Blue Cheese F1 automatic Week 6 2/9-15 The Cheese gals are in full flower, the buds are puffing out and stacking. I even see some lower buds connecting to the upper buds and some pistils are turning brown. There is some smell when I open the tent. The F1 genetics are reflected in that these 2 plants are almost identical. I don’t see much difference in their growth so far using the different mediums. Soil and soil/coco blend. Maybe harvest will show a difference in yield from each one. Time will tell. On 2/13 I did major defoliation on my Cheese gals. I removed all large fan leaves and any leaves shading bud sites. Initially, I thought this would be my last defoliation, however I have heard that 1) they continue to grow new leaves until day 20 of flower and 2) there must be enough foliage on the plant to photosynthesize energy. Well, I hope I left enough leaves for energy to keep bulking up the buds. Stretching has slowed down. Both girls grew only an inch and now 17 inches. This is only the end of flower week 2. Controller is set to flower. I add 2 gallons of water to the T700 humidifier daily to keep the VPD in line. 2/9 & 11 4 gal fed 2 liter each nutrients added at ½ of recommended amount. Making 4 gallons since I have 2 pots of carrots and a Dill in the back. Day 29. Girls grow slow, but most important .... Could be i overwatered with 2.5 liters of water or i stonly watered them twice ;))) Girls didnt drop pot weight till day 31, on days 32 morning ill do new round of lst. Will feed them hard, will defoliate all bigger old leaves which are covering new grow, plants are strong enough to take pain now ;))) Its sad situation a bit, i got flue and with that corona madness my mood was very down and i didnt work with plants at all, anyway, they made to that stage where harm can be done and its time. Gorillas looks okeish even without work, really good strain at least for now. Cookies are very picky, its hardest to veg strain from all i ever tried, lets see, maybe food and heavy training will make them fit ;) Day 32. Girls are finaly light, so heavy training and huge feeding. I dont know what hapend, but they refused to drink for 8 days almost, one cookie has obvious sighns of overwatering and if to be honest all cookies are crap, gorillas grow amazing, especially self toped one, she made natural mainlining and covers space perfectly. Guess in next 2-3 days they will blast off, but i cant feed silica till more branches will grow up, cookies too small, lets wait and see... Day 33. Girls loved food, plenty new grow, all tops are facing sun again , they will bush up in next few days. Next watering - silica and cal mag and next after - fish mix. Day 34. Girls are drinking again, so i gave 1ml/l fishmix. Cookies show strange colours and on fresh grow you can see cal mag def. Next feed will give them extra, normaly TopMax should be enough... I dont like Cookies genetics so much, that i planted last 5th bean ;)) Want to check two things : 1. Are my lights strong to grow something not under direct light 2. Are those Cookies such crap, that i should never try any seeds from RQS. I planted 4 new girls, no work,no top - nothing will be done to them. Hope to see last Cookie bean growing beter than almost two years old Incredible Bulk x2 and last StrawberyCough bagseed bean, otherwise its sad quality for such big house. Cant find why all 4 Cookies grow so slow compaired to all 4 perfect Gorillas. Was using new worm castings, too ritch ?? maybe thats the answer in test grow i put pure BIOBIZZ AllMix soil, nothing extra. Had to top one Cookie, new grow was all damaged and didnt want to develop, will harm them even harder next time before silica and cal mag, which i thought not to use in this run ... Lets see .... In the end, I harvested 310g of dry plants, discarding all the popcorn. Not a bad result, even if I didn't reach my goal of 450g. I decided to leave a few leaves and let it re-vegetate. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Last week I got myself a humidifier. So right now my grow tent is 60/60/160 and features a Spider Farmer 2000, which is kinda oversized, but still works in there despite what other people told me - but who knows, maybe I’ll learn my lesson later on. There’s a small exhaust fan and a regular fan without oscillation + the humidifier. I also put in a young vegging chili plant I got from a coworker - it’ll be put outside eventually tho. 05/21: Starting week 5 and my plant is looking very bushy. She has gained some height in the past few days and I hope that’ll continue a bit. Can’t wait to see her flower. 05/22: She grew a bit since yesterday - especially sideways. Her newest leaves have yellow tips, which I suspect is due to me moving the light down to experiment - my mistake. I hope that’s what it is and that the next set of leaves won’t suffer. 05/23: Not much to say - she’s looking lush and nice to me! Since the beginning of this week she’s grown to 23cm height, so 5cms in a couple of days. 05/24: Found some down-clawing leaves today and some people suggest it can have something to do with air circulation. I only spotted two leaves doing this and I hope it’ll stay like that 😬 05/25: Haven’t had much time to look at my plant today, but my wife sent me a nice picture of her. She seems to be doing fine! 05/26: I think she’s started to flower? So that’s pretty cool. I also removed some of the lower branches, since I felt like she was too bushy for me. I like how she looks now. 05/27: I’m so happy with how she looks. She does have some burnt edges on her leaves - but she’s had that since she was born, so I’m starting to be less worried about that and just let her do her thing. I think defoliation was a good decision. She is also flowering now - it took me a little bit to realize... I thought the leaves were just looking super strange.

Finally getting them transplanted.

🌿Week 4: Defoliation & SCROG Setup Week 4 was all about structure and airflow. The canopy was getting bushy fast, with a ton of inner growth, so we went in for a solid defoliation session across the board. Lower fans, overlapping leaves, and shaded internodes were cleaned up to let light penetrate deeper into the canopy and reduce potential humidity traps. Right after that, we finally dropped the SCROG net, stretched out gently across the canopy to guide the branches horizontally and prep for flower stacking. Some of these phenos are already reaching for the sky, so the timing felt just right. Captured a full-time-lapse clip of the defoliation + netting process. It’s super satisfying watching the chaos turn into clean lines. Nature meets intention. Feed Bloom since 20/6 22/6 Defoliation 🌱 Plant Response: After defol, they bounced back fast. Tops are perky, leaves are praying, and stretch is continuing in a controlled way. The structure’s more open now — better airflow, better light distribution, better everything.

Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. 21.10.24 BT#50 Servus liebe Growmie's ✌️🙂 Der Ice Cream Cake von Barney's Farm geht es sehr gut. Auch sie wird immer Frostiger und ich schaue regelmäßig nach den Tricomen. Sie versprüht eine leichte Vanille Note was sehr angenehm rüber kommt. Ihre Buds werden immer Purpler was richtig fein aussieht. Heute gab es das letzte mal Nährstoffe nach BioBizz-Juju Royal Düngeschema. Danach wird nur noch mit Ph angeglichenen Wasser gegossen.
