light deprivation...have some proper, shriveled up dry ones in there too but some still green just coming away with a slightest touch - its near lollipopping themselves so all I am doing is removing whats hanging loose and trying to leave as much on there to allow the plants to absorb what it can before it discards them. As the canopy looking so strong, and flowers do seem to be getting bigger from the time-lapse, I'm not going to worry (just yet).

Another good week here in the tent. Getting water daily. Defoliated as needed every other day. The girls are looking great and smelling great. Lots of frost coming off these girls. Started the UVB at 30 minutes and have moved up to an hour. The tests went right to two hours but I wanted to ramp it up. Will go up thirty minutes tomorrow and continue that every few days to ramp up usage.
