My grow is finished, previes grow not many pics

Hello everyone! Welcome to my Tent-X Ultimate Grow Challenge diary. 💪 I'm germinating 2 seeds from every of the selected cultivars on paper towels: 👉 Strawberry Cough (Dutch Passion) 👉 Mimozz (Perfect Tree) 👉 Slurricane (Advanced Seeds) 👉 Cherry Atomic Sledgehammer (Welcome To The GrowTent) Did not have much success this time - germination rate was just over 60% - my worst in years. But still - I'll get enough plants for my tent - I always try to sprout 200% of what I really need, for ocasions like this one. 😎 After they germinated I moved sprouts to easy plugs - which is wher they normally start they life (I usually ommit paper towel step and go straight into plugs). First time in years I'm really having problems with germination. The one Slurricane that did germinate seems to have broken growth cone or something - it is no growing at all. Mimozz seems like it wants to die so it probably will... This has been a week of consequential stretch to stress the least! Some girls are about done stacking inches and some still got about a week more worth of elongating. Took a calculated risk heavily defoliating and lollipopping them mid-stretch which they seem to have withstood with no issues whatsoever. I’m starting to smell fruit also. Reminds me of my old neighbourhood’s Jamba Juice aroma that lingered around the block in the morning when you knew they were busy squeezing those tropical fruits by the carload!

Let’s go day 43!!!! Week went real well , girls started preflower so sometime this week I will be switching up the nutrients for flowering! We are stable and looking super healthy! Can’t wait to see what these ladies do this week! Hope you all enjoy !

Proline steps in here as an **osmoprotectant**—it's one of the compounds plants naturally ramp up under stress. ### What Proline Actually Does in This Situation - **Helps with osmotic/water balance** — Soft water can disrupt turgor pressure and water movement inside cells (similar to mild drought or salinity stress). Proline stabilizes cell membranes and helps the plant retain water better, reducing wilting or limpness. - **Reduces oxidative stress** — Ca/Mg shortages cause free radical damage. Proline acts as an antioxidant and protects proteins/enzymes, so deficiency symptoms (yellowing, spotting, slowed bud development) don't spiral as fast. - **Improves overall resilience** — In cannabis and general hydro/soil grows, L-proline (or full amino acid mixes containing it) has been shown to boost stress tolerance, speed recovery, and even support better nutrient uptake indirectly. Studies and grower reports note it helps under nutrient imbalance, drought-like conditions, and environmental swings—exactly the secondary stresses soft water creates. - **Bloom-stage bonus** — Since you're already in late flower with Cha Ching/MaxiBloom, proline can support resin/terpene production and bud density without pushing excessive veg growth. It won't magically add the missing Ca or Mg (those are still critical—soft water + high-P bloom nutes often screams for CalMag), but it can make the plant more tolerant while you correct the root issue. ### How Much Effect to Expect Right Now - **Positive but moderate** — Many hydro/RO growers add amino acids (including proline) specifically for soft water setups and report less burn, better leaf health, and stronger finishes. It won't turn a severe deficiency around overnight, but it can slow the damage and give your plants a fighting chance in the final weeks. - **No downside at proper doses** — It's very safe and plants use it quickly. ### How to Add It (Practical Dosing) - **Source**: Pure L-Proline powder (available cheap online—make sure it's the plant-grade L-form, not human supplements). - **Root feed** (with your Cha Ching/MaxiBloom): Start at 0.5–1 g per gallon (about 100–200 ppm). Day 15: Stretching way faster than anticipated.. Gonna have to tweak the hangers soon because I'm almost at their limit to raise the lamps anymore. Should have lollipopped/defoliated more in the last training session, hope I'll have the courage to go a bit further the next one in about 3-5days which is going to be the last before harvesting. Buds are finally starting to form and dang it looks like a decent haul IF all goes well. No closeup shots will be presented before the frost starts to kick in. I'm cutting down the Bio-Grow gradually and raising the Bio-Bloom at the same time. Thinking about dropping the Bio-Grow entirely at around week 4 of flowering and starting to blast the girls with some decent amount of PK instead. Day 16: Watered each plant with 2l of nutrient solution and upped the dosage of Bio-Bloom to 3ml/l because of 2 strains were showing some P deficiency on the lower leaves (PC/SS) Day 18: Did the biggest and most gruesome lollipopping/defoliation session I've ever dared to. Promised myself this would be the last but it does seem like I still have to grow some balls to trim them bitches once more in a week or so IF they respond well to this torture. Slight P deficiency still on the Peyote Criticals and Sunset Sherbets so I'm going to full send it the next time watering and go straight for the 4ml/l on Bio-Bloom. Next week of flowering I'm going to bring the big guns in and start giving them some Atami Bloombastic to make them buds really swell up.. or die trying! Day 20: Watered each plant with 2l of nutrient solution and this time I went for the full 4ml/l of Bio-Bloom. Only one of the Peyote Criticals was still showing an ever so slight lack of phosphorous so we'll see how they like the full dosage. The bigger GSC had two pretty pale green older fan leaves (not yellowing but still..) so she received 3ml/l of Bio-Grow instead of 2ml/l to keep her going for about 2 more weeks before I can tolerate a little lack of N and let the leaves fall out on their own. Usually I stop giving grow nutes at around halfway of blooming. Don't know if it's just psychosomatic but I do feel abundant nitrogen in late bloom will make the buds taste a bit harsher and give a little headache no matter how good you flush if you keep going on the "full schedule" till the end. All the buds have a nice little sugar coating forming up and the smell in the tent is becoming nice and fruity. Not sure yet which one of them will be the cream of the crop but everyone looks very promising. OG Kush went through a thorough macro close up session and no visible male flowers are forming anywhere so I might just be able to keep her in the cabin but I'm still prepared to chop her off IF she goes full on Bangkok ladyboy on me. If all goes well this might very well turn out to be my best harvest with this setup so far so I do hope I won't fuck up anything now.

Notes! - She drinks water like the desert. She’s heavy as a boulder, she stinks like earth and gas, she’s still putting on mass, she’s very sticky, she has low trichome density, she has many purple trichomes, some hair is turning orange and she’s around week 7 of flowering!

The week is starting werry nicely. They keep growing, I think I didn't over or under water them. 9th day I'm starting to get the little conclusion, all the plants which are watered with Green Planet nutrients are looking a little bit bigger than their RQS rivals (when they were in the same day) Well anyways I think it's way to fast to make any conclusions. 2 days ago BlackBerry was bigger than Gg now I think it's the opposite so I won't make any conclusions before I'll smoke from both sides ;) Well its Thursday today, this Saturday I'll go to a local growshop to buy some more coco and 2 more pots so they have to wait 2 days more :) /edit. I decided to count only the days of first 3 ladies, other plants are like 4 or 5 or 6 days behind the first ones.

This has been a kick ass week! With lost of growth from the lst last week! Doing it early so i could keep these babies in the little tent longer give em more time to get stronger before I bring them out into this world! I got a whole bunch a soil come in this week for these babies!! I will be transplanting them outside sooooon!!! So excited, just been doing the normal top dressing except I'm doing half what the bag says!

Defoliated her Today. She doesn't Look that big anymore.😄 But i think she'll Take the Training good. First i defoliated and after that i have her water and a little Bit of Bio grow and calmag. We'll See how she'll Deal with it. Stay tuned 🤙🏽

Done final defoliation 3 days ago. Took 2 kg of leaf from 43 plants. Now they all fully exposed to the lamps. Huge plants, nice structure. Start adding some magic juice
