26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. This was my best experience yet with growing and am quite proud of myself! Training went almost perfect and the plants handled the resistance strengthened up and sprouted so many buds! All we’re dense and frosty by the end time! I dried in brown paper bags in 17.5-18.5c temps with a humidity of 40-50% and took 7 days to dry! I have them curing in 3L glass jars with 62% Boveda pack inside! I’ll be able to really taste the flavour then but it’s already strong and tastes great! Royal queen seeds are definitely worth a top place on seeds! Added a few photos after cure! The smell is like sweet pungent and flowery and the high is full body and u get itchy eyes and dry mouth!

Today PK 13/14 for the last time. Now waiting for ripeness and finish. Day 55.

Just finishing up the second week of budding here. The girls have grown a bit over the last few weeks and I've neglected to measure the heights and update them, the height in this diary is of the tallest of the 4. I'm really starting to see some bud development now, starting to really get excited about the results of this grow!

The ladies doin' great so far and Cookies Kush #1 is developin' so well. I guess I goin' to top the other ladies soon, too. Wedding Cake ain't gettin' that tall again which is pissin' me off a li'l bit. Never mind we will do the best out of it. So stay tuned guys 💚

8/16: day 50 since breaking soil - uv light is on 4 1/2 hours - CQ & CA furthest along. - N should be delivered tomorrow, yellowing on bottom leaves. - SK starting to take shape 8/17: Took CQ out, defoliated SK lowers, fed 1/3 gallon tea each Added 1/3 tsp/gallon of growers secret nitrogen 14-0-0 to the water supply.

4x4 Gorilla, HLG 550 V2 60% @ 32" 2 Jack Herer from seed, germinated 1-12-2018. Promix-HP Day 34. Flipping light cycle to 12/12. Had a little nutrient burn on both ladies and did a full flush with water @ PH 5.6. and two days later are looking much better. The GDP is still residing in the tent, just moved out of the way for photos. Next (light) feeding is scheduled for tomorrow evening.

Day 43 , 6 and a half weeks . She started to cloud up and has a few amber trichomes . Buds as starting to really full out now

End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often
