Luego de una etapa vegetativa con muchos problemas se agrega un accidente que me deja sin las copas de dos de los ejemplares. En esta etapa casi llegando al final de vegetativo, voy aprovechar los últimos días de calor del verano que se va en unos días para que crezcan lo más posible. Siempre estimulando y agregando nutrientes para su salud.

Day 52 They got some Sunburn, and i fixxed it late, bad for the plants but they grow !

I decided to spend the weekend looking for a good Co2 generator setup. It was quite easy to get it running. All you need is two containers, tubing, yeast, sugar, and warm water. Now I'm just waiting to see how long it will last before I have to refill it. Here is a YouTube link with directions; https://youtu.be/Gxb_G3JAhso The plant on the left started to get too wide so I wrapped a bit of string around the two stems and brought them towards the inside of the plant. Then I tied it off on the hooks loosely so I can still adjust it. Just for good measure I raised the light a few more inches to keep it about a foot distance.

She is so perfect..

Moved to a 1000watt HPS, added 350 CFM exhaust fan, lights on at 4am- 10pm, air temp peeks at 3-4pm near 78-80F, Leaf surface temp 80-85, took plant about 23 hours after light switch to adjust (slowed growth seen in time lapse) everything is back to normal now the stretch is real. Smell is strong (no carbon filter) and I can smell it from the exhaust outside. Never used an HPS only LEDs.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Buds poppin' off nicely. Rigged up some bamboo skewers to spread the canopy. Scent's a wild mix - citrus vibes with that diesel kick. Like fuel-soaked shop rags, no joke. Word is this strain ain't a monster yielder, but don't sleep on it. Sometimes the lowkey ones surprise you. Can't wait to see how she turns out. Gonna be fire.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Day 22. She took the little LST very well. Gave her a full flush today with simple ph6.0 water. When the pot dries up I'll start feeding her with some more nutrients. Day 26.... Fixed the pH issue this week. She's doing well but I think next week I'll give her a little more nutrients to see how she reacts. She's doing well on day 27. She responds very well with the tucking of her big leaves. I will definitely fill my 3 gallon pots a lot more on my next grow because it's very difficult to water or even lst these plants. There's a lot of side shoots on this plant which I'm happy about. I'm happy with her growth. As you can tell from my other grow this one is doing way better.

Week 10 - not long now.. She looks good, just a little concerned with the fan leaves but from what I've read this is normal and nothing to worry about at this stage. Hope that is true. 🤔 I've kept the nutrients lower this week as I am worried about over feeding. The soil I mixed with alot of Manure from goats, ducks and chicken so I dont think I need to add anything else. First time growing... better to be safe than sorry. I got to the bottom of last weeks droopy leaves - Underwatering! I had been keeping her out of the rain and had forgot to feed water. Lesson learnt. I noticed the roots get compact on top in a fabric pot if you dont slowly water in, the water runs off the pot and not through it. Fixed this by bottom feeding until the soil was fully wet - I guess bottom feeding is the way to go when this happens. 10-20% of Pistils are brownish now and most of the trichomes are cloudy with a few still clear and the odd one amber. Still trying to get to grips with the x45 loupe. I dont have steady hands 😆 The lower branches that were LST'd are getting really big now so for sure I will be pulling all the branches back next time. Removed potential bud rot and will closely monitor. Hopefully she will be ok for 10 more days 🙏🤞

Everything going smooth over here. They are growing and filling up the tent like true beasts. As soon as I find a solution, I will transplant these bad girls to a bigger container and give them their own tent. At this point I will also lollypop them and perform LST to fill up the tent. After a week of 'rest' I will flip them to flower. Needs to happen rather sooner than later to be good. Can't wait! PS: things really started picking up when I started using silic rock and added a CO2 bag.

Love everything about this plant will be training better on the next run see if can improve the yield overall easy enough to grow would recommend this is a different strain than what im use to got a nice taste of its own lovinf the rqs strains at the minute .made some bubble hash from the trim and popcorn buds got 25.6 gram of it from ,3 plants and put a vid n few pics of the process on thanks fot following thid journey with me thanks for reading happy growing guys0

Howdy, as requested by some fellow followers and growers, I took more media this time, to show the situation better. Photos have been taken in order to show the plant overall, the details of the cola and related tricomes and then there is a 4K video to better see it. I hope that you can like it ^^ Plant kept the same height: 50cm = 20 inches Temperatures were warm, most of the week above +30° (86F), air was dry and sun was strong. Plant got water early in the morning and in the evening after the sun. Please provide a feedback about the maturation of the plant, this should be the 5th completed flowering week. I am still struggling to understand why this year all the plants sucked so much in size, even comparing with other autos I grew Last time that I grew a Sticky Orange Auto was my best asset, it came 78cm tall out of clay pot slightly larger than this year, producing 280g fresh and 58g net dry weight. PS: Why there is no audio in my videos? They are taken with mobile and compressed with DivX converter into mkv pro. The only big change that I did this year was to follow this advice from YouTube, they explained since auto-flowering plants have a very short living cycle, to avoid the trauma of transplantation, was better to put the cracked seed directly into the soil of the final growing pot. So I did, because it sounded smart, but results still show a worsening compared to previous years.
