My first grow....

Right before flowering I've decided to LOLLIPOP these ladies, so I stripped them under the trellis net : ) They are looking gorgeous and enjoying life so everything's looking good in the hood ! By the way, the veg lasted 7 weeks from seed, not 12 ! The timeline of this diary is a bit strange, better stick to the days from seed ; )

Now we've reached day 25. We are in the transition phase, pre-flowering if you want, when the seedlings reveal their sex by showing the white fluff or the boyish balls. Here and in all F1 Hybrids you can be SURE, SURE as death that you will never see any balls. If you have underestimated this aspect of the F1 Hybrid, go back and think about how many times you found the balls on the paint, full of pollen that fertilized your ladies. Do you like having young ladies impregnate you? Absolutely not for me and this is a very valid reason why you can choose the F1 Hybrid. Really guys the seeds suck and the genetics of the various breeders if they don't do a job like this it means that they are super hybrid poles with genetic traces scattered here and there. Inglourious bastards. Here we don't want to be Aryan but to cultivate healthy plants with safe results. NOTES: Keeping the pH between 5,8-6,0 and EC at around 1,4-1,6 depending on system. EC at 1,5 seems to be optimal and my measurements are staying pretty steady at that level. Humidity is lowered to around 50% if I can. The tops are now at around 45-60cm height from the soil. Continuing the last heavier defoliation/pruning process that I started yesterday at the end of 2nd flowering week. I saw no signs of mold or any other issues as I went through the plants. After this week I'm going to change the nutrient solutions on the tanks and fill them with fresh nutrients with minor changes: Dropping the amount of Grow from 1,5ml to 0,5ml and increasing the amount of Bloom from 1,5ml to 2,5ml. After the change I'm only going to refill the tanks without adding any Grow and will instead increase the amount of Bloom to 3ml. Propably a one more change of fresh nutrients until flushing with Final Solution prior harvesting. Day64 (19.12.) Some more defoliation focusing on the upper growth revealing bud sites below them and keeping off the moisture. Already got a trash bag almost full of leaves since they've been pretty bushy plants on average. Day65 (20.12.) Continuing the last defoliation process. Day66 (21.12.) Continuing the last defoliation process, pretty satisfied with the results so far. Light penetration and airflow have increased greatly so I don't have to worry that much about humidity or possible mold any longer. Each strain has started flowering, all plants are females and buds have started to develop. Defoliating didn't seem to stress the plants as much as I thought it would. Day67 (22.12.) Day68 (23.12.) Refilled and added some nutrients with a stronger Bloom/Grow -ratio (~4:1) and left my girls to enjoy the Christmas Holidays as I did. I'll be gone for around three days, after that I'll change to new fresh nutrients as I mentioned before. One Ayahuasca Purple seems to be ahead of others, and a few other ones have clearly started to develop some buds too, rest of the plants are following closely behind. Each strain has some truly astonishing individuals, and I think Ayahuasca's have shown most variety between different plants. Overall everything looks pretty good I think. Week 7 mix pack looks like we have 4 different strains of 4, it would be really really lucky but to be honest all 4 plants are not even close in structure, bud, leaves and color. So it would be: Guava Banana purple punch Apple Strudel Cherry Cola All RF3 This is also the order in which I put the photos. Guava looking a bit forward. Week 6 for Papaya Cookies… it has a lot of bud sites, maybe I should have cut some to redirect energy to bigger buds but let’s see what happens. Love the mystery in this grow and the colors it’s showing. Exited for what’s next!!

Hi growmies! This week has been absolutely cloudy so there’s almost no evolution on this little seedlings well as they are feminized they have more time to grow so im not that worried about it. Watering once every 2 days. I’ll keep you updated next Sunday till then have some Goodsmokes guys!

Just on auto pilot waiting for some height before topping again .which we did again today , feeding daily 500ml with nutrients, slight burning when feed 1320ppm at ph 6.0 but will continue raising ppm,. Used topps for clones

Orion F1 organic, dry amendments. The plant is really developing the flowers while they look really dense, and like they will be some very top shelf buds! The buds are beginning to stack on weight now, and hopefully, we'll just see the colas become larger and larger as we go on from here! I have gone through the tent this week, and I have removed a lot of the lower branches on the plants, as they're not going to grow into big colas or anything. So it's better not to waste the plant's energy, developing those to hopefully redirect it into the larger flowers. I'm really impressed with this plant so far, and the organic dry amendments are really working wonders, and that's been really eye-opening for me during this experiment! I'm very pleased that Royal Queen Seeds were kind. Enough to allow me to try this experiment with some of the F1 hybrid strains. It has been, and continues to be an extremely exciting experiment, and I am again learning more and more with each plant. I cannot wait for harvest and to see what these buds look like after I've dried and trimmed them! 3.8.25: I watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2 with; 💜 1ml Trace PH: 6.2 PPM: 371 I've just been keeping the medium, not bone dry, but there were some fungus gnats. So I have let it dry out more than I usually would probably, because I wanted to sprinkle some Diatomaceous Earth on the soil, and it only works when it's dry. 4.8.25: I watered with 3ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.6 with; 💜 3ml Ecothrive Trace 💜 1.25 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PH: 6.6 PPM: 385 I am going to top dress next week as I checked and it has been exactly a month since I last did one. Everything is going really well. I am now following a strict EC guideline and it's truly helped me not fuck up the plants at all, thus far. **fingers crossed** The addition to Fish Sh!t has only made things wonderful. From my understanding it just allows the roots to, in essence, eat what they need - vs - being fed what you get. So far, I can't argue. Moved lights and used "Korona", a light PPFD app, and placed everything a little better. 9/28 - Day 37: All is good, shit's be growing like crazy. Trellis netting is amazing.

D29: Pistils are clearly showing now. She's looking really good and vigorous. I did notice a (very) small number of brown pistils. Might be from being a little bit careless while doing LST and toching it with the iron wire, could that be? Or could there something else going on? Speaking of LST, from now on I'm going to let the main cola grow upward again. I kept her really low to give the lower branches enough space, and I think that's the case now. I also tucked away most of the fan leaves that were blocking the light of certain tops. I think I'm going to plant her out in full ground by the end of the week. Temperatures are supposed to be 20+°C then. Any thoughts about that? D31: I decided to let it stay in its current pot, in order not to stress the roots right before flowering. She still keeps on growing every day, still at a surprisingly high pace. Also, I'm tucking away the fan leaves and other leave that are blocking the sunlight from the tops. Tomorrow it's watering time again, right before the start of week 6. Since I'm only watering her after the soil is almost dried out, I'm probably not watering her for another 5-6 days. My question now is what fertilisers I should be adding. There's already 60g of granular 6-3-3 fertiliser in it (added over the past two weeks), so I won't be adding any more of that anymore. I have phosphorous grains (6-16-0), and potassium grains (2-0-20) and I'm wondering if I should already add those potassium grains or just stick with phosphorous grains this time and add potassium grains next watering when it's (probably by then) just started flowering. Any advice?
